Oh my dude. Playing this buld few weeks and here are some advices. 1st of all you really need "defiled forces" notable. It will uptime your ignite and will boost your damage waaaay more than any notable on the tree. You dont need 2nd curse on amulet, coz you will override mark from ring you r casting anyway. You need ignite prolif from craft in kalguur and replace weapon to one handed sword. You will get insane clear and easiest simulacrum. You need polaric devastator ring on swap if you R not bossing(pretty always). Huge dps boost. 4 notables to ignore crits from unfaltering is too much. You can Take corrupted "cloak of flames" -50% crit, take -40% from notable in the defiled forces, recpec points to go closer to centre of the tree and you will get free jewel slot +10 dex and -90% from crit, to get 100% you need 2 tattoes. 5% HP on block on shield will save you many times, if you get yor hp regen off. Easy craft with awakener orb.
For anyone who wants to join the Church of Ritual gambling, Glacier has tons of unique mobs at the end that benefit from the extra tribute passive, and they give tons of gold. Just clear the map without doing the rituals, check if a ritual spawned in the boss room, then do them in reserve if it did. You can even use a blood vessel on the ritual in the boss room if you have one for your next map.

I'm team Ritual now. On a rerolled page there was this unassuming little ring. Synthesized and got +1 to max frenzy implicit. For like 1600 favors. Thought my trade macro was wrong so I checked the official trade site: Uncorrupted non unique rings like that go for 300+ divs. Hell yeah. Ritual for life!

its not a bug with the curse interaction. its how curses work. you override each other all the time and get the effect from both that way. it works cuz punishments effect is over 3s and we hit so often to trigger the phantasms in the short time.

Hello sir, I've played a cast when stunned chieftain last league and I farmed a lot of ultimatums. Sometimes you get really big prizes with corruptioh on uniques. I've gotten 2 times a +1 gem dialla's malefaction (sold one for 45 div), a well rolled and nice corrupted void battery (don't remember exactly but it was like 25 div) and the most expensive item was a +1 max curse badge of the brotherhood that sold for like 120 div (it was my biggest sale on poe!). Keep farming and you'll get nice things too ;) (don't forget that each reward has 25% chance to be duplicated) It's pretty cool that you're quoting emiracle in your video since I was watching his channel too for ultimatum. For this league I wanted to try his version with cast when stunned saboteur (poison DD with triggerbots) but DD seems to have been hit pretty hard by the patchnote so I'm not sure we can get enough damage. If you want some inspiration for the chieftain, I was mainly following a pob from Crouching tuna. I wanted a quick character (with mageblood) and reverse chill but without any investment on non damaging ailment duration, chill lasts 2 sec so it's really not worth the trouble of setting it up. Save yourself the trouble and don't try it, especially since you have a shiny new ring to equip this league on the 2nd ring slot (other than Valyrium).

How are you dealing with late wave Kosis? Most of the time they spawn with a pack that will instantly melt them with ignite explosion, but I've had the situation pop up that I can't get a mob to explode on him and then it just becomes impossible due to his ES recharge move. Penance Mark ghouls also seem to expire before they can die and explode.
As someone who's very new to the game and started this league with a Deadeye... this is salvation, thank you soooo much! Already started with this build and I am into it :D Though, tiny question, could you explain how we work against the Righteous Fire life leech? I understand that Life Reg is essential in this build but I also dont?! :') How do I cope when I need to get rid of Immortal Flesh?
90% max res, Arakaali Pantheon and Life Regen. For this build you need alot of life regen. Also we have life leech and recoup but it's a conditional recovery
After watching this... i've learned that every content creator of path of exile is doing it the wrong way. Zero to hero is the best way to show and explain how the character is built and works. Im playing a boss build right now (Viper strike of mamba) and i might create this build now just to relax while watching streams on the side lol. Thanks for your awsome video! Well explained.
Nice video man, love watching your zero to hero journeys. You can use Vaal Breach to supplement the single target too, a friend of mine is doing very low effort simulacrums with this build while he is working xd. Also he said that ignite chance tattoos make a big difference
tried out a glass cannon ele hit of the spec, gave up and took a break from the game after week 1 cuz i'm bad at the game and was dying a lot. Been thinking of trying out this build as i kind of just want to play POE brainlessly and have a character that i never have to worry about dying. Will most definitely reroll into this!

idk man( I spent about 35 divine orbs, but you can make a swap a lot cheaper. I can't give you exact prices, check out the budget POB in the video description and try to calculate.
I mean, technically you can league start like he did. I would say at bare minimum you want the bloodnotch and immutable force. everything else will be quite cheap. you can use the phoenix shield for +5 fire res and the immortal flesh belt for a lot of regen. theres also a Kikazaru topaz ring which gives 3 life regen per level (also good for leveling with rf) you could use two of those rings but then you'd have to use a lot of skill points to get stun based off of es. if you're using the ring he said, might be best to use the other ring for res / stats, etc
i'd say with the current economy, 120 divs will have you farming t16 8 mod corrupted maps effortlessly, my current character is 7500 health ( 3900 unreserved ) 90% all resists, 75% to chaos, and 75% to chaos over time, arakaali pantheon, 2600 life regen a second, 2 different types of life recoup, 1 from a unique jewel, life recoups from normal jewels, unkillable.

Thanks for showcasing this build. I started with Necromancer and lost interest. Never really played a marauder before as I tend to dislike melee characters. I've done RF before on a Templar way back when but this builds survivability is a bignchange for me. Usually play squishy builds. The explosions this build puts out coupled with its high defense is really fun.
Last league i did a build like this with the warlock mark from wildwoods, think i died maybe 10 times total to level 100, chillest build i have ever done

The build work with only the ring nameless ? Because on t17, for work correctly you need the penance mark for spawn phantasm monster at same level on enemies monster ( and kill them easlier for explode them with DD ) right ? or it's self ignite ?
I tried doing one Simulacrum and wasn't able to kill my own Phantasms for some reason, so I never got an ignite of on Kosis.. I can kill T17 bosses without issue.
Fck.... I wrote long comment with his mistakes of his version of this build and accidentally closed the tab... In four words: Dont use this version. I can write again if you want it but in short: Defiled Forces and "Hits have 25% chance to treat Enemy Monster Elemental Resistance values as inverted" is 2 main dps nodes + Elemental Overload and never use support skills which decrease fire res. I saw many no brain players on poe ninja who used 25% chance to inverted with fire penetra or combustion... All u want is kill (mobs from penance mark or enemies) -> explode them with 500% of max life -> hit with inverted ressistance and watch the boss burn. With Defiled Forces, enemies will burn with strongest ignite forever.
Ran this build in affliction in a GSF environment. Was super powerful and didn't have to put out much effort to reach level 100. This league (GSF) I got my hands on a fulcrum to make a similar build and it was very underwhelming what exactly you get with the fulcrum. It's more like a QoL in my opinion but could be that I'm not in trade and was unable to unleash it's full potential. Anyway, going to be awesome to follow the journey as always!

Hey by the way if you want more dps in general there's a unique boots that gives you level 20 corpse walk so you can constantly keep procing your explosion effects.
I am mapping and leveling this now. Once i get to 95+ i will start doing ultis and what not. It feels good right now. What are the map mods we want to avoid, ele weakness, ele reflect, anti-regen? Anything else?

Hello Exailed Cat! I have a question about your skill tree. You have 2 master points that are confusing me. You're taking one that count you as full life while at 90% or above and a second one that count you as full life while at 55% life or below. Can you explain why? how does that work lol is it because of the petrified blood gem?

Made something similar. The new .15 fire spell on block shield with lucky block. Eye on innocence to make a cast on damage taken loop for an even bigger spell in chest.
Trying this build, the budget version and there's one thing I don't understand... Bloodmagic. How do you manage to use purity of fire and petrified blood with it?

I just got to act 5 and am not sure how you are not burning yourself to death with the righteous fire, any tips here? my health is just plummeting even with purity of elements on!
I considered doing ritual and then went with harbs. I made nothing from harbs (never juiced, just had them added as a side) when I got rituals a lot of times in a row, i would do it 2-3 times and ended up rerolling and getting a divine still had enough to lock it. so I quite literally made more from ritual without specing into it at all, than I did harbs where i had all the harb nodes in the atlas.
Harb is not something you just make money from added as a side mechanic like that. Some of the scarabs for it juice it up 100x what it normally drops, and it's pretty damn rare you'll see a fracturing shard without them. With them however it can be pretty decent.
@@davidmaltais2912 Depends how you count it. I was including # of harbs. That + regency and I bet it's closer to my number than yours, but I was probably exaggerating a little yes.

easy divines this league: send 2 verisium per ship to ngakanu ~15 stacked decks from 3 ships in 30 min. You get a 1 div for ~100 decks

You use penance mark only for a single target.

I tried doing one Simulacrum and wasn't able to kill my own Phantasms for some reason, so I never got an ignite of on Kosis.. I can kill T17 bosses without issue.
Yeah( I have about 100 div version of this build and still cant kill them. Sometimes you just skip simul if boss is alone and no mobs left
I made a CwS build last season, it's great. Kind of annoying if you don't have quite enough dps though.
Playing this since day one, the more comfortable and noob friendly build i've played ever.
How did you boost your damage? I have only 60k and dont know how to improve it.
Fck.... I wrote long comment with his mistakes of his version of this build and accidentally closed the tab... In four words: Dont use this version.
I can write again if you want it but in short: Defiled Forces and "Hits have 25% chance to treat Enemy Monster Elemental Resistance values as inverted" is 2 main dps nodes + Elemental Overload and never use support skills which decrease fire res. I saw many no brain players on poe ninja who used 25% chance to inverted with fire penetra or combustion...
All u want is kill (mobs from penance mark or enemies) -> explode them with 500% of max life -> hit with inverted ressistance and watch the boss burn. With Defiled Forces, enemies will burn with strongest ignite forever.

Ran this build in affliction in a GSF environment. Was super powerful and didn't have to put out much effort to reach level 100.
This league (GSF) I got my hands on a fulcrum to make a similar build and it was very underwhelming what exactly you get with the fulcrum. It's more like a QoL in my opinion but could be that I'm not in trade and was unable to unleash it's full potential.
Anyway, going to be awesome to follow the journey as always!
I'm just waiting for my first hit. Maybe I should do Ritual...

It's not a bug. You can't use them at the same time but you can just spam the ring ability it to overwrite Punishment.

Hi sir, I am in between of the budget and kinda the current build, what's the sequence you suggest to buy or upgrade? And what if the level is not close to 90, any passive could be gave up first? Thanks!
more levels is the best upgrade for this build. Just farm safe content for xp. if you are lvl 85 -> lvl 95 will be the best upgrade for you
Hey by the way if you want more dps in general there's a unique boots that gives you level 20 corpse walk so you can constantly keep procing your explosion effects.
detonate dead of scavenging doesn't work with this boots
if you need mana to cast when stunned how do you sustain?
I am mapping and leveling this now. Once i get to 95+ i will start doing ultis and what not. It feels good right now. What are the map mods we want to avoid, ele weakness, ele reflect, anti-regen? Anything else?
@@FlyCastNick not ele weakness...but minus max res, less recovery and reduced aura effect

DAng I'm rocking a similiar build in HC settlers sitting at lv 84 and nowhere near as strong XD. But hey the journey is fun one of the best builds I've tried

I have a question about your skill tree. You have 2 master points that are confusing me. You're taking one that count you as full life while at 90% or above and a second one that count you as full life while at 55% life or below.
Can you explain why? how does that work lol
is it because of the petrified blood gem?
in my current pob i use only 55% mastery and yes its for petrified blood

Made something similar. The new .15 fire spell on block shield with lucky block. Eye on innocence to make a cast on damage taken loop for an even bigger spell in chest.

One aura is link to blessing so no reservation and one aura reserved life.

@@patrol87 in my pob (pobb.in/QTxLM6-kWy2o) i have: determination + eternal bless and purity of fire and petr. blood. Determination = 0 reservation. purity of fire and petr. blood reserved life (and its ok if you aura reserved life in this build)
Ive been waiting almost 14 mins to realize that after a handfull of divs this is just a build for mapping.. you know just like 0 div roxic rain for example :D

I need a clarification, why DD of scavenging. Played this build the last 2 leagues with DD of chain reaction. Spawning corpses with desecrate.
@@euchre1o desecrate and corpses from player's skills was heavily nerfed in this patch. So scavenging is more dmg now
How can you run Purity of Fire if you have Eternal Blessing linked to Determination?
Eternal Blessing disable auras which reserved mana and my auras reserved life

A hit that would have stunned you will still stun you even if you block it

I considered doing ritual and then went with harbs. I made nothing from harbs (never juiced, just had them added as a side) when I got rituals a lot of times in a row, i would do it 2-3 times and ended up rerolling and getting a divine still had enough to lock it. so I quite literally made more from ritual without specing into it at all, than I did harbs where i had all the harb nodes in the atlas.
Harb is not something you just make money from added as a side mechanic like that. Some of the scarabs for it juice it up 100x what it normally drops, and it's pretty damn rare you'll see a fracturing shard without them. With them however it can be pretty decent.
