Been working on this the last few days and love it... but oh my god, sculpting is hard when you first start out... so easy to be heavy handed and then correcting mistakes is quite tricky... I've had to force myself to go slow and just try and practice and practice each step... the model is such a great choice as it allows for errors... fantastic stuff
Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial! I went through the whole tutorial, and all without a graphics tablet, which is probably helpful but not really necessary. I didn’t miss it at all. It was really fun and I learned so much along the way.
I'm on hard surface modeling courses now, but after finishing those, I'm going for sculpting and rigging for animation. For the sculpting, I'll definitely check out your courses. Thanks for this elaborated and well explained video.
Bravo Zack and the whole team, this is the best gift of the summer. I loved this long film that gives a lot of tips and tricks on sculpting. These more than three hours are fascinating and enriching for improving one's practice... and future Zack is really nice to help us find our bearings with the menu changes :))
"Force proportions" checked in the mapping menu of the tablet would be great because this way drawing a circle on a tablet will create a circle on a screen and not an oval.
Hi, thanks for the question. It depends, sometimes when the scene is simple and your computer goes smoothly you can leave some high poly elements as they are, especially if they don't have complex animations. Of course if you have to import this element into a more dense scene or need to do some facial animation etc it might be necessary to do the retopology process to optimize the scene. ~ Masha
3:35:36 Isn’t it far safer to render out as a sequence of images instead of an MP4? If any glitches or fireflies appear on any frames, it’s far easier to re-render one fixed frame than the entire animation. Great tutorial though! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Yes, this is what I do all the time, especially for renders with long render times. However, here the render time was very short (few seconds per frame) and this is a beginner focused tutorial, so I don't wanted to make it too confusing.
Hi, yes you can do that with a mouse and keypad, but of course it's going to be much harder, and you won't be able to use some sculpting features like pressure sensitivity. ~ Masha
HI, have you joined the course here www.cgboost.com/courses/blender-sculpting-for-beginners here you should find all the downloadable resources. ~ Masha
Friend, could you tell me how to sculpt a head that is hollow inside, so I can make a 3D print. I make the model I want perfectly, that's not a problem, but I don't know how to leave it hollow inside. I need it to make some ventriloquism dolls. Because I don't see anything on UA-cam about that topic. Thank you so much!!
not confortable with sculpt in zbrush, after all these years in blender i'm definitively not confortable with softwares sculpt lmao go back for real clay 😅

Hi, thanks for the nice video. I have a question. Is it not a problem that the model has such a high poly?

Are their new Creature/Dino Sculpting Workshops coming or are your "old" ones up.to Date Till now ??? 🤔
so uhh its not like showing up much when i draw on the cube how do i fix that?
no need to render to adjust composite anymore ?
Can this be done with mouse and keyboard?
Yup

do you need better cpu for sculpting or GPu guys ? thank you
Yes. To render anything more complex or not take days you need ram and a decent GPU.

Yeah okay, but can you make a tutorial to build a real MP7, or you won’t because you’re an authoritarian fanatic
