Also I would recommend a hardware Mid/side processor like the SPL M/S Master 🔥 it will make that 5% translate to 75% of ur musics/beats quality.. get louder and more dynamic so u don’t have a flat loud sounding mix..
Hey much thx for this...been checking out different M/S tutorials over here, best I've found today...way to get into M/S in a mixing context, just about everything else has been on using it in mastering instead...looking forward to checking out more of your videos man....
With the snare mid side compression, why wouldn't you just EQ down the frequencies in the snare instead of using the mid-side processing, just asking because I feel like the CPU compensation would be crazy if you were processing everything in that degree.
i think i found abug in this eq as it eq stereo the same as when i click left or right it makes it makes the stero eq the same on left and the side eq the same on right. wth is going on am i missing something??
6:02 are you sure about the statement "if you process the side channel you are going to process everything that is panned left or right"? side = L - R that means that the side channel is not about panning but just about THE DIFFERENCE between the left and right. It's a very different statement in my understanding. A simple example is if you duplicate a mono signal and pan one copy hard left and one copy hard right. You are not going to process "everything that is panned right or left" because L - R = 0 so you are not processing anything at all 😅
This guy must be a huge deal! I've seen him work with both isotope and native instruments. I'm definitely going to look him up later.
This is the clearest presentation of mid/side processing I've seen. Thanks Sam!
this mans voice is powerful
this guy is so slick. very knowledgeable and very clear. great video
Really like your style of delivery. More from this man please.
Thanks for the kind words :)
Sam - I learned exactly what i needed to here. Thanks
Thank you Sir
These techniques already made a phenomenal impact for me
First time watching this guy, really nice presentation and amazing examples. The hit hat one was amazing, totally controlled it
Thanks, Oscar 👍 I appreciate it.
This helped. Thank you. You will now need to update your Unmask video, with the new Neutron 4.
Very helpful! Thank you!
Thank you. I was searching for this on the website.
Thank you for the class!

Exactly what I needed today thank you
thank you for teaching me how to use Jack Harlow/Side processing🙏🙏

Nice video.
Excellent!
Is there an eq freeze function in the izotope eq like in fabfilter so you can pull down peak nodes from a frozen spectrum view?

Interesting. I thought it would make it sound wider. But it doesnt sound wide on my Beyerdynamics headphones at all. Just different.
Can I solo just mid? I only want the middle of my stereo image as the track
Thx 🙏🏾
Saw a clip on IG, thought it was Dan Worrall
Alas, it’s just me. Dan certainly knows his stuff though; like how to have a wonderful British accent and talk about audio 😃
@@SamLoose outstanding job m8
👍👍
0:03 Seth Rogan really thought he could just wear a wig and fool us

That painting is haunting in the worst way. way too distracting
This is not very clear. Nice presentation, but, there's definitely better examples.
Exactly what I needed today thank you
