I pivoted towards this build as a new player (under 100hrs play time) that strictly followed Ziz's PoB for Bleed Glad and it felt phenomenal with what little investment I had to use. It was practically a free switch and you're awesome for sharing this!
I can confirm that this is a legit and very accessible build. Even before I bought a proper chest piece (4k-ish armor), the budget was well under 1div and I was comfortably facetanking guardians. Yes, of course you can die, but far less often than with "normal" builds. Speaking as someone not very gifted at footwork... Thank you, can't wait for the next awesome build from you!
at the point of me trying this, id say its a bit closer to 5 div, since people picked up on this.. but i still have to say that its amazing, anyone can grind out 5 div during a league and being able to do T17 on that is awesome. thank you!
Glad i could help , well if i wanted to redo it for 1 div i would say remove belt and shield and just go like the 1 div swordstorm build , its still possible to do it budget
the one point i always try to get is the armor and evasion mastery that gives immunity to bleed or poison depending on helmet has more armor or evasion, its worth the 2-3 points downt eh bottom of the tree instead of 2 point in life mastery to go next door and get increased armor and evasion and +14 resistances then you get the immunity to bleed or poison ,definitly worth the slight drop in HP but overall more EHP

You need to learn how to kill bosses that are like orchad , just stay away when she spawns minions let them hit you , her green balls are also good for blocking but don't try to block the chaos or fire degen , also her green laser should be avoided run away , you can kill her easily learn the fight and done
Yeah but no one was selling so i had to pay 10c for a flask and was not in budget so i skipped it but i don't feel ward breaks that much even when it breaks it restores in 1.4s due to suffix on gear but yeah getting it on block is also really nice
very nice, i already upgraded your swordstorm. think i spent around 15div. it is now Evicerate with 60m DPS with 500k EHP. Will finalize that one then create this build too.
Thank you for this build! I've been itching to try the new retaliate skills and this is perfect. I hated lacerate glad and I would have had a lot more fun if I did this instead. Anvil is a super cheap amulet so I was able to find a good double corrupted.

Looks very similar to my own gladiator to be honest. (and its good) i would pick another ascendency point rather than aggravated bleed, it's rather easy to get aggravted bleed instead than the ascendency point. you can get that with the boot (rising tempest) giving you auto aggravated when target has any sort of elemental ailment. After that you can get a megalomaniac on the cheap with just "enemies around you are chilled" and done, mine cost 15c. Or the Vinktar Flask, shocking nearby enemies. also helping with +5% max lightning res. Or another option since you have Svalinn, putting Shock nova with increase AoE (it's 100% shock rate), or any spell basically with garanteed Shock or Chill. Or using Skitterbots Or the ring that chill enemies you bleed, but then it's 2 Legendary slots making it harder to cap resists. I'd drop the Determination aura to be honest, 50% mana but half your torso is transformed into ward and your boots are also wards, giving relatively low utility to the build overall. i'm actually wondering if going full ward would not actually help you more, since you take like 1 hit every 10 or so, having maybe 1k ward would help mitigate a lot that hit. and it would be almost instantly up for the next hit you wont block. Skitterbot like mentioned, or tempest shield (helping cap block way faster probably helping liberate points for more damage on the tree) also it would help with shock for aggravated bleed, or Arctic armor for extra 20% fire/phys reduction when not moving, since your phys damage reduction is pretty low. having a mixed armor/eva on good base would give something like 2.5-3k to both armor+eva giving you also more ward overall than a single armor chest. The options to actually apply elemental ailment even when not caster are really multiple espcially with svalinn. you could get a 50% block base with ascendency or maybe 30% more damage mult when using axe and enemy is low life.
I really appreciate a guide that shows you can build on a budget and puts their money where their mouth is. I don’t play this game enough to make very many characters and “budget builds” that require 10 divines is a build ill never get to play
This one is a little more tanky if you manage to get 100% crit reduction also has more regen ward and more max res and does not need to hit multiple times just 1 hit and move around 5 secs then another
Hey man the annoint is recommended to be "no forgiveness" which is expensive but i did not use it and used a 2-3c cheap annointment for bleed but since you are jugg yep that annoint is very good choice
@@Dexykai it’s probably more strong build on gladiator as you initially made the build for, but what do you think of it on a jugg? Maybe i will just miss some attack block and miss some damages as i don’t have the gladiator ascendant tree.

On glad it already feels clunky with 70% chance , if i drop it to 20 oh my it will really bad , but i have no idea how ot feels on jugg it should be insanely tanky and you do wanna get aggrevate bleed on the enemies somehow (vulnerability tree points or gloves implicit)
@@Dexykai i’m armor capped: 90%, just to laugh i swapped pride once for determination, I had 160k armor 🤣 (90% is capped at around 55k) 4600 hp I took as much spell suppression/block and so on as possible following the guide but bought everything (so it’s way more expensive than yours, my axe itself is more than 200% phys dmgs I got it for like, 30 div haha) How would you upgrade the build with budget ? HH ? mageblood? Another belt ? Amulet ? Unique ring ?

How did you get those rare items that cheap? I am looking at poe trade for rares with similar stats but they are much more expensive. For example the rings and gloves.
Hey man , you don't need to search like me i always search what ever i want then i remove 1 mode and craft it myself that is how i can get good gear cheap , and if i am not getting 30 chaos res i go 25 , if i can't get chaos res on boots i go on gloves or other peices that is what rare items are you can shift the mods from 1 to other and get better gear

I would say they are kinda the same but the feel of them is different 1 shatters and hits hard the other does dot damage depends on player i like eviscerate bleed a little bit more

I was thinking of transisioning to your Swordstorm one but i just recalibrated a lacerate of heamorrhage build into a smash of them both with this one, although i dont really know what am doing, just messing in the PoB. So far all seems awesome! Although i have a question if it happens to you sometimes: Do you randomly get one shot by something or did i mess up something in my build? I just imported my character to a copy of you PoB after making the changes to see if all matched and it seems to be accurate. Damage seems better than ever, survivability awesome except those few instances. If i could get any insight it would be awesome.

just saw your build and got curious about some specific boss fight for example maven. If I used Penance Mark instead, will it be manageable? cuz I heard that retaliation build is kinda tricky when facing specific bosses. nc build btw.
I killed maven with out penance mark just takes a little longer with this damage and you need to be very good with memory game or you will die once or twice just because of that , anything else is manageable and i do not recommend farming maven with 1 divine version if its for voidstone kill her once and be done with it
Try the skills first and see ehich one you prefer buy it from vendor and go to act 5 or any area and try them at same time then you can decide which one you like the most and go for it , i liked the evicerate bleed much more
Well you also have the endgame video as well so it's on you , try the playstyle in leveling if you did not enjoy it (have max block) drop it it is not for you , thanks for watching
I don't really do any kind of strat don't have time to play normally , i just need 1 or 2 divine to do my content , my atlass is just all map modifiers to make the map as juiced as possible to have a higher dificulty to showcase , and with 7 divine you can get the gear , the shield and belt got expensive after some videos about them but you should be fine

@@Dexykai about 1.5 div and had a few spare parts from my original bleed build. I think I messed up somewhere cause the specific boss at t16 glacier just one shot me with it's leap slam. I'm going to try to push for 36 challenge with this build. It's great for farming and bossing.
Nice video! I watched your other 1 Div and 5 Div Sword storm build not too long ago and was interested in making it, however, now that you made this video I'm interested to know something. Would you consider this build better at overall mapping and bossing than the other one? Obviously I would say this is more Tanky because of Ward but what about the damage? (also is POB damage accurate this time? I remember seeing you say the POB damage wasn't accurate for the Swordstorm build) I'm interested to hear your thoughts on that.
Damage can be scaled much better on this one you have 3.8 mil dps with jack axe and after 100 seconds it gets doubled so if gou craft a very good axe you will deal insane damage can reach more than 30 mil dps
Well if you wanna upgrade this build you need to search how to craft physical weapons ! And then the suffix mods need to be damage over time multi and phys damage over time multi and maybe att speed (att speed inc the animation speed)

Would this one perform better/faster than the Swordstorm build? I kinda like the swordstorm cause its practically immortal. Got to simulacrum 12 with the 5div version on lvl 80 lol and the only reason i couldnt keep going is cause i was doing no damage to one of the bosses and we were fighting for like 5 minuites with nobody dying 😅 I do want to try something that doesnt rely on being hit though but still can facetank most of the content and potentially do t17 with speed
Well this is the same as swordstorm but might be a little better since its dot damage , want to do t17 without retal , hm i will make content on that but its not ready yet since i was busy with the hexblast miner also hexblast miners are really strong builds insanely good but better follow a guide that is some kinda trickster or has decent defense mine has no defense at all just pure damage that melts anything in screen and they can't even get close to me
@@Dexykai i saw the hexblast... im not really a fan of the mine playstyle. Kinda got burned out few leagues back. I would really like to see something good on maps and descent bosser for like 1, 5 and 10div budget. Like i said - i loved the swordstorm build but at times it felt like im just sitting there waiting for monsters to trigger me. Not to mention sometimes my attack gets interrupted or something and i kinda just die

My first real playthrough of PoE and I'm using no guide besides like looking up mechanics I'm not familiar with and my passive tree looks very similar to yours so I think I'm doing things somewhat right haha
Was gonna ask if your up for the challenge of bleed flicker strike 😂. I think you can pull it off and add on a clip of ben affleck saying "Do you bleed?"
Bleed flicker ? Well let's not mix things up flicker is really good at fast hitting but the hits are really small due to not having that much damage effectiveness on the other hand something like eviscerate has really high damage effecriveness and really slow hits per second so it is good for bleed , but you might be able to play poison with flicker
DOT will always be a problem i suppose xD ~Nice build tho ! I made the swordstorm and it did wonders. but made so much currency with that one i upped my build to bleed Lacerate xD
Dot playstyle , move around hit every 5 to 6 seconds move around , bleed pops , better clearing , consistant damage , if you get 100 crit reduction it is a bit more tanky , and in the end i like those 2 big slashy waves much more , so i rank it 1 and the sword rank 2 on 1 div budget
Yes, "One Divine" is a bait title. The rates fluctuate, demand drives prices up as the builds often use t1 or t0 rarity uniques or require specific rolls. So usually the promise of "one divine! trust me bro.", doesnt hold true. I am so happy that isnt the case here. Given the overall common nature of the uniques here except maybe svalinn. But even that one is still fairly cheap. This build is probably the best budget friendly starters in general and certainly the most cost efficient "true" melee ive played. FB and LS slayer are great, but require more investment to pull ahead of this one.

Wow I actually made a build almost exactly like yours. I have Ryslatha's Coil and awakened gems, EHP is 266k . Can do T17's but not juiced, get one shot still. Need to figure out way to stop one shots, maybe Progenesis...
Does Svalinn - max block chance not stuck with Versatile Combatant? And any way how the hell its 80 chance to block in pob, looks like something wrong here.
They do stack but its not needed to get the max roll on it we just want the lucky block value , nothing is wrong ! The pob calculates the final block number ( lucky means will roll twice to get the desired mode , for example if you have 55% chance to block spells from the character stats in game that means you will have 45% chance not to block but rolling twice so 0.45 × 0.45 = 0.2025 , that is the chance for you not to block so your block will be 1- 0.2025 then the game which will be ~ 79% valid block chance hope this helps you to undrestand
No not HC viable , i am not a HC player , this build is not mitigating damage very well so i do not recommend it for HC , if you wanna play HC better to search in poe ninja and see what did they do
I have a question: do I always have to wait for the monsters to attack me to activate the abilities? How is the gameplay for monsters that don't trigger retaliation?
Hey man ,You need to look for something that does or you skip the mob and go , the rotation of skills is also important to activate each other without being hit

playing this now, almost identical gear, its strong, i cant figure out with same nodes and gear why my block chances arent 80s like your in pob, in my pob mine are 54/58

Very nice build, I like it a LOT. Would like to see a follow up on how to upgrade it. That said there is one tiny thing I struggle with. And that is the amber trees. Once activated mobs don't hit me any more and my skills don't activate, which results and the tree takiing a lot of damage. Shield charge is not enough for damage. Anyone has an ideas how to solve it?

I recomend you to use the non unique potion of ward, that restores ward and icrease maximum ward. With recover on block and some shxt

This one is a little more tanky if you manage to get 100% crit reduction also has more regen ward and more max res and does not need to hit multiple times just 1 hit and move around 5 secs then another

Hey man the annoint is recommended to be "no forgiveness" which is expensive but i did not use it and used a 2-3c cheap annointment for bleed but since

@@Dexykai it’s probably more strong build on gladiator as you initially made the build for, but what do you think of it on a jugg? Maybe i will just miss some attack block and miss some damages as i don’t have the gladiator ascendant tree.

On glad it already feels clunky with 70% chance , if i drop it to 20 oh my it will really bad , but i have no idea how ot feels on jugg it should be insanely tanky and you do wanna get aggrevate bleed on the enemies somehow (vulnerability tree points or gloves implicit)
@@Dexykai i’m armor capped: 90%, just to laugh i swapped pride once for determination, I had 160k armor 🤣 (90% is capped at around 55k) 4600 hp I took as much spell suppression/block and so on as possible following the guide but bought everything (so it’s way more expensive than yours, my axe itself is more than 200% phys dmgs I got it for like, 30 div haha)
How would you upgrade the build with budget ? HH ? mageblood? Another belt ? Amulet ? Unique ring ?

How did you get those rare items that cheap? I am looking at poe trade for rares with similar stats but they are much more expensive. For example the rings and gloves.
Hey man , you don't need to search like me i always search what ever i want then i remove 1 mode and craft it myself that is how i can get good gear cheap , and if i am not getting 30 chaos res i go 25 , if i can't get chaos res on boots i go on gloves or other peices that is what rare items are you can shift the mods from 1 to other and get better gear

I was thinking of transisioning to your Swordstorm one but i just recalibrated a lacerate of heamorrhage build into a smash of them both with this one, although i dont really know what am doing, just messing in the PoB. So far all seems awesome! Although i have a question if it happens to you sometimes: Do you randomly get one shot by something or did i mess up something in my build? I just imported my character to a copy of you PoB after making the changes to see if all matched and it seems to be accurate. Damage seems better than ever, survivability awesome except those few instances. If i could get any insight it would be awesome.

just saw your build and got curious about some specific boss fight for example maven. If I used Penance Mark instead, will it be manageable? cuz I heard that retaliation build is kinda tricky when facing specific bosses. nc build btw.
I killed maven with out penance mark just takes a little longer with this damage and you need to be very good with memory game or you will die once or twice just because of that , anything else is manageable and i do not recommend farming maven with 1 divine version if its for voidstone kill her once and be done with it

Try the skills first and see ehich one you prefer buy it from vendor and go to act 5 or any area and try them at same time then you can decide which one you like the most and go for it , i liked the evicerate bleed much more

I don't really do any kind of strat don't have time to play normally , i just need 1 or 2 divine to do my content , my atlass is just all map modifiers to make the map as juiced as possible to have a higher dificulty to showcase , and with 7 divine you can get the gear , the shield and belt got expensive after some videos about them but you should be fine

I think I messed up somewhere cause the specific boss at t16 glacier just one shot me with it's leap slam. I'm going to try to push for 36 challenge with this build. It's great for farming and bossing.

Nice video! I watched your other 1 Div and 5 Div Sword storm build not too long ago and was interested in making it, however, now that you made this video I'm interested to know something. Would you consider this build better at overall mapping and bossing than the other one? Obviously I would say this is more Tanky because of Ward but what about the damage? (also is POB damage accurate this time? I remember seeing you say the POB damage wasn't accurate for the Swordstorm build) I'm interested to hear your thoughts on that.
Damage can be scaled much better on this one you have 3.8 mil dps with jack axe and after 100 seconds it gets doubled so if gou craft a very good axe you will deal insane damage can reach more than 30 mil dps
Yes pob damage for this build is accurate since we are not crit anymore

Well if you wanna upgrade this build you need to search how to craft physical weapons ! And then the suffix mods need to be damage over time multi and phys damage over time multi and maybe att speed (att speed inc the animation speed)

Would this one perform better/faster than the Swordstorm build? I kinda like the swordstorm cause its practically immortal. Got to simulacrum 12 with the 5div version on lvl 80 lol and the only reason i couldnt keep going is cause i was doing no damage to one of the bosses and we were fighting for like 5 minuites with nobody dying 😅
I do want to try something that doesnt rely on being hit though but still can facetank most of the content and potentially do t17 with speed
Well this is the same as swordstorm but might be a little better since its dot damage , want to do t17 without retal , hm i will make content on that but its not ready yet since i was busy with the hexblast miner also hexblast miners are really strong builds insanely good but better follow a guide that is some kinda trickster or has decent defense mine has no defense at all just pure damage that melts anything in screen and they can't even get close to me
@@Dexykai i saw the hexblast... im not really a fan of the mine playstyle. Kinda got burned out few leagues back. I would really like to see something good on maps and descent bosser for like 1, 5 and 10div budget. Like i said - i loved the swordstorm build but at times it felt like im just sitting there waiting for monsters to trigger me. Not to mention sometimes my attack gets interrupted or something and i kinda just die

I got all the same uniques on my build and get all block nodes from tree...
Pob calculates it! Your max black is 55 and 58 that is correct , go in poe wiki search for "lucky" then you will undresrand

It's a pity there is no step-by-step leveling of the character tree on the acts...I haven't played on mile builds since League 3.5

Was gonna ask if your up for the challenge of bleed flicker strike 😂. I think you can pull it off and add on a clip of ben affleck saying "Do you bleed?"
Bleed flicker ? Well let's not mix things up flicker is really good at fast hitting but the hits are really small due to not having that much damage effectiveness on the other hand something like eviscerate has really high damage effecriveness and really slow hits per second so it is good for bleed , but you might be able to play poison with flicker

Dot playstyle , move around hit every 5 to 6 seconds move around , bleed pops , better clearing , consistant damage , if you get 100 crit reduction it is a bit more tanky , and in the end i like those 2 big slashy waves much more , so i rank it 1 and the sword rank 2 on 1 div budget
Yes, "One Divine" is a bait title. The rates fluctuate, demand drives prices up as the builds often use t1 or t0 rarity uniques or require specific rolls. So usually the promise of "one divine! trust me bro.", doesnt hold true.
I am so happy that isnt the case here. Given the overall common nature of the uniques here except maybe svalinn. But even that one is still fairly cheap.
This build is probably the best budget friendly starters in general and certainly the most cost efficient "true" melee ive played. FB and LS slayer are great, but require more investment to pull ahead of this one.

Retal skills are attacks ,no other skill is used beside shield charging

Wow I actually made a build almost exactly like yours. I have Ryslatha's Coil and awakened gems, EHP is 266k . Can do T17's but not juiced, get one shot still. Need to figure out way to stop one shots, maybe Progenesis...

Use twink leveling gear , spectral wolf enchanted weapons + look at list of unique shields there is 1 called lycosidae then you are good to go

If you put lacerate on the same gear as this you will deal very small amount of damage
Does Svalinn - max block chance not stuck with Versatile Combatant? And any way how the hell its 80 chance to block in pob, looks like something wrong here.
They do stack but its not needed to get the max roll on it we just want the lucky block value , nothing is wrong ! The pob calculates the final block number ( lucky means will roll twice to get the desired mode , for example if you have 55% chance to block spells from the character stats in game that means you will have 45% chance not to block but rolling twice so 0.45 × 0.45 = 0.2025 , that is the chance for you not to block so your block will be 1- 0.2025 then the game which will be ~ 79% valid block chance hope this helps you to undrestand

No not HC viable , i am not a HC player , this build is not mitigating damage very well so i do not recommend it for HC , if you wanna play HC better to search in poe ninja and see what did they do

I have a question: do I always have to wait for the monsters to attack me to activate the abilities? How is the gameplay for monsters that don't trigger retaliation?
Hey man ,You need to look for something that does or you skip the mob and go , the rotation of skills is also important to activate each other without being hit

Just any shield is okay you can go high rolls if you want but not needed

It has a formula , you need lucky block chance and need to be block capped

Very nice build, I like it a LOT. Would like to see a follow up on how to upgrade it.
That said there is one tiny thing I struggle with. And that is the amber trees. Once activated mobs don't hit me any more and my skills don't activate, which results and the tree takiing a lot of damage. Shield charge is not enough for damage. Anyone has an ideas how to solve it?

Gives you decent amount of ward based on your chest so it is a very very good defensive layer
