As a Casual player, I totally agree. I've been "baited" (my fault) to starter but not cheap nor friendly build lots of times... So a clear "this 1-10 Divines" (which i think that's reasonable and doable on a league/season for everyone) can clear up to bosses, T17's or even Ubers (i never did them) is what i expect to find and play.

Genuinely a cool build/concept. Its real easy to throw infinite currency at a build to make it T17 viable but its way harder to get it done on this sort of budget.

For 1 div the build is pretty insane. People heavily underestimate cost vs character power. Im running with my usual cold dot leaguestarter, did everything besides feared rn and I spent around 30c for the build. Its incredibile to achieve something like this on cheap budgets. And for your build, t17 in 1 div is crazy, reminds me of a guy that was nuking t17s on a 10 div shield crush raider. So much power for cheap is amazing. Keep up the content my dude! ❤
Last league I started as boneshatter high and had a blast. This league was shield crush jug, but I am very interested in expanding my knowledge base and cold builds appeal to me

This build is just crazy! So much damage with such cheap unique items - wow! I have already tested the assembly on T16 and I will tell you that it has excellent mapping potential in general, perhaps even the best I have played on, after the archer.
Ok so I've been playing this build for several days now and thought I'd give my input. It's fun AS HELL...HOWEVER, there are some things that I think are truely horrible and that's the reliance of bound fate to pop off, which it can also really mess you up when mobs won't swing at you especially during boss encounters. The other thing is this build is a 7 button build so if you have a hard time with pushing 1-3 buttons this may not be the build for you, however I love every second of it. There are a couple more minor cons I have about the build which I'm working on correcting- I figure if we replace the belt and necklace with a mageblood and defiance you will truely be immortal although I still need to acquire a MB to figure this out.
You better decide on a right path befor getting mb , wanna go str stacking ? , cold conversion , you need to plan a build , dropping a mb into build is good but other items are not in mb tier i recommend going str stacking or some kinda really high dps weapons

I cut out a lot of burst dps by switching out the bound fate and the fallacy.. for a yellow belt with moderate stats and a defiance of destiny which my boat boys had brought me back so it literally cost me nothing. I just cleared a t17 with ease and ate every one of lycias inevitable circle which were 100% across the map because of 182% monster increased area of effect. This build is fantastic and so fun to play around with.
ONE problem i cant seem to escape is physical reflect seems to still hurt me no matter if i use soul of yugul + watcher eye(determ 50% physical reflect reduce), and I've even tried taking the physical damage node for 60% reduced physical damage reflect AT THE SAME TIME AS THE OTHERS and a magic map with reflect physical damage will kill me but I never have the issue in elemental reflect making changes for that accordingly (using the elemental mastery node swap 60% reduce elemental reflect+son of yugul) Even with my 160% of physical damage reflection reduction i will still pop and I can't figure out why.

Also pro tip for the Petrified Amber if you have an open red socket put in an Intimidating Cry, the taunt overrides the tree so mobs will attack you for a few seconds instead of the tree
I am in poe since beta, I played later when Dominus was main boss in just three acts but I never even knew that Gladiator has so much block nodes, I am ashamed to say I never ever seen Glad ascendacy.

Well if endgame you mean just by this 1 divine? All normal pinnacle bosses are fine except maven since she teleports too much and has dot dps , abomination boss t17 was pretty ez but nigjtmare of catarina was pretty rippy due too dot dps and the citadel boss needs some kinda special setup to avoid action speed reduction , and for ubers ! I do not recommend doing them on this budget

I want to start playing PoE for the first time, after reading the description you wrote, I understood this is definitely NOT for newbies 😂 I saw the word budget and mistakenly thought of it as beginner friendly. I wanted to play the game blind, but everyone keeps saying to follow a build guide. So I'm searching. 😊
Builds for 1 div and litle more are accesible for every player that don¡t have to much time to play and invest in order to play hight content ingame, so much apreciated this video and videos in general like this one.

It was my league starter so level with any melee skill you like then you after first lab switch to retal but read the skill , gou need to block to deal damage cap your block
Tree general layout is looking extremely similar to my bleed glad, and most of the gear I already have, or even better. Should be easy to transition for people on a build like that. Very interesting. Yes i think they will nerf the block aspect of it and also damage or make it low QOL hope they don't touch it since when i saw the skills on the trailer i was like this will be the best budget build that we can play around with

I'm loving this build. It's hilarious watching that fist come down and flatten everything. Waiting to get attacked takes getting used to. Seems like there should be a way to attack normally with decent dps for trash mapping and just have the retaliation skills be where the big dps comes from. Anyhow, looking forward to seeing a stronger version of this build. Thank you. PS: I'm running Admiral's Arrogance and Beacon of Madness just as an experiment. I think I'm going to drop the boots when I find something that can give equivalent arm/eva.

Hey man thabks for watching let me tell you something this build doesnt feel like melee at all well at least for me since i never play melee builds played so many retal skill in grim dawn game and when i saw the trailer of 3.25 i said i am gonna elague start these skills i am sure they will serve me well and they feel like spells ! Mostly like vaal skills swordstorm is like bladefall , but well crushing fist is slam can't say it is like a spell but i am happy with the resualt hope it fits you as well
Thank you for this. Managed to clear my 1st Tier 17 Map! Seriously, I did not enjoy it at 1st. Its slow not zoomy, you have to wait for them to attack you, piano mode for me haha. But its tanky and the damage is there. Really really good for 1div budget
love the build tbh. would love seeing a guide for this that also includes what can be done to it for around another 10d since with what this can farm that should be an easy amount to farm. also for next 1d project, dual wield lacerate perhaps would be a thought from me

Finished (almost, have to lvl up a bit more) yor build. After 30m+ cyclo dps it's a bit slow but my god how tanky is it... I just face tank everything i had to dodge with my other buold or 1 shot dead. Now i will try to ramp up the dps to 5-6m at leat. Thank you! You saved me from quiting this league)
Thanks glad i could help this video is really old with these days items you can perform much much better than this also checl the 2 other videos related to it one of them being Q and A and the other is a 5 divine version of it and there is also another 1 div version using eviscerate skill and scaling bleed damage (items are more expensive for it but can be replaced)

Hey thanks , most of time i ignore monsters and just jump into them until someone hits and then i start slashing and smashing , i don't fully clear map just the things i need maybe boss rushing or strongboxes , exiles what ever . For annointment check the 5 div version of it and for the very endgame we switch to bleed version and it is the latest video
Nice video. I have some question on the dps for the final build. 1. When calculating damage from Swordstorm on POB should I add count on to it because it hit 8 times? the damage in the video looks higher than 3 mil 2. How often are you crit with the Bound Fate? because without the Always Crit, the damage is 4 times lower. What is the dps when you dont have the always crit status. Is it going to be slow clearing?

Played LS warden and Frost Blades Warden and still squishy and I put over 100 div into both builds to be able to stay tankier/ do more dps yet its not good for me. I am so going to start this one, but would love to know how you scale it up even more

Can confirm this build actually is good. once you get to lv 70+ the build falls into place thanks to the skill tree and what not i was dying left to right (Five times Because i was power leveles and was 60) But once i got my lab3 and 70 i could solo tire 10 and everything else i havent tried more yet im only 1div lol im poor i need 7 more divs hahaha but fun build
Well anything that you enjoy beside legion and sanctum cause this build needs to get hit and block the hit to deal damage , so try any league mechanic you enjoy also avoid mechanics or bosses that have dot damage or you will have bad time i did not enjoy doing maven with it with this 1 divine budget , try ultimatum , ritual , beast also blight might have some challenges
Hey Dexykai, I've been loving the build, I've been able to get this working perfect in T17, and can even face tank bosses.. I have one small issue, though, and I'm wondering if I'm maybe just missing something small. Leap slam doesn't feel very strong, and there are these huge lulls in my retaliation being up. For example, sometimes I'll have like 20 mobs surrounding me and hitting me, but I'm not taking any damage, and I never get the retaliation to proc, so I'm left only with leap slam for damage. Would you suggest swapping in another skill?
Those monster are not able to hit you cause of the belt read its modifiers and you can use another movement skill like maybe frostblink , thanks for watching man
sadly not any guide but here is a tip do not change to retal skills without the 50% chance and also being block capped on spells and attacks or you will have very bad time if you do all these on lvl 33 and first lab is done you will be good until the end also if you are not comfy level up with a melee skill that you like and you are used to it so you won't mess it up , have a great leveling man

Well not sure but better join discord server so that we all could use your endgame setup , but lets say get all your resis with mageblodd get as many damage modifiers on gear , or go into some kinda str stacking with alberon boots and scale chaos damage
I love the fact that i already have 90% of the gear for this and am leveling a glad right now anyway. . . Might switch weapons and throw The Impaler and Crushing Fist in the 6L. . . For more up front damage. . . We shall see.
@@Dexykai I leveled my Zerker with it in a 4L with the keystone for taking 7 hits so I could use a 2h Mace and Shockwave support to instantly proc the Impaler 1-5 times. Phased every boss in the campaign with it without any crits (Resolute Technique specced) in 1 hit.

Sanctum is a hard content specially for new players it has so much stuff to leaen , so i would recommend the bleed version if you have the shield since the shjeld is really expensive these days but corrupted versions are cheaper
I played retaliation skills from day 1 , league started with them , play what ever skill you like up to your first accendency point for 50% chance for retal skills to remain usable then with having block capped with versatile combat you can use evicerate or any of them that you like i had a 4 link evicerate and also 4 link fist and my lacerate as a backup did not have any issue with it cause i was having fun with it but the skill might seem clunky to some people my friend didn't like it
Hi, since the belt mods are really on useful for damage in 2 out of the 6 conditions is there a better alternative? Its 700K base damage without rolling the crit option and with it jumps to almost 4 mil. Cool concept for sure
W8 for the upcoming video it will be a 5 D build and it is amazing , also the belt is doing a very good job pob is dumb , we are criting every 4th retal skill so we always have that critical damage we want from it , it is rhe best budget belt for this build other options would be HH or mageblood or rystlatha ( only scales physical part of damage) you can go and buy a stygian with high life but we need damage in the build so i prefer this belt unti we save for MB
Im giving this build a shot, my only question so far is what skills do you think would be useful to put in the helmet? we have 4 extra slots and seems a shame to let them go to waste

Has the prices gone that much up or am I missing something? Currently, swords equivalent to ones on POB are upwards of 2D, amulet is 1D, etc... Anyways, good build and great idea.
Take lower rolls no need to get the best remember this is for budget not endgame version so that you transition to an undgame version by farming vurrency

Hey man use any skill you are confy with to level up get full block , also the first accendency for measured retaliation when you block a hit then you can use the skill

@@Borimse16 yes man t 17 maps are really rippy and to get good mods is really important anything that doesnt make you take dot is fine or make you degen instantly , so monsters having power charges or inc crit chance we dont care we just care about can they 1 shot us or not so you better go and check regex site and see what mods are good for you

Did you level through the campaign with a particular method? This is only my third league playing one character per league, so following a league start guide each time.
It was my league starter so level with any melee skill you like then you after first lab switch to retal but read the skill , gou need to block to deal damage cap your block
Tree general layout is looking extremely similar to my bleed glad, and most of the gear I already have, or even better. Should be easy to transition for people on a build like that. Very interesting. This looks like something that may be nerfed into oblivion next league lmao.

Yes i think they will nerf the block aspect of it and also damage or make it low QOL hope they don't touch it since when i saw the skills on the trailer i was like this will be the best budget build that we can play around with

I'm loving this build. It's hilarious watching that fist come down and flatten everything. Waiting to get attacked takes getting used to. Seems like there should be a way to attack normally with decent dps for trash mapping and just have the retaliation skills be where the big dps comes from. Anyhow, looking forward to seeing a stronger version of this build. Thank you. PS: I'm running Admiral's Arrogance and Beacon of Madness just as an experiment. I think I'm going to drop the boots when I find something that can give equivalent arm/eva.

Hey man thabks for watching let me tell you something this build doesnt feel like melee at all well at least for me since i never play melee builds played so many retal skill in grim dawn game and when i saw the trailer of 3.25 i said i am gonna elague start these skills i am sure they will serve me well and they feel like spells ! Mostly like vaal skills swordstorm is like bladefall , but well crushing fist is slam can't say it is like a spell but i am happy with the resualt hope it fits you as well

Thank you for this. Managed to clear my 1st Tier 17 Map! Seriously, I did not enjoy it at 1st. Its slow not zoomy, you have to wait for them to attack you, piano mode for me haha. But its tanky and the damage is there. Really really good for 1div budget

love the build tbh. would love seeing a guide for this that also includes what can be done to it for around another 10d since with what this can farm that should be an easy amount to farm. also for next 1d project, dual wield lacerate perhaps would be a thought from me

Finished (almost, have to lvl up a bit more) yor build. After 30m+ cyclo dps it's a bit slow but my god how tanky is it... I just face tank everything i had to dodge with my other buold or 1 shot dead. Now i will try to ramp up the dps to 5-6m at leat.

Thanks glad i could help this video is really old with these days items you can perform much much better than this also checl the 2 other videos related to it one of them being Q and A and the other is a 5 divine version of it and there is also another 1 div version using eviscerate skill and scaling bleed damage (items are more expensive for it but can be replaced)

Hey thanks , most of time i ignore monsters and just jump into them until someone hits and then i start slashing and smashing , i don't fully clear map just the things i need maybe boss rushing or strongboxes , exiles what ever . For annointment check the 5 div version of it and for the very endgame we switch to bleed version and it is the latest video

Nice video. I have some question on the dps for the final build.
1. When calculating damage from Swordstorm on POB should I add count on to it because it hit 8 times? the damage in the video looks higher than 3 mil
2. How often are you crit with the Bound Fate? because without the Always Crit, the damage is 4 times lower. What is the dps when you dont have the always crit status. Is it going to be slow clearing?

Played LS warden and Frost Blades Warden and still squishy and I put over 100 div into both builds to be able to stay tankier/ do more dps yet its not good for me. Can confirm this build actually is good. once you get to lv 70+ the build falls into place thanks to the skill tree and what not i was dying left to right (Five times Because i was power leveles and was 60) But once i got my lab3 and 70 i could solo tire 10 and everything else i havent tried more yet im only 1div lol im poor i need 7 more divs hahaha but fun build

You can use the bench for flask crafting "used when reached full charges"
It's gonna cost more compared to 12 inst to 1 chaos , but true that is another option for fast crafting

Well anything that you enjoy beside legion and sanctum cause this build needs to get hit and block the hit to deal damage , so try any league mechanic you enjoy also avoid mechanics or bosses that have dot damage or you will have bad time i did not enjoy doing maven with it with this 1 divine budget , try ultimatum , ritual , beast also blight might have some challenges
Hey Dexykai, I've been loving the build, I've been able to get this working perfect in T17, and can even face tank bosses.. I have one small issue, though, and I'm wondering if I'm maybe just missing something small. Leap slam doesn't feel very strong, and there are these huge lulls in my retaliation being up. For example, sometimes I'll have like 20 mobs surrounding me and hitting me, but I'm not taking any damage, and I never get the retaliation to proc, so I'm left only with leap slam for damage. Would you suggest swapping in another skill?
Those monster are not able to hit you cause of the belt read its modifiers and you can use another movement skill like maybe frostblink , thanks for watching man

sadly not any guide but here is a tip do not change to retal skills without the 50% chance and also being block capped on spells and attacks or you will have very bad time if you do all these on lvl 33 and first lab is done you will be good until the end also if you are not comfy level up with a melee skill that you like and you are used to it so you won't mess it up , have a great leveling man
Wish there were guides like his but SSF friendly and perhaps not so powerful but end content ssf

Well not sure but better join discord server so that we all could use your endgame setup , but lets say get all your resis with mageblodd get as many damage modifiers on gear , or go into some kinda str stacking with alberon boots and scale chaos damage

I love the fact that i already have 90% of the gear for this and am leveling a glad right now anyway. . . Might switch weapons and throw The Impaler and Crushing Fist in the 6L. . . For more up front damage. . . We shall see.

@@Dexykai I leveled my Zerker with it in a 4L with the keystone for taking 7 hits so I could use a 2h Mace and Shockwave support to instantly proc the Impaler 1-5 times. Phased every boss in the campaign with it without any crits (Resolute Technique specced) in 1 hit.
Finally some variety.

Sanctum is a hard content specially for new players it has so much stuff to leaen , so i would recommend the bleed version if you have the shield since the shjeld is really expensive these days but corrupted versions are cheaper

Get a low level axe with spectral wolf enchant + unique shield that gives 300 cold damage to retal skills and you are good to go

The belt gives lucky damahe and crits , swords give huge dps , amulet gives crit multiplier , glad you like it

I played retaliation skills from day 1 , league started with them , play what ever skill you like up to your first accendency point for 50% chance for retal skills to remain usable then with having block capped with versatile combat you can use evicerate or any of them that you like i had a 4 link evicerate and also 4 link fist and my lacerate as a backup did not have any issue with it cause i was having fun with it but the skill might seem clunky to some people my friend didn't like it

These skills need flat damage and gem levels then you are good , so something like prism weave belt helps alot

Hi, since the belt mods are really on useful for damage in 2 out of the 6 conditions is there a better alternative? Its 700K base damage without rolling the crit option and with it jumps to almost 4 mil. Cool concept for sure
W8 for the upcoming video it will be a 5 D build and it is amazing , also the belt is doing a very good job pob is dumb , we are criting every 4th retal skill so we always have that critical damage we want from it , it is rhe best budget belt for this build other options would be HH or mageblood or rystlatha ( only scales physical part of damage) you can go and buy a stygian with high life but we need damage in the build so i prefer this belt unti we save for MB

well flat damage is really needed those swords have like up to 1000 dps so if you get the flat damage might be good option but not without flat damage

Has the prices gone that much up or am I missing something? Currently, swords equivalent to ones on POB are upwards of 2D, amulet is 1D, etc...
Anyways, good build and great idea.
Take lower rolls no need to get the best remember this is for budget not endgame version so that you transition to an undgame version by farming vurrency

@@Borimse16 yes man t 17 maps are really rippy and to get good mods is really important anything that doesnt make you take dot is fine or make you degen instantly , so monsters having power charges or inc crit chance we dont care we just care about can they 1 shot us or not so you better go and check regex site and see what mods are good for you

@@icantwait well regex has nothing to do with loot filter you roll your maps and dump in a tab then you paste the regex code in the search bar of stash then it highlights what you looking for
