Okay, so I've tried using Solid Explorer instead of My Files. I'm fairly certain I correctly followed the instructions given to me from a web page on Android Police. But when I go to the menu screen for KOTOR 2, the Restored Content Mod doesn't appear on the title screen. What am I doing wrong?

I'm going to try this for Xcom 2... It plays well enough on my phone, but, I'll be damned if if it isn't painful playing the game without Musahi's RPG overhaul mod and a few QOL mods.. Haven't checked the folders, but, IIRC, when I was modding the pc version, it had a few mobile game oriented folders in it... Either way, I wish I'd seen this earlier because Kotor 2 just launched for Switch today, so I'm playing it there and... Ofc, Aspyr is considering the restored content a dlc... Sooooo idk if that'll mean they're charging for it or not...

@@JimmySpace69 Interesting. I have heard from others the first one I posted wasn't working and I posted another way down in the thread of the pinned comment. @@Estinchrist Are you using the stock file explorer? Try using the one in the pinned comment or copy the files through the directory when plugged into a computer
Would this work if you already have the game or would you have to re-download it, also if you fail because I’m pretty bad with this kind of stuff what’s the worst thing that can happen?
Yes this will work if you have already played the game. Only thing to mention I feel is that all your previous saves won't work anymore. Due to the new and additional files, you will have to start a new playthrough. Worse thing that happens is you install it wrong and the game doesn't launch. Usually uninstalling and reinstalling will fix anything if you mess up. Be sure to backup save files if you want to keep those.
@JabamiLain I don't think so. If you want the mobile version of the game to play with the Restored Content, you need to add the mod to the game files and get that title screen change.
Android changed some things with the accessibility. They made it more difficult to access and alter files. Best and easiest method is plug your device into a PC and transfer everything that way!
Is there any chance of new translations for the mod? With the translation I use, the game sometimes bugs, since it is not one of those officially available
I have no idea on this. That would most likely be up to the creator of the mod. If the language never existed for the PC version of the mod then I would assume there is little chance it would happen for just the mobile version.
@CatDaddyGaming, I downloaded tslrcm mod for KOTOR 2 for 5 generation iPad with iOS 15.6.1. I can’t find data for KOTOR 2 to put in dlc folder according to instruction. What I should do?

This is embarrassing to admit, but I don't even know how to access KOTOR 2 files on my iPhone. Is there and app that I could download that works as a file explorer but for phones?
Unfortunately Apple is not friendly with editing your own files. You HAVE to have a computer with iTunes to get it downloaded on iOS. This video shows you how to do it. ua-cam.com/video/073x-c9ZYfE/v-deo.html
Thank you very much! I am very glad to hear the content is helpful. Unfortunately with iPhone or iPad, you HAVE to have a computer with iTunes to add the mod. Apple is super restrictive when it comes to their software and files so there is no way to do it without iTunes.
Un related but with the restored content mod on pc and the unlimited influence mod added, do you have any ideas on why bao dur doesn't have any final conversation branches to make him a jedi besides, do you have any more shields i could use
So the part I am unsure of is the unlimited influence mod. Is that the mods name? And what does it do? I know without the mod there is no conversation trigger to convert him. You would normally need 2 or 3 influence gains and then the next time you speak to him he will mention how you are having an effect on him. Through that conversation you can then convert him. You have to wait for him to bring it up though instead of prompting it through asking him in dialogue.
I dont think that's the mods exact name but it's function is to grant automatic max influence with all characters, I can turn most jedi except bao dur which is so weird, no clear forums online about it
@@ebonhawk9875 That makes sense then. So my assumption is you just need to trigger an influence gain on him. You probably won't gain any influence but maybe the game is waiting for that to prompt Bao Dur to start the conversion conversation. That's the only thing I can think since he is only one you don't convert through asking about his past.
I wanna start this conversation... Everyone or at least some know how to add mods an where to find them... But why not make a MEGA mod DLC folder with all mods that you've have put in or what to you recommended. A lot of people including me have trouble finding or making mods work or to know what mods work with what... To have that MEGA FOLDER WITH SOMEONE BEST MODS... That would be awesome

Can’t even see files on IOS, no file manager shows anything. The default one just shows a few random files with no actual game files or games or even an internal storage of files. 😡
With iOS you have to connect to a computer to be able to add the restored content. Here is a link to someone showing how to do it. Their computer is in a different language but should still give you a good idea of how to do it. Apple and iOS is terrible for customization. That's why I recommend Android or better yet PC.
Thank You so much man

Yes this will work if you have already played the game. Only thing to mention I feel is that all your previous saves won't work anymore. Due to the new and additional files, you will have to start a new playthrough. Worse thing that happens is you install it wrong and the game doesn't launch. thank you alot! A question, it says failed to delete the other languages, would u have any idea why it is so? nevertheless thanks
What if I put the mod on my computer, using my "Google Play" account to connect the saves ? Do you think it would work then ?
@JabamiLain I don't think so. If you want the mobile version of the game to play with the Restored Content, you need to add the mod to the game files and get that title screen change.
What if it says my data folder can't be read?
Android changed some things with the accessibility. They made it more difficult to access and alter files. Best and easiest method is plug your device into a PC and transfer everything that way!
You can do this with a school cromebook
Is there any chance of new translations for the mod? With the translation I use, the game sometimes bugs, since it is not one of those officially available
I have no idea on this. That would most likely be up to the creator of the mod. If the language never existed for the PC version of the mod then I would assume there is little chance it would happen for just the mobile version.

Can’t even see files on IOS, no file manager shows anything. The default one just shows a few random files with no actual game files or games or even an internal storage of files. 😡
With iOS you have to connect to a computer to be able to add the restored content. Here is a link to someone showing how to do it.
