GBomb Tango Tail - Budget Bushing Axle Trick for Longboard LDP
Maybe something that can help you.
By using just simple wheel spacers, you can use regular sized bushings with your tango tail, to give you a little more flexibility on your rides.
I just love, that it is so easily customizable!

Hey man, good videos. Can I ask a question? How much do you weigh? How tight is your trucks? I am 65kg's only and I am not sure about the bushings yet. I have had my prana only for two days though so I might get used to it. Do you think the original bushing are OK for such a light weight? Thnks

@@bowerplace I weigh about 72kgs and most standard bushings work for me with little adjustments. I usually tighten em until in can't move the bushing washer anymore. give it a try first with the current ones, Paris felt a little harder if I remember correctly. try to steer a little more aggressive. If you still think it's not nimble enough, go a little softer on the bushings! Good luck!

I´ve been downhill skating for 11 years at this point. I went 100k, i went on a bunch of roadtrips, i know what im talking about: Don´t buy viberide boards. Why? In short, The deck is whack, the brake is whack, you can´t change the wheels, your´re supporting a company that endangers people for profit. In Long; Thesese drop through decks are only made for one purpose, to cruise. You won´t be able to do anything else on these and advance. Any board is good at cruising and for some reason this shape seems appealing to many people. It sucks in the long run, get a single kick. The Brake: We´ve all learned in driving school that 70% of the braking force comes from the front brake. Putting the brake in the rear barely makes sense. IF you´re not comfortable going ata certain speed you shouldn´t be there in the first place. BEsides, using the brakes means putting more weight onto the back truck which encourages wobbles. Look for videos on why you shouldn´t put all the weight in the back of a trailer if you dont understand it. Also, using the brake discourages you from actualy learnign how to footbrake which is an incredibly important skill. It is necessary to learn to get better. If you skip this part you will fall. Its like riding a motorcycle before riding a bike. Its the same reason we shouln´t give e bikes to 90 year olds. Know your skill level. Wheels/ads : Sooner or later pretty much everyone wants to use different wheels. I didn´t skate their wheels but considering Rollspeed there can be masisive differences.. THe Advertisements are directed at children. They say " you can skate any hill" dpeicting literall downhil spots where people go 70kp/h. ITs dangerous, its capitalst bullsht. Dont support them. I would also assume these boards are incredibly frustrating to clean( its made for commuting right? are you gonna use it in the rain?) The only niche i see is if you definetly know you only want to commute from a to b in sunny wheater with the board and you won´t ever encounter a sidewalk or some obstacle where you have to jump or pick the board up. Using the kicktail to pick up your board is satisfying as fuck compared to bending down every time. I think it also makes sense if its the cheapest option but tbh. you will definetly find something better at marketplace. Thanks for coming to my ted talk, feel free to ask me anything.

We bought 1 system, didn't use it, invented 4 more and spent a ton of my life making and testing these things. All of this was from scratch. WE DIDN'T USE THE PATENTS OR DESIGN FROM THE ORIGINAL PERSON. Literally 0 part of it. The brake is insane. I've been a skater for years and I don't say this shit because it's false. You know how good it is!! And our customers RAVE ABOUT IT. I originally designed one with my college roomate 3 years before even considering buying out brakeboard. I created EXO Drones as a literal test run so I can learn how to sell online so we could launch the design we made in our dorm room. When EXO actually worked and we had capital, THEN I decided to get the patents and roll with them.... just to realize his design was terribly done and we brought our own in-house engineer Henry Thomas full time to work with Carson and I. We have since filed 5 more global patents, competley seperate from BrakeBoard. The reason it's so solid and you like the functionality is because I spent SO freaking long testing these prototypes. We GRINDED to make it feel this good, and solve all the issues. Also, I started with $11,000 with EXO and brought the whole thing up myself. 0 daddy's money. smh You did your research, but please don't talk shit on VibeRide. I have worked on this everyday for years. Also, it WILL fit all your boards you just don't have the retrofit kit!! We specifically give different pieces in the retrofit kit so it can fit any board! We also give drill bits with every kit so that it can fit literally any board in the world. Literally can fit anything and you're spreading fake news. Fuck this is mostly BS. I wouldn't say this if it wasn't. Also, skate is dead too. We can't be sold, nobody wants to be in this market. This genuinely is dudes having the time of their life making their dream product. We're now designing e-scooters so we can maybe survive. You can't go out saying brakes for boards are bad. They make the experience so much more fun.

Finally found this comment, it wasn't shown. The swearing might have triggered the YT community guidelines. I'll answer this in detail later!

Answer to that comment, late because UA-cam decided to hide the comment cause of swearing. Pinned now, not sure if visible. -"Paid 2 people right out of pocket for years. We bought 1 system, didn't use it, invented 4 more and spent a ton of my life making and testing these things. All of this was from scratch. WE DIDN'T USE THE PATENTS OR DESIGN FROM THE ORIGINAL PERSON. Literally 0 part of it." Its a disc brake, thats probably the only similarity to that system. There are so many videos where you state that you either invented it or improved it. Thats just what short format videos do. It's pretty hard to get a complete point across. Also you claim that it is the first system, which of course isn't factual as well. It would be good to have a clear source on what exactly happened. Otherwise people have to rely on your materials, which are stating both. Another case is the aquiration of "Baorder Control, which is the leash powered system. This also looks like a system you just bought and sell now. This of course isn't bad. Good for you, but if all the systems you sell are bought and rebranded, it makes you assume thats the general company strategy. -"The brake is insane. I've been a skater for years and I don't say this shit because it's false. You know how good it is!! And our customers RAVE ABOUT IT. " The brake is pretty good, which I tell the viewer here: 04:30-04:58, 06:20. But of course it has some issues. It doesn't fit any modern wheel. The new standard size for comfortable riding is +80cm and some nice urethane. None of those will fit any of your systems. The rattling of the pedal made people sell their board, and the parts you were sending didn't seem to be along term fix either. The brake is pretty good, but not perfect. And the complete has issues, like the grip being weak, but thats an easily replacable thing and the standard grip at least looks cool. -"I originally designed one with my college roomate 3 years before even considering buying out brakeboard. I created EXO Drones as a literal test run so I can learn how to sell online so we could launch the design we made in our dorm room" There is a piece of a video where you show old iterations, which looked nothing like the design now. So is this something different else or a completely different product ? -"When EXO actually worked and we had capital, THEN I decided to get the patents and roll with them.... just to realize his design was terribly done and we brought our own in-house engineer Henry Thomas full time to work with Carson and I" Actually fascinating, I think it would be fun to get the whole story in long term format to really get into the details. Also it would be interesting to hear Benjamin Newman (Brakeboard Founder) opinion on this statement! -"The reason it's so solid and you like the functionality is because I spent SO freaking long testing these prototypes. We GRINDED to make it feel this good, and solve all the issues." Yeah its good, but has some minor issues. Still the functionality is good, never claimed otherwise. -"You did your research, but please don't talk shit on VibeRide. " This is where you are complete wrong and out of touch with modern longboards. Viberide offers a 9.5" and 10.5" RKP and 9.5 TKP Brake System. The Boards I have shown here : Pantheon Pranayama: Dropped only works with Tkps and setup with 85mm wheels. The RKPs wont work on this board and the TKPs doesn't seem to be working dropped, also the drop makes it pretty unreachable . Won't fit. Pantheon Supersonic: The rear option where I have my truck is unreachable with the foot. It's impossible to use. The MK Procyon: A bracket Board. As far as I know, no bracket option from Viberide. The Happy Sticky: A mini cruiser with 129mm trucks. Vertically laminated wood. Drilling into it would shorten this boards lifespan by removing the water resistance, also the flex would probably make this thing delam after a short while. Also your trucks are too big and this thing uses wedging. Will be mountable but ruins the board. MK Drop2. A foamcore Board with about 9cm of drop. This one needs big wheels and narrow trucks. The brake is unreachable because of the huge drop and drilling to the core is something only a monster would do. It will also damage this board. Im sure the maker would rotate in her sleep if I abuse it that way. Pantheon Shuriken: A surfskate that uses the waterborne rail adapter. It is too high and you would have to drill into steel. Would not even fit. Decathlon Free 500 Topmount. This would most likely work. But it uses 150mm trucks with tall barrels. I think the TKP's might allow this board to still be fun if it fits the flushcuts and some slidey wheels. But it completely changes the ride feel. I would still say this would work, but I haven't tested it. And for the deck I thought it works, the Loaded Icarus. The Baseplate is too thick. It also happened with the Globe Magnesium trucks, the part where the Kingpin is fixed to is just too thick. I would have to shave off wood and fiberglass, damaging the baord where it already pretty thin and optimized. These things can crack and weakening them is a mostly a bad idea. I shaved some off but stopped when i realized I would have to modify it much more. I could topmount it, but that would make the ride much higher and kinda kills the purpose of a drop through. If the Retro Fit Kit is less thick it might work. It would be awesome to have some measurements for that on the homepage! -"Also, I started with $11,000 with EXO and brought the whole thing up myself. 0 daddy's money. smh" Charlie, let me cite this: "49% of Americans Can’t Afford a $1,000 Emergency, With Many Relying on Credit Cards for Unexpected Expenses" It's not about having a loan from daddy. Its about breaking the narrative that its just some broke college kids following their dream, but more about money focused individuals trying to make bank. You go for it, it's not bad to earn money. But looks worse for marketing purposes. You were honest about where the money is from all the way, it's mostly other media sources that were trying to make a story out of it, so no blame to you on this. "Also, skate is dead too. We can't be sold, nobody wants to be in this market. This genuinely is dudes having the time of their life making their dream product. We're now designing e-scooters so we can maybe survive. " Mainstream Longboarding is pretty dead compared to what it was. When i started skating it was getting more traction and the rise of even more small brands show that there is still a core that loves that sht, but much smaller but they highly advance the sport, it's actually awesome. I believe that you wont be sold because the product does't have the brand value but more of a personal connection to you. If you remove the marketing, there is not much left but a fun product, that isn't really that popular. I think it's good, but doesn't have that much of a market share, where it can be considered an asset. Maybe going more in a lifestyle focus will help that but who knows. But as far as that looks, I'm not sure if you even design your won scooters, and a couple of online sources already warn about the brand, like: -"Do not buy from Viberide. I am getting absolutely horrible customer service and the build quality is questionable at best. Find a company like Segway or HiBoy who will actually stand behind their products and provide support." -"You definitely want to buy a scooter made by a reputable company instead of a random, no-name, fly-by-night shell front. At your budget, you'd do well to look at the Ninebot Max G30 or G2 Max, or the NIU Kqi3 Max." -"Pretty much no company has good customer service in the U.S. these days (for any product). Expect to be stonewalled on warranties, defects, failures, repair work etc…They all basically suck across the board" "I recently purchased a Earth Rover by Viberide. It's Fun scooter but not as advertised" I cant confirm any of those, and of course these are only the negative ones, so take it with a grain of salt but this is looking a lot like the EXO-exit. Also selling to a company like openstore means that the company will be milked dry as as a shell company. There is no personality behind that. Think of that what you want. "You can't go out saying brakes for boards are bad. They make the experience so much more fun." It works and it is pretty fun. But only for cruising. Downhill/Freeride/Dancing kinda sucks with the brake. Its a fun addition on a cruiser, nothing more. And the main criticism was always the marketing behind the brand not the product. Edit: Removed some spelling mistakes.

You are a joke and everyone hates you. Your marketing and product actively harm the skate community. You use dead children to advertise without their parents permission. You are legit a huge net negative to this world and we'd be so much better without you and your terrible company. Edit: I want to clarify this comment is directed at the viberide guy, not the creator of this video.
