One time I called Zumiez (there’s no local skate shops around me) so I called Zumiez to ask if they sold speed rings. At the time idk what they were called, so I’m trying to describe them to the guy, I said “the little rings you put on the trucks before you put the wheel on.” This mf said “you mean the bearings?” Like don’t insult my intelligence bruh.

Yeah the bigger the store, more chance to have a non Skater working there.
It's always great to go local+Indy

The best video on the topic. So many videos were so long and complicated. I asked the guy at my local how to do it properly. It was exactly how you showed it. Good job. Thank you.

I usually go with Zealous. Great quality and so easy and fast to mount

Nice video.. How bout for those wheels with a shorter width? I am having a difficult time trying to get the bearing with built in spacer out of the wheel..

The wheels are mostly standard-size. If not try to find a different spacer.
Yeah the built-ins can sometimes be a hastle, when the Wheel core is old/hard.
It helps to have the truck mounted to have more leverage. You also have to be careful, to not have the axle in too deep. If it has contact with the other bearing it's gonna be hard.

I used both options, i found out the best option is build in spacers and speedrings. Nothing to do with easy to install, Its just better the all included option

Yeah less room for error on a part level. I would agree
