Thank you so much. I watched this last night, after two weeks of studying with other sources, and I passed today with a 93% on my first try. Your video helped me realize that I knew almost everything you covered and made me feel confident when going to sleep last night that I’d pass today. It also helped clarify a few things. Thank you!
Congratulations 👏🎉 What other sources did you use to study?
Do you mind sharing the other sources used during your preparation for the exam?
Thank You this was some Great info, Help! Now studding with other VETERANS to get our Part 107 to using as a means of supporting our Families!
This has to be the best recent part 107 study guide out there
I’m terrible at studying , never have been able to do it , my UAGs test is on the 16th and I plan on watching this videos over and over till it that day with no other sources of learning , let’s see if this video will pass me .
Thanks for this video. It fills in a lot of holes in many online courses, a trip through the book.
Quite a few public libraries and fire stations can take batteries for recycling.
Hey Matt, this is a really excellent resource. I'll be studying this in depth over the next couple weeks as I prep. Commenting to help your analytics :)
If this isn't worth a sub, then I don't know what is. Thanks for all your help Matt. Great video!
Matt, technical question, at 42:07, you say that the Barnes Co Airport is in Class C airspace. I'm a little confused on this one. Isn't the faded magenta circle around the airport representative of Class E airspace? Thanks!
@@nickoricko4564Hey! Thank you for bringing this to my attention! You are correct. Barnes County Airport is in fact inside of Class E airspace. I misspoke while making the video. Thanks again for watching and great observation!
Glad I found this video. Thanks!
Beautiful video instant subscribe!!
This is super helpful....thank you👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you 🙏
Great study guide, thanks Matt!
My pleasure!
perfect drnoe. 🤞
Where can the new rules for flying over people be found?
Only half way through the video but thank you so much for making this video. This is worth money, I gotta buy your PowerPoint slideshow after to help study and show support!
Wait, what? minute 42... Barnes Co airport is in class "C" airspace? Looks like it's in class G with a class E above it starting at 700 ft AGL. What am I missing?! Sorry, should've watched further. You did land on G but yeah, I think you said "C"!!
this is suck Key info! thanks so much!
the best
Your video should be ranking a lot higher. It was pivotal in helping me study. I just passed with a 97%!!
Congratulations 👏🎉 What other sources did you use to study?
@@ZZZZPlay-yl5ziThanks! I used King practice exams, the FAA remote pilot study guide, and Pilot Institute. It did help that I have a military aviation background, but that’s been many years ago lol.
The first question confused me. The drone must with between 0.55 and 55lbs. Why is the answer "less than 55lbs" and not "55lbs or less"? I understand those are two different things. Why can the drone not weigh exactly 55lbs?
I understand! The question definitely can go either way when you look at it. The FAA defines a small UAS as an unmanned aircraft weighing less than 55lbs. If you look up the definition in the FAR/AIM it also specifies it as such, which is the reason the answer is "less than 55lbs" instead of the other option. Hope this helps!
do you happen to have a link to the slides?
Yes! www.matt-kendall.com/blog-1/free-2024-drone-certification-course-part-107
Don't you have too many digits in your METAR ZULU time? But a great video anyway!
Thanks! There should be 6 digits in total. The first 2 digits indicate the day of the month. The last 4 digits give you the time in Zulu. Hope this helps and glad you liked the video! 😊
You have to be 16, not 13 I believe
It’s a bit confusing! 13 years old to register drones. 16 years old to earn your part 107! Hope this helps :)
@@MattKendallPhotoVideo Got it!, thank you for clarifying!
