- The amount of you that related to my last Story Time actually broke my heart. I know how hard it is to serve the public in any capacity and what kind of toll it takes on you mentally, physically, and emotionally. Like all things, working retail has cons...but it also has pros and here's one of mine. This story stuck with me especially because Tamara was the LAST person I thought I would ever see at my job..let alone getting detained girl lmao Ahhh the joys of working retail. I once worked with a girl who was so sweet and friendly to me and everyone around her... but one day she came to work with bloody/scraped knuckles and she was like "Yeah, I had to beat this girl's ass yesterday, it's all good." I was shook lol
I always wonder what Mama Glam's reaction is once she learns about what you used to to as a kid lol
My mom was just like Mama Glamour when I was growing up; pretty sure Mama Glamour just shakes her head and laughs when she heard Nikki’s travesuras 😹🤣
Lmao she always tell me “ayeee Nikki I knew you were always up to something” She told me that she can’t be mad tho. She taught me to be extremely independent so she can’t be made when I was “independently” getting into stuff 🤣 Once you teach your kid to fend for themselves they really are unstoppable. I knew how to get from one city to the next by myself. I knew how to start over somewhere different with no fear. She taught me street smarts that came in handy wayyyy more often than my book smarts for sure 🤣
@NikkiGlamour Haha, that's hilarious! 🤣 I can relate to being taught how to be super independent at a young age. I think it has something to do with growing up with single mom's just trying their best!
Now we know that it means that our kids will inevitably find themselves in messy situations (even if they don't admit it! lol).

I worked in retail for 3-4 years and I didn’t get to witness an altercation. But honestly I’m okay with that because that store was too small for all that and we didn’t have security 😂

Girl, at target two girls started to fight and all I heard was screaming so I poked my lil head out 😂 and I just saw Starbucks flying, hands and sandals. You know my nosy ass went to try to calm down the situation just so I could get the chisme 😂. Turns out they were sister in laws & same it was on site. However, one was a minor and the other girl was already in her 20’s it went bad. My boss at the time was like get to work 😅 cuz I was all in the chisme.

My high school used to have daycare to prevent girls from dropping out of school but later on, they took out the program to prevent teen pregnancy 🙄
That's so sad. Up until 10 years ago, our school permanently expelled any teen moms(not the dad's of course). There were two teen moms in my school, both struggled so much, but worked while excelling in school, genuinely being so good with supporting their babies development, having them in healthy family environments. I think daycares in schools need to be standard. You will never stop teenagers from having sex. I had my first at 19, but was pregnant at 18, and I cannot imagine being in school while adapting to motherhood, never sleeping, bad PPD.
