I have the exact same gpu, and noticed your xfx logo does not light up. Mine does, and I can't turn it off. Sometimes I want a zero RGB setup but can't because of the GPU. How did you turn off the LEDs?
Great video thank you. So which monitor are you using for your 4k and 8k editing? And how do you watch the end result of your 8k videos? Do you have a 8k television?
getting into 12900k build later this year, just going to max out the 5900x that I use now till I sell it!the Gigabyte z790 white motherboards are so nice to look at in builds!
Love how direct and grounded the video is. I think the biggest questions I have is just why opt for an AMD GPU? Is it solely because of greater VRAM? As someone who's planning to upgrade their GPUs, wouldn't Nvidia a safer option for compatibility? Would really love to get your insight.
Either card works great! At the time the AMD was the better deal in terms of price for how much VRAM was in it. There are many avenues I could’ve taken to build this PC, but price and long term use is what I aimed for. Hope this helps!
@@MattKendallPhotoVideo Sweet! Subbed as well . I might get the new 50 series cards personally but it's great to hear you're having a smooth experience with the AMD video card. Will definitely consider it as one of my future options. Another quick question I have is if you considered/know anyone using an AMD CPU for their video editing PCs?
I am also in need for a pc build for 4k editing but i don't trust intel due to stability issues and my budget doesn't allow me to get a 9950x, what do you think about the 9900x would it work for me?
@@odavido123 I have had the 12600k till I fried the cheap motherboard, which is faster than the 5900x that I use now in Blender for sure!the 12900k is what I want to build for a friend of mine who also uses the 5900x like me!
Nice job. I think you did well.

bro my macbook pro m2 cast 2,500 i regret it so much cuz it gets hot so fast ;-;
would have recommended going amd with the cpu due to better performance
This is for productivity
@@Facebookdad But AMD's 9950x is also very good for productivity
