Just greetings across the world, I reside in Dubai and I am a 49 who almost never cooked due to my job that keeps my traveling and my wife a working executive herself don’t have that much time either … but boy I started watching your vids and got myself Cosori Dual Blaze and I cannot stop making good meals and watching you more for better ideas! Thank you Cathy and your lovely family, you are doing a great job! Love from Dubai!
Khaled, thank you so much! I am so happy to hear that! Keep up the great work! ❤️ And thanks for taking the time to say something nice on the internet 🤗😉
Also from Dubai. Got my first airfryer yesterday and aced my first ever recipe (chicken wings) and equally important, my first airfryer cleanup all thanks to your incredibly helpful tips
I’m new to your channel and I just bought my first air fryer at the sweet young age of 70! Going through your videos and learning how to use it! Thank you!
Oh boy that reheat trick is worth the price of admission. I just did it with some chicken breast and rice I had made other day. And while the air fryer was doing that, I was able to use the microwave to cook (?) the mixed frozen vegetables. I now know I need to add another minute or so to the reheat time, but the process works. I will also have to get the parchment paper bowls, as my cutting the sheet to make a 'bowl' worked, but not as cleanly as a real bowl would have; but the fryer is still way cleaner than if I had not used the paper. A thousand thumbs up!!
Life is so easy with an air fryer. When I bought mine about 2yrs ago I cooked just about everything in it. I do recommend an air fryer and things taste so much better.
Your video popped up on my feed, which is great timing, as I only bought an air fryer (some Chefman model) a few months ago after I moved into my new house. My initial plan was to use it as a toaster (an idea I got from someone else). Boy, oh boy, what a blessing it's been. I bought a cheat-sheet too and some parchment paper and I've done some steaks and of course my bagels and toast. I've sliced and diced some Italian sausage and chicken breasts and thighs and potatoes. But, this video today, really opened my eyes to the things I can do. I am going to try the 'reheat' function of my food instead of my microwave. One more thing: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, for not playing any music while you are speaking. 'Background' music is not background and it gets in the way of paying attention to the host. So glad you didn't do that. I am now a subscriber.
@@empoweredcooksI too dislike the background music! As of today, 4/18, you have a new subscriber. Where are you located? I have not ever seen .co on a website. Great family you have as well. Well done mom! We raised 4 kids, at home & on the road traveling as we taught them. I made sure the kids all learned to cook…and… be creative with food! They all are great cooks and while in college they saved a ton of money eating at their apartments instead of eating out. They also taught other kids HOW to cook! Such an important skill kids are not taught at home! Blessings to you & your’s!
Awsome! My co workers all claim they have air fyers but never use them. One says it isnt big enoughfor a family of 4, but she has teenagers so why cant they use it. Others say I dont know whatto make in it. I tell everyone to check out your channel for air fyers ideas. You have so many great ideas that I have never though of or tried. I use my air fyer all the time, and so do my kids.
I literally just started using a gifted air fryer. The gas is out at my apartment, so a great excuse to start. As a single bachelor, I love the simplicity of how she presents the recipes for tasty meals. Thanks for making my life a little easier! The fried Oreos are amazing too!
The air fryer is my best friend! Steak is just amazing! I don’t think I have used my oven since I have gotten my air fryer. I sure appreciate your recipes. :)
We’ve been making grilled cheese in the air fryer for quite a while & some of our AFs blow the top off the sandwich so suggest placing your wire rack on top
Ever since I watched your video where you showed us for the first time how to make "hard boiled" eggs in our air fryer, I have done it no other way! It's quick and simple! The eggs cook perfectly and peel so easy!
I just bought a Cosori dual blaze and we are loving it. We especially love how fast and easy to use and cook food in it. With our busy schedule, it helps that we can cook yummy food with less prep and time. I have made dinner rolls, cooked bacon, chicken wings, sesame chicken, charsiu pork, vegetables, boiled eggs just to name a few. After watching your youtube, I will be cooking more for sure. Thank you for sharing these delicious recipe. Your kids are great and i’m sure they love being your taste tester 👍🏼. Thank you again and I am your subscriber now. 😊
I have a air fryer and have not used it much. After watching your video I plan to go and get some chicken and other things to try some of these great ideas. Thank you so much for sharing them. Have a great day and keep air frying and sharing those ideas
I did the baked potato hack for Easter Sunday. Made 3 potatoes in 30 min while I prepped everything else! My husband really loved this! I will do the sheet pan dinner tonite.
🧁Try making muffins! You know--the Martha White or other brand mixes that you just add milk, right? I have a smaller Cosori, so I can fit six at a time if I stagger them. Obviously, I have to use cupcake liners (double your liners if they are thin); I would imagine silicone ones would work better though. I cook the muffins for only 10 minutes (no preheating), usually at 360 F. They rise better at 360 than at 350 F. I have to be honest, they don't always turn very "pretty," but they TASTE great! I'm the only one eating them, and it's nice to have something fast that doesn't heat up the apartment--especially in the summer! Again, I think a more rigid mold like the silicone ones would probably yield a better-looking muffin, but that's not what's most important to me. Good luck, y'all! It really is fun learning all the things this one appliance can do! 💜
Thanks for sharing! I have always used the silicone muffin liners... I wasn't sure that the paper ones would work without the pan... good to know that they will (doubling if needed). Thank you! :)
I started watching your videos a few years ago. I bought an air fryer the Corsori . I loved it so much it stopped working . I didn't give up I bought another. I now own three different varieties of air fryers. I use each one for different cooking. I have one that toasts, broils, bakes and air fryers all in one. I love them all. I only use air fryers. I haven't used a pan in four years. I also own your cookbook and have tried many recipes and liked them.
My husband hates microwaving leftover pizza before the crust gets soggy. He would eat it cold. No more. I'm getting him hooked on reheating in the air fryer. I make biscuits in the air fryer. I don't have a basket in mine so I need to flip them halfway through. Tip: use parchment paper. To flip, take a second parchment and flip the whole lot onto it. Easy peasy. No burned fingers or fiddling with a spatula.
I love the air fryer, and it makes so many things easily. I never used frozen broccoli until I tried it in the air fryer. It really does cook it better than steaming or microwaving, and I agree with you about NOT making fresh broccoli in the air fryer. That is a definite fail. Steak comes out great, salmon is perfect (doing air fryer gochujang salmon tonight). The cover recipe from your cookbook is my favorite (although I leave out the gnocchi). It's a perfect vegetable dish. Oh, and the crunchwraps - for cheeseburgers, fried chicken and cheese, taco meat - anything can work. I will confess that i've not had any luck making hard-boiled eggs in it, but with a million other things to cook in it, that's not a big deal. Keep up the fun videos and more uses for this appliance - once I started using it, it's become a necessity, not just a nice thing to have.
Ah - I love it! Thank you for your kind words and review! Great idea to leave out the gnocchi on that dish! I have a couple kids that don't care for it... so I will do that next time! Blessings to you!
I boiled eggs in my air fryer and they turned out so well I did it again. Result: egg all over my air fryer. I haven’t been game to try it again. But NOTHING cooks bacon like an airfyer. No constant turning and if you get the timing right you are free to concentrate on getting the fried eggs right. That’s our dinner tonight. A million thanks for the other tips..
I never do a sacrificial egg, a waste. I do 270 for 16 minutes, perfect everything in my Instant Vortex. I do love all your ideas in this video for sure.
Thank you so much, just found your channel. As a person with no sight finding tutorials that are as descriptive as yours are quite difficult to find. I have had 3 top opening round air fryers in the past but just purchased a Ninja that has the basket. Bought the XXXL and although it makes no sounds when buttons are pressed I have managed to place tatcile dots where I need them. I look forward to following yol and learning loads.
I'm new to your channel and have enjoyed your videos. I'm an AF newbie and bought my first and second AF'ers the same week. I couldn't decide between the Cosori Turbolaze or the Pro II; so I just bought both and love them. I bought them with a discount by Amazon and have been using them everyday. Happy I found your channel and want to wish you a happy belated birthday.
I bought it my airfryer in Jun but open today to use I feel bit hard to use for first time than I saw this video so much learn from this video do I saved the video
I'm already using my air fryer for steak, salmon, hard boiled eggs, and grilled cheese sandwiches. The steak comes out so juicy! I've found all these suggestions on your site or by googling around. We have had a lot of luck with pork chops and tenderloin in our air fryer. We have two of them; a Cosori and a Ninja dual basket. We use the Ninja to do frozen burgers and french fries that come out together at the same time with the Smart Finish feature. I haven't turned on my outdoor gas grill at all in a year. We don't do a lot of desserts here, but some of those are tempting. Thanks for all you do!
Corn on the cob has never been better than cooked with my air fryer. The sweetness comes out, and the kernals are easy to eat, leaving a clean cob behind. It's nearly impossible to mess up a meal cooked in the air fryer. WOW, the CROOKIE looks amazing. I've never seen it before, and I'm SOLD. Those peppers look great, and anything with Everything but the Bagel seasoning is going to be delish. I really enjoy these recipes. Leftovers in the Air Fryer is like a new, fresh batch. I can't tell the difference. Microwave leftovers is 20th Century. Air Fryer leftovers is 21st Century and the way it should be done. Fried chicken, Chinese food, French Fries, Pizza, and more is the BEST air fried.
Please could you tell me what make is your spray bottle. I've bought 3 different ones but none of them spray fine like yours they just squirt, not spray. Not good at all. Thank you in advance 😊
I got the Misto sprayer. Result: I now save it to use with water ONLY! My preferred Avocado oil clogged it up and all it would do is spraying a solid stream. Olive oil made the same result.
I had bought the new Air Fryer stove. Loved how it cooked, but it was such a giant mess to clean! In my opinion, The counter top AF are so much easier to maintain and they cook just as perfectly, only in smaller quantity. 😊💙
Have ever tried or used those air fryer disposable liners, I have the cosori turbo blaze 6.8 qt, any suggestions if the liners work for u, help with clean up or have u done a review on ur on ur channel, thanks new subscriber..
I’ve been cooking bacon in the air fryer for a long time. I do it at 400 F for 16-20 min until perfectly crispy. You bake grilled cheese without toothpicks?? In my air fryer the top slice goes flying. I have to put toothpicks in the bread in 2 places. Does the trick.
Ah! Thank you! I'm excited to try proofing and baking breads! Can you share the brand of oil sprayer you are using? I'm not having much luck finding one that works as well.
What's up, Cath? great video as usual ✌. I noted a lot of things about air frying recipes you mentioned from this video. I have a quick question though! What size of air fryer do you recommend a couple who loves baking bread a lot? Thanks in advance.🙂
Hey Sam! Have you watched my air fryer buying guide yet? ua-cam.com/video/WsLvqRGR5g4/v-deo.html For bread, you can do small loaves in air fryers that are around 6 quarts, no problem. If you want to do several loaves at once, then you're probably going to be better off with an air fryer oven. Although those do have enough cons that I don't care for them (more info on that in the buying guide video).
I've recently noticed there are small appliances that steam then airfry the food. It's a hybrid between a steamer/multicooker and an airfryer. Is that something you'd be interested in exploring?
Sure! Which brand is it? The Dreo Chef Maker uses some water in the cooking process on some settings. I'd love to learn of others similar to that! ua-cam.com/video/gYku-SAJm60/v-deo.html
I liked a lot this moodier way you did today and the the two boxes I cant beleive how good they look, thanx for all the great tips again and I just love the games you have find to but on your shelf ❤❤
9.23am Brisbane Australia. Hi. New to the air fryer world. However, I have a 2 door air fryer oven and have no idea where to start. Do you have any recipes I could try in this appliance? It's a 25ltr!
I’m glad you mentioned reheating leftovers. Before we would waste a lot of food by just throwing it away. Now we use the air fryer and my family will eat leftovers. Even the leftovers from restaurants taste great in the air fryer!
Thanks for this video. I prefer simple recipes that don't have a lot of ingredients. BTW: HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! I hope you enjoyed a fun and wonderful B'day.
Hi Cathy, your biggest fan here . ❤ My Cosori air fryer has been a God send to me . I have had a stroke and the air fryer has made my life so much easier . No more lifting my heavy pans . , I love your cookbook . I have grate that I put inside for meats and roasted potatoes ( sometimes I like grill marks on my potatoes or roared vegetables ❤ I love my salmon , asparagus and some easy desserts . Love your taste testers ❤🙏💙 Happy Easter to you and your beautiful family 🐣
Theresa, you are so sweet! Thank you for your sweet words. I am so happy that the air fryer has been a blessing to you - grateful that I can help make your life a little easier with the recipes and my cookbook! Thanks for taking the time to share your gratitude, it means a lot!
Hi Cathy, I live in a different country unable to locate Pillsbury French Dough is there an alternative to use for the Apple Fritters that you can suggest?
Love your video's. Since you are a Cosori "guru" I have a question. I was involved in the recall and opted for the Cosori Vesync Aeroblaze Indoor Grill. I can't find it anywhere on their website and when I click on a link for a recipe that takes me to their website, I get a code 404 message. What happened to this product?
I shall buy an air fryer after getting hooked on your videos, however corn with leaves on in the microwave take only 3 minutes and does not dry out. Salmon as you have shown it also only take 3 minutes in the microwave. Granted there may be a different flavour which I have yet to experience.
Nice ideas, the Air Fryer was a Christmas "Gift Idea" awhile back, thankfully some have spent YEARS trying to actually make something worthwhile...I stopped watching at the Salmon Pizza 0:51 and then clicked on each recipe..yup sorry there's better ways to cook things. I was a Printer for 46 yrs. I want to personally thank you for funding my Retirement in the Country Club of my choice...good luck with your book. 😆

Yes, Misto didn't last long for me. I use this one now: amzn.to/4dN7AIA
QUESTION: Breville Smart Oven Air [fryer] versus a standalone like yours? Pros & cons?
I had bought the new Air Fryer stove. Loved how it cooked, but it was such a giant mess to clean! In my opinion, The counter top AF are so much easier to maintain and they cook just as perfectly, only in smaller quantity. 😊💙
Awesome video. Everything looks so delicious
WOW!!! I had no idea..... Getting an Air Fryer asap
Have ever tried or used those air fryer disposable liners, I have the cosori turbo blaze 6.8 qt, any suggestions if the liners work for u, help with clean up or have u done a review on ur on ur channel, thanks new subscriber..
Just found you! I've been binge watching. Everything looks amazing! Can you tell me what bun recipe you use to make them? Thanks appreciate it!!
Thank you for your continued great videos. Your family is beautiful.
You are so kind - thank you!
By the way your recipes have helped me use my Corsori more..We travel in RV alot. J6st ordered your accessories parchment and cookbook
Do you have a cheat sheet for Dual burners air fryer? When heat comes on top and bottom I assume it cooks faster?
It actually doesn't! It's the same... here's my cheatsheet: pineandpepper.co/products/air-fryer-cheat-sheet
New to your channel. You have so much Air fryer knowledge. Thank you and happy birthday.
Thank you for being here! :)
Ah! Thank you! I'm excited to try proofing and baking breads!
Can you share the brand of oil sprayer you are using? I'm not having much luck finding one that works as well.
Hi Melody! YES - this is the brand: amzn.to/4cAQJIi
@@empoweredcooks Thank you! 😊
I just bought an air fryer that is like a small oven. Do you have zny ideas for that type air fryer?
I did not know about the crookie. Now I know. Thank you 🙏
Leftover pizza in the AF is fantastic. Often better than original.
@@empoweredcooks Thanks dear for the heads up. I haven't watched that video yet, but I certainly will with a cup of coffee. 😄
I have just bought your recipe book. I was impressed with the quality of your pages and how clear the recipes are
Wonderful! Thank you!
This is great information. Question, can you do a video information about your online classes.
Are you talking about my online course? I have a video that talks about it here: empoweredcooks.com/air-fryers-unleashed
I liked a lot this moodier way you did today and the the two boxes I cant beleive how good they look, thanx for all the great tips again and I just love the games you have find to but on your shelf ❤❤
Could you do us some candied yaams.... luv it, but don't know what I'm doing
I just found your channel. Do these tips and recipes work in a toaster oven/air fryer?
9.23am Brisbane Australia. Hi. New to the air fryer world. However, I have a 2 door air fryer oven and have no idea where to start. Do you have any recipes I could try in this appliance? It's a 25ltr!
Just bought the cosori turboblaze...if cooking ground beef, is it better to take out the crisper tray or cook it with the crisper tray?
I’m glad you mentioned reheating leftovers. Before we would waste a lot of food by just throwing it away. Now we use the air fryer and my family will eat leftovers. Even the leftovers from restaurants taste great in the air fryer!
so no microwave, toaster or oven for leftovers? hmmm...
Well we have those appliances but we like the taste of the food better after it’s reheated in the air fryer.
Yay! I agree with you on that!
Happy Easter to you, your family and staff. 🐰🐇
Thank you Pat!! ❤️ Happy Easter to you and yours!
Thanks for this video. I prefer simple recipes that don't have a lot of ingredients.
BTW: HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! I hope you enjoyed a fun and wonderful B'day.
Thanks so much! 😊
When you give cooking times, do you always preheat?
Nope!
Thanks for the awesome recipe😊
Hi Cathy, I live in a different country unable to locate Pillsbury French Dough is there an alternative to use for the Apple Fritters that you can suggest?
You could make a homemade biscuit dough?
Not much fibre here :) Can you show me how to cook kale, cabbage, carrots and whole meal bread?
I'd love to know what you think about salmon in the air fryer vs microwave once you get one and test it out! :)
Tks. Now i make quick easy oatmeal by ur tips ❤❤
Everything looks delicious and easy.
thank you for your video and Happy Easter!!!
Thank you! Hope you had a beautiful day!
Tengo esa misma freidora de aire, me gustaría saber cómo hago para evitar que la resistencia se manche ?
Gracias
Sometimes I have to cry with my food too. But I don't cry because it's so delicious 🤣
Thanks for sharing.❤ I didn't know about bread, yasss
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching!
Loving your videos. But I am confused. Doesn't your parchment paper need holes?
I've tested it and the paper with the sides actually does just fine! Here's the video: ua-cam.com/video/FhJvMZwMd9c/v-deo.htmlsi=FMX0BYGvQnRBjlel
@@empoweredcooks Thank you so much. I am going to purchase your book in support.
Didn’t you do a video on Wong tons? I can’t find it help. I’m needing to do this for our once a month get-together group
So sorry, I didn't!
I do tilapia fillers in AF. And sakmn baked at 425 for about 9-12 n s. In lined tray. And clean up too early
Did you use frozen dough for the rolls or did you make fresh dough?
I used thawed frozen dough. I've done it with fresh dough as well. Same guidelines!
@@empoweredcooks oh cool, i make my own dough and wanted to make sure its the same like you said lol thank you
