3:50 I had heard about the link between hypermobility and anxiety, but the way she explains it here made it click. I'm very hypermobile in most of my joints, and the fidgeting and CNS issues they talk about ring true with me.
Even as someone who has little interest in baseball, I'm glad I watched this video. Very informative.
As someone who is very hypermobile this was a gold mine! It described me in so many ways, it was a strange experience. Wish i had knew this stuff back when i was young. Hoping to take this into my training for sure
a video on all these mobility tests would be nice
Excellent advice I wish I would have heard about a year ago. Stopped playing due to chronic on and off elbow pain with no visible damage form imaging. Hurt like hell throwing baseballs but could rip footballs for 40-50 yards easy. Even as a kinesiology grad working in the field it never made sense. Elbow slamming among other things def sounds like the culprit. Still training baseball specific and do a lot of the things you guys mentioned in the gym. Feeling great these days so maybe I'll hop back on the bump lol. Great video!!!
Best pitching content anywhere. What advice would you give younger pitchers (say 9U - 11U) to maintain healthy arms but still look to improve mechanics & velo?
You should check out this video if you haven't seen it already. And keep an eye out for some more youth content down the road.

Excellent advice with unknown issues my 18 year old 6'8" lefty has issue's staying consistent. Has mobile with tightness. With lower middle stiffness. He would get ? All above . Thanks for your concerns
I'm 14, I have hypermobility in both IR and ER of my shoulders and ER of hips. I wip my arm when throwing the baseball which makes my arms look like a rubber band. I release the ball in line with my head, almost a sidearm arm slot. Any tips on how to keep a good arm and preventing any injury.
Since my 3 shoulder surgeries im hyper mobile in my shoulder
I think my son may fall into hypermobility spectrum. Can you recommend where I can take him to get evaluated. We are in Tampa.
We can certainly help! We're a remote training company with thousands of athletes and about 10% of those athletes travel to our facility in Charlotte, NC to train with their coaches in person for weeklong visits at at time. We'd identify if your son falls into the hypermobility spectrum during our assessment process. Here's more info about how it works!
