I've been watching your channel since 2022 when I got my first Cosori AF and since upgraded to the Dreo ChefMaker. The Parchment paper with the sides are great to put under the basket and then use it to cook burgers. What a time saving hack. No more greasy bottoms. I do still have the ones with the holes but hardly use them now since I upgraded to the newer ones. Thanks Cathy for all your fun and user tips and hacks. I have to try those magnets, those look cool to use.
I’m the first timer to the air fryer which I’ve got yesterday and I also bought some parchment paper for it. The first fish and chips in it. Absolutely brilliant many thanks.
Your tips were so helpful. I especially liked the one on when to place the parchment paper in the bottom of the air fryer instead of the basket so that the grease will drain away, but the parchment will catch it in the bottom of the air fryer, saving some clean up. Thanks, Kathy.
I have been using the parchment paper liners since I bought my air fryer 8 months ago. I hate the clean up otherwise. I know not to put the liners in while pre-heating the unit, so I have not had a problem with "blowup" burning. I can cook my entire meal with different times and foods using the liners that go up the sides! Baby potatoes, three colored peppers, and Sweet Thai Chili coated salmon all together. I just lift the whole liners out and serve!
Didn't know you had liners. I bought Cosori liners from Amazon along with your cookbook and CheatSheet. I'm subscribed and rang the black bell. Today I used my Dual Blaze for the first time. Three steaks covered the bottom. Mixed every kind of meat rub I could find in the cabinet. Lightly sprayed pan and meat with the type of spray bottle I saw on your videos. Coated the steaks with combined rub mix and cooked at 400 for 8 minutes. THEY CAME OUT GREAT ! ! ! !
Thank you VERY MUCH for these tips! Especially appreciated putting the parchment paper UNDER the grill plate to catch drippings, while the food item is sitting right on the grill plate! Also loved the air fryer magnets! You don't know how many times I've been frustrated with the parchment paper curling over my (frozen) chicken-veg spring rolls! I cook 6 at a time, and they don't fill the grill plate sufficiently. Plus, we're supposed to give them space! Anyway, loved the tips! And I'm going to cook my salmon in my (Ninja) air fryer TONIGHT! I've always just cooked them in olive oil and a little water, kind of "poaching" or "steaming" them, and it's a futzy enterprise.
I've been using reusable silicone liners. They're a lot easier to clean than the air fryer basket, and on the occasion when something actually sticks to them (like salmon fat!), I can use tougher cleansers on them than I would on an air fryer basket. They have ridges on the bottoms that the food sits on, which allows for some airflow, so I haven't had to adjust cooking times or temperatures. They have more structural integrity than a paper liner would, so they can double as air fryer baking dishes for recipes like the BBQ tater tots casserole. They do have some disadvantages, the first and most obvious of which is they have to be cleaned, and in a situation like yours, where you have a lot of people using your air fryer, including teenagers, there's a lot to be said for the convenience of disposable liners. Also, one of my silicone liners is prone to staining, and I can see that it will reach a point where it looks gross enough that I'll want to throw it out and buy a new one. But at under $10 apiece, they're a great value and meet my expectations.
Cathy, I gotta be honest...I am VERY glad I subscribed to your channel. I have learned a TON of useful tricks and now I can make chicken wings (and other things) with absolute perfection. Great job!!
Thank you for the tips. I use parchment paper and like it. I'll try the magnet trick because yes, the paper rolls up in my air fryer. I'll give it a try under the separator when cooking chicken because I hate the oily mess after I get the chicken cooked. Thank you again.
Thanks so much for the tip on the magnets. I've been using parchment paper since the air fryer's being used more often. For food like steaks I haven't used parchment paper, will need to try you hack on putting it at the bottom of the basket after preheating. For smaller items I cut my parchment paper to fit.
Thanks so much for the video. I was wondering why my paper was burning. Had no idea until now that it gets sucked up. Definitely getting these magnets.
The Airfryer magnet are a good idea and I will definitely get them as use parchment papers and struggle with food being covered during cooking. Thanks for sharing
I bought 3 air fryer baskets about 3/4 inch deep and have little legs on them that I bought at Temu. I put the air fryer liners in and put one of these on top and I always have crispy food. They are the best investment I've made for my air fryer
Instinctively, the idea of an extra basket/tray insert seems to make perfect sense - essentially the same as higher racks in a conventional oven. Of course, the higher they stand the closer they are to the air-fryer's heat source - so some allowance must be made for that. Are there any sources other than Temu?
Good videoThis answered the questions I had that I went through about four other videos trying to figure out I grasp the concept that the liners existed before. I was looking for it but when was not to use them is the big thing. Thanks
I have used tin foil under and/or on top of the tray many of times, especially when I add cheese or other hard to clean up items. But I do like my dishwasher safe basket.
And I love your recipes. You are awesome. Your kids are great with the taste testing and your recipes are amazing❤ And I did have a problem with the parchment paper burning my husband did I think cuz we used it a couple times so that might be an issue too. But I love the magnets and I think I'm going to start using the papers again. I started and then I stopped when they burnt a little bit. But I'm either using my air fryer for dinner or I'm grilling everything When you live in a place where it's even still 105° in October, you don't want to turn any oven on or be over the stove, but I love to cook and make my own meals and the Cosori air fryer is a game changer! Thanks for all your recipes and I subscribed and I can't wait to see more. Maybe some game day recipes. I know you've done some wings but I haven't seen any in a while. I've seen some from some other cooks though, but you seem like the air fryer Queen. Love to see your recipe🎉❤

I cook chicken thighs in the air fryer at least 4 times a week, and these liners are a game changer. I just increase the heat a bit and they work great. The fryer stays so clean! I don’t use them when I’m cooking ribs in the fryer, tho. Too much grease!
I found using the liners means i need to flip whatever I'm making midway through but without liners I don't need to do that. But as u say, to save my sanity and my airfryer from vigorous bathing every other day, using the liners or foil is a much better option 🤗
I have parchments but find I don't usually use them. I always have aluminum foil around so I just use a piece of foil cut a slight bit larger than whatever I'm air frying, turn up the edges of the foil to make it a tray to contain any juices. Then easily lift the foil out when it's done.
Yes, I use them every time when I use my air fryer. But I also use it now when I'm baking my own bread (I bake it in a round cake pan in my normal oven, also convection). So simple: Take dry baking-mix, mix it with water, put a lid on the bowl, wait 8-12 hours, put the baking-paper in the baking pan, put the bread dough on the baking paper, put the pan in the airfryer or convection owen for 50 minutes (convection oven 180°C, airfryer 160°C - I'm in germany). Take the bread by the paper, out of the pan, peel of the paper, enjoy healthy fresh warm bread - faster than you can buy it without having stress! I love it!!! :-D Greets from Germany - happy weekend to you all! Finally joined the air fryer world & received my Cosori air fryer On this model the basket has screws holding it in so do people remove these or just leave them in I just thought it be a pain removing them every time I wana put the filters under the top grill part of the basket 🤷🏻♂️
I've been using parchment paper liners in my air fryer for several years and I'm always very wary that they can float around if not properly weighed down. The magnets you used would be so useful, but I can't see anything like them for sale here in the U.K. 🇬🇧. unless I'm not looking in the right place 🙁.
I must be radical.. I will watch this and enjoy it, but it’s so easy to clean your air fryer that it’s a sin almost. But I did watch some guy do something on skewers with some sauce. He had him sitting on an air fryer sheet that I could see. Oh well OK let me see what’s going. Thanks sweetie. Wonderful, as always.
I used to rely on aluminium foil but my mother gave me a box of these liners to try, and now I've been using them non stop for the past 2 months! The only downside is that they don't come in many different sizes.
My husband is convinced they add a smell to the food! I don't smell it but he's convinced. He volunteered to always clean the air fryer (and he does) so I can only use them when he's not around.😁
Does parchment go on top of the crisper tray, or under it? If you use a liner, do you still use the crisper tray? I'm not understanding how to layer these things.
Great review and test as always. I'd love to buy the parchment paper from you but the shipping to Australia is the deal breaker. And as always a BIG thumbs👍 up.
Dollar tree now sells them round though, large ones 15 and small ones 20. they also sell small round magnets in the craft section. a few small magnets and 8c paper a piece.
i started using stainless steel plate , is it placed over the non stick plate , or just placed alone on air fryer, stinless steel plate o rparchment paper over the non stick plate which one is better?
I've been using these liners between the two parts of the basket for the last 3 years I've had an air fryer, helps to keep the bottom clean and collects any fat etc produced when cooking meat. Let's the air circulate.
My instant pot duo crisp is coming. I think stainless is not magnetic, so cant use your great hack. Where do i get the risers to lift up food for better airflow? Are their paper liners with holes for more airfliw, or dont need? Since i like crisp skin on my salmon, do i sauté first or after the air frying step?
I keep forgetting to buy them. I have a question with regards to cleaning. I probably missed the bit in the owner's manual on cleaning the top heating element and everything else up there, so when I recently heard about 'hey, clean the top of the air fryer' I found to my dismay that yeah, it's kinda brown and all. So, what suggestions do you have for easily getting the top stuff clean (or just less dirty)? Thanks very much.
Do you have a good recipe for grilled cheese? I tried buttering both sides of bread, used parchment paper, cooked 10 minutes at 380, turning after 5 minutes but the cheese didn’t melt.
wow, very nice, thank you, but did you say steaks in the air-fryer? what? no, really? p.s. is there such a thing as magnetic parchment-paper? and where can I get some?
my air fryer fan is so powerful that sometimes it blows the food off the liner and i have burnt paper in the basket, so i would not use one unless the food is heavy enough to keep them down, i prefer the silicone liner if it starts to fly it does not catch fire
Good tips. When I take out what I cook I out dish soap and water in it, it sits there soaking. I eat. It’s easy clean… some of this seems like a real overkill. I mean it’s OK if people want to do it but why take something simple and make it as difficult as possible to freak yourself out. That’s not the point. At least that’s what I thought. Oh well…but you have it nailed…
The demonstration you did with the salmon was flawed in the fact that the salmon has a solid base unlike a portion of chips that require air flow would react differently, and the magnetic strips are a good idea but I looked and at $16 a pack way to expensive for me. I use the papers all the time because we never used them before in the oven and the air is blown around the food like a fan oven and up and under the tray the food is in, the only time I don't use them is when I am sauteing or stewing.
I've always used plain parchment rather than the special liners in my air fryer (the oven kind). I have accidentally set one or two little fires because a corner of the parchment is not perfectly weighed down by food and so floats up until it touches the heat element. Very scary! Be careful!

Would love and appreciate an answer to this toxicity question. And a survey of which brands have and which do not have toxic basket coating.

Love, love love my parchments that I bought from you!
Glad you like them!
I found using the liners means i need to flip whatever I'm making midway through but without liners I don't need to do that. But as u say, to save my sanity and my airfryer from vigorous bathing every other day, using the liners or foil is a much better option 🤗
I bought silicone air fryer liners. Any thoughts on those?
Superb Video. Is the sheathing over the magnets made of silicone?
Yep!
Are the magnets available anywhere else since they are no longer available on Amazon? If not are there any other magnets that can be used.
They are back in stock! pineandpepper.co/products/air-fryer-magnets-for-parchment-paper
I love arcent paper!
I meant PARCHMENT paper! Sorry for the typo
Do you have those liners for smaller double drawer Ninja fryer baskets?
I don't in my store, but you can find some here: amzn.to/4etwyg0
Can you please tell us if yourparchment paper has any PFAs in it? Amazon description doesn't say
Thank you for your reply
Yes use liner's since I learned this hack from you! LOL
wow, very nice, thank you, but did you say steaks in the air-fryer? what? no, really?
p.s. is there such a thing as magnetic parchment-paper? and where can I get some?
No, baking paper cant be made magnetic. Its small bits of what looks like silicone that is the magnetic bit. The silicone will cover the magnets.
my air fryer fan is so powerful that sometimes it blows the food off the liner and i have burnt paper in the basket, so i would not use one unless the food is heavy enough to keep them down, i prefer the silicone liner if it starts to fly it does not catch fire
Thanks for the information!
I cook cubed (teriyaki) chicken almost everyday.. and I use liners, and they save me clean up time like no tomorrow.
Can you make them for Typhers air fryer?
Bought your parchment airfryer liners before I saw your video. Now I feel totally vindicated!!!!! 🤣
Oh my gosh I never thought to add Under the basket in certain cases!
Can we just use regular magnets?
Test it out to see if they'll work in your air fryer (just make sure there isn't anything that is NOT oven safe attached to the magnet).
Bonjour, je ne trouve pas la référence pour les aimants qui tiennent la feuille de cuisson
merci par avance pour votre retour.
I have a Cosori Blaze (Dual Burners)....magnets are not working on mine?
Oh heck YES I use AF Parchment paper. Buying all the AF "pans etc" is costly. and then I'd have to wash them too.
hello
Thank you for the informative videos
What model do you recommend for the best inflatable air conditioner of about 5 or 6 liters?
Love to buy your parchment paper, but are they made in China? And the magnets too?
The demonstration you did with the salmon was flawed in the fact that the salmon has a solid base unlike a portion of chips that require air flow would react differently, and the magnetic strips are a good idea but I looked and at $16 a pack way to expensive for me. I use the papers all the time because we never used them before in the oven and the air is blown around the food like a fan oven and up and under the tray the food is in, the only time I don't use them is when I am sauteing or stewing.
I use ceramic magnets. They are small and cheap. Use 8 of them. One for each side and each corner. Must be ceramic for high heat.
I bought the magnet's they won't stick to my Cosori pro ll top basket but will to the one underneath.
Cant you use a normal metal magnet to keep the paper down anyway?
Test it out to see if they'll work in your air fryer (just make sure there isn't anything that is NOT oven safe attached to the magnet).
Great ideas!
I love my silicone basket liners.
merci momon 😊
❤❤❤❤❤ I hope you're having a great day
Hola no veo el enlace para las imanes del papel
Yes, always! 🎉🎉🎉
I've always used plain parchment rather than the special liners in my air fryer (the oven kind). I have accidentally set one or two little fires because a corner of the parchment is not perfectly weighed down by food and so floats up until it touches the heat element. Very scary! Be careful!
