facts I thought of that case where a girl had gotten home to her apartment building after being out drunk and she lost her keys to her apartment and her security wouldn't let her in without the verification she lived there and she swore she may have left them In the car so he walked with her outside but camera footage captured her running back inside ahead of him and racing upstairs to her apartment (she had faked him out to get him outside because she prolly felt he was creepy and she had actually found her keys and wanted to just be safe in her room) and she did and yet he still came back and killed her amongst other things. So crazy

I cannot stand dudes who cannot take the hint that you don't want company. They ignore body language that obviously says you don't want to talk to them. It's so annoying. They have no problem ignoring a bum asking for some change, but they can't understand why we would ignore men (especially suspicious ones) who we don't want to talk to.

Girlll, I wouldn’t be surprised if he even took your keys on purpose to keep you there alone with him, or to end up somehow giving you a ride. Thankfully nothing more happened to you in this situation.
Luckily I’ve been blessed and bestowed severe anxiety since birth, so I’ve always been super cautious, alert, and aware of everything around me and do everything I can think of to stay safe. My boyfriend thinks I’m a bit paranoid, especially since I live in a very small and religious town, but I ain’t taking no chances to get snatched after work walking from my driveway to front door at night. No sirey not me.

The minute i get a bad feeling/red flag with someone i immediately distance myself from them and let family/friends know who they look like and why i dont feel safe around them like hell naw i aint getting near someone who creeps me out nor makes me feel like i should be lookin over my sholders because how unsafe i feel

I love you Nikki, but when you were telling this story (and I hate to say this) all I could think of was maybe he found your keys and hid them, knowing you would have to wait a while for a ride from David if you drove and couldn’t find them and knowing you two were the only people in this building late at night, it really sounded like he had ill intentions. I got this same vibe when you were talking about how he looked angry when David showed up at the gym when he thought it would be just you two… were there cameras inside the gym? It just sounds like this man maybe had some really awful intentions and was hoping to get you alone or trap you. Especially with “roaming the streets at night” that is some weird behavior and I’m so glad you’re okay and nothing happened
Corey/Cody was a stalker and he certainly didn’t have the best intentions. Such a creep!
I am honestly sick to death of being terrified by men. Terrified of ever getting pregnant with a little girl, I would never sleep at night.
Omg I hate a "if it were me" ass man. Like sir , it's not you, it's never going to be you. They think that shit is attractive and that we're going to leave someone we love for them because it would be more "convenient". I'll struggle in the trenches with someone I love as long as we're working to get better, before I would ever be with someone I don't love just for a quick come up .

See, I was a new waitress at this restaurant. Now I’ve always had a car and love driving so getting off at like 11pm-12am was never an issue for me (tips were also good and I’m a night owl).
Now, I hadn’t had time to get close with my coworkers to know all the tea (aka who to avoid n who’s cool). So one day one of the dishwasher dudes needed a ride home after work. I told him I didn’t mind dropping him off, really didn’t mind cause of the reasons I listed earlier. He waited for me to finish cleaning my section and while we were walking to my car is when I started getting the creep vibes. He started asking me about my age (I was 23) n asking me about if I had a boyfriend. Since I had already committed to giving him a ride I did it anyway.
After that he started trying to track my schedule to get me to give him a ride. I found it weird as HELL cause how was he getting home before I started working there? How did he get to work? And it’s not like he was asking if I was available he was trying to match his schedule with mine as if I was committed to giving him a ride.
I kept telling him I was busy or had plans (because for some reason “No I can’t give you a ride” wasn’t a suitable answer to him). He literally cornered me in the walk-in freezer one time to ask me after I had been avoiding him for a while.
He was even ease dropping on my conversations. Like I was talking to one coworker about him needing me to twist his hair for him (him n I were flirty) n right after that conversation ended the creeper coworker came up to me and asked if I could wash and twist his hair. THIS MAN DONT HAVE HAIR TO TWIST!! And he wasn’t joking. I straight up lied and said I don’t have the time.
Needless to say, this made me avoid him even more and I considered telling my manager but was definitely afraid to. Like you said it’s more about the feeling and even though these incidents were really creepy and made me FEEL unsafe he hadn’t done anything to me and I hadn’t directly told me to leave me alone either. So I just avoided him more, like outside of conversations pertaining to work I would straight up ignore any time he’d try to talk to me and avoided where he’d be. Now since I was a waitress and he was a dishwasher this easier to do. I kept doing that until one of my coworkers told me he was fired. Now he has been fired for a week by the time I found out. I thought I was just lucky to not have any shifts with him. He got fired for essentially being a creeper. I wasn’t the only one he was creeping on apparently, but since I was newer and hadn’t voiced it to others I didn’t know they were working up to firing him.

it’s not just a vibe thing, having your keys could’ve he could’ve snatched you right up .. im assuming there was a bathroom on the floor he was on, so there was no need to be in the elevator and not at that desk

Once I was waiting for my mom to pick me up from my community college and I was just sitting on my phone. A boy (who didn’t seem like he was quite all there) came up and said hi. I just said hi back but got right back on my phone bc I immediately had a weird vibe…. The boy proceeded to stand over me, staring at me for the next 5 minutes in silence, waiting for me to acknowledge him or say something else but I did not because I was getting major weirdo vibes 😅
He may have didnt tell u about the keys to keep u there longer and was hoping u didnt find them it would be a chance for him to ask to give u a ride home so then he could know where u stayed.

There was a case recently in the uk where a young girl was asked out by a boy and when she said no he got aggressive and pulled out a machete. Her friend got in the way and was stabbed and killed.
That’s so sad omg🥺😩 but how tf did he just pull out a machete? Do you mean he went to go get it from a short distance away from his body afterwards? I just can’t imagine how someone just surprisingly pulls out a machete

I was at a gas station getting my car fixed and it took hours. Finally it was ready and then another employee told me the car’s been ready for a while, they just wanted to keep me there so they could look at me. No lie!
I used to work at one of the hospitals in denver. I worked nights since I had college during the day. That parking garage gave me the creeps almost every time I left work.

Omg those night time security guards be creepy as heck! Had a similar situation but once , was cleaning an office in the evening at age 22 and creepy older 45 yr old big belly guy looking at me up and down creepily staring at me not saying anything. Made me back up my car scared as heck and hit the pole behind me 😂, afraid he was going to close the gate to leave. I booked it ! This story made me so mad at that dude ! Glad you’re safe Niki!
Naw that sounds like he found your keys and took them and hid them as a way to keep you there longer because if you were alone there you’re basically stuck with him

He wanted to give you a ride knowing David would take a while to go pick you up. He wanted to give you a "ride" you were going to get touched rped or kidnapped. I'm glad you found them

I was in a similar situation with a security guard in Arizona. Dude was creepy. He must have been in his mid 30s or early 40s. Sad thing is that I was only 18 at that time. Another lady security guard helped me report him after the 3rd creepy encounter with this dude. The difference was that our gym did not have any windows. It was located in the basement of the building. I loved to exercise and would go during my lunch and after work. He would always follow me down there. He claimed that it was for my safety because the gym was attached to the basement parking and others could easily get in there. He would stare at me from beginning to end until he got brave and came up to me one day before I got started and asked if he could “taste me.” 🤮 Sick pervert! I never saw him again after I reported him and I never worked overtime again. Nor did I utilize that gym again.

there was this security gaurd working at my local walmart last year, and he was new so I barley started seeing him. Anyway, I would go into the Walmart in the morning for a coffee and walk to my high school (like a half mile away, seriousy it was like right there) and I did look pretty grown (I was a Junior and I'm really tall for a girl), so the first second time he caught me at the door he said, "just a coffee?" And honeslty I wanted to say "duh, that's all I have on me" but was like, "yep." He checked my reciet and I left.
Well, the next day, I did my regular coffee run before school and again, he was at the door. This time, he smiled and said, "on your way to school?" I said, "yep.
He asked, "what school do you go to?"
I said, "Highschol Name," I thought it would be obvious becasue it's right there, but I guess not.
"Oh, you're a senior?"
"No, I'm a Junior."
"Oh, okay."
The next day, he waved at me and smiled. It was so freaking creept, I hated coming into contact with him. He was being weird and shit like usual, so the next day, I decide to go in with my family (mom and brother).
As soon as I walk int BAM, he's waving, trying to get my attention. I pretend like I don't see him. My mom is trying to make it obvious that I'm with family (bc I'd been telling her about it). I'm calling my brother's name pretty loud, and THE KICKER.
When he realized I was with family, he stopped everything. When it was time to elave, my mom handing him the receipt and he didn't even TRY to look at me.
He quit or was fired, but I haven't seen him since that day. Defintly weird and he looked like he could've been 30 or odler.
It's always weird when a much older man try to get familiar with a young woman. I still experience this at almost 30 years old and it makes me even more enraged when I have to deal with it in my apartment building 🙄 With that said, you don't owe anybody a response. You are allowed to acknowledge anybody you feel comfortable saying hello to. It is men who need to stop forcing familiarity especially with much younger women or underaged girls.

David is the best! I loved that video you did on your moms building and their nosey racist neighbors and how you shouted out David at the end for handling it. Thats such a scary situation and we've all called our boyfriends during times like that and felt some kind of protection even if they weren't right there. I never like to carry purses but if I do, it’s a backpack. I keep my keys on a lanyard around my neck unless I’m home or working. I usually like t keep all my stuff on me In my pockets. I’m honestly thinking about adding a whistle to my keys

I 100% agree with going with your gut feeling. I had a similar experience with a man who was around me at work and was being so weird and creepy and made me feel so uncomfortable. I told my boss about it and at first he tried to down play the situation a bit but at the end of the day I knew what I felt and no one could convince me other wise. With that being said, If something makes you feel uncomfortable in any type of way it’s because it is uncomfortable. The other person is doing something that is uncomfortable. Listen to your gut and don’t trust someone who makes you feel uncomfortable/unsafe. Bring it to someone’s attention who can help.

OMG all of this reminds me of that movie P2, where that creepy security guard holds that chick captive in the parking garage of her office building on Christmas Eve. He had his eyes on her like that dude in your story, but I guess never really made an effort to talk to her. So anyway, she falls asleep in the lobby while waiting for her taxi. And when it finally arrives, she goes to walk out of the building but the doors are locked. The taxi ends up leaving. Then she has to go down to the parking garage to inform the security guard to let her out. He ends up keeping her there instead. It turns into a whole thing... Your story is something out of a movie, girl 💀

I had a situation at a job where I had this uncomfortable feeling or got BAD vibes from this new coworker from day 1. 2 days after he started, I was opening and happened to be alone at work and he came in. Apparently he was homeless and just got done working his other job that was nights. He wanted to see about sleeping somewhere in the building since he had no where else to go. Long story short, later that day, I found him on a mugshot website and he had a r@p3 charge on there… I thank God every day that I had that off feeling about this guy from the beginning and that that guy didn’t do anything to me or any of my other female coworkers. Trust your gut and stay safe!
I just noticed that you said you called David in front of Cody about losing your keys, so he heard you on the phone. Even though he knew that there were keys at his desk he still didn't say anything when you were down there the first time. That is shady.

This was creepy. I don’t know which ones creeper this story or the one that you was helping a friend with her fashion shows. This story is a little bit more creeper to me but not by much. I feel like this guy had bad attentions.
Happened to me at the mall😢 the mall security followed me all around the mall. He was standing right next to me in the stores while I was looking for Christmas gifts. I found my mom and started crying because I felt so uncomfortable.
