I have a corolla 06 showing this same exact code. Could it be the faulty solenoid or the ECU (brainbox)? bcuz im also coming across some articles/ video saying it could be an outdated ECU when this code shows on Corolla and Matrix 05-07

i have the same problem p2714 solenoid I am thinking of replacing on my 05 4 runner to see if that helps with drive gear and overdrive before getting a new transmission if i go that route

Unplug solenoid and check with scan tool and follow up code

My car is over 200,000 miles and i never replace a transmission oil and yet i got a code like this, idk what to do :(
My car is toyota camry 2014.

Did you get it fixed, I have a Lexus Gs350 175k miles, previous owner never changed the transmission fluid started getting this code.

I just replaced the battery because my battery was very low, and after that, everything went well!
