Friends: what did you do yesterday evening? Me: whatched some ppl flabergasting over Floor again.. Friends: again, get a life Me: this what live for.. ❤
Sounds like my life 🤣 I don't care either. I'm searching for Nightwish reactions every day. I was there at Wacken in 2013. Still one of the best days of my life. Seeing this again and people getting Floorgasms never gets old 😏
Charlie's inability to hide his joy and excitement in the first few seconds alone is pure gold. And the "you have no idea" is what we're all thinking every time someone reacts for the first time to Nightwish with Floor Janse, it's such a joy. Better continue watching now xD
Hello Nicole [ Nicole Maria Sings ] ! Nightwish fan here, your musical quest summoned me. Welcome to the world of symphonic metal! And thank you (and Charlie) for checking this legendary band! This live recording is from Wacken Open Air 2013, together with Floor Jansen [pronounced Yansen], the 3rd and present female singer of the band, in front of an 82K audience. About the instrumental and vocal added parts - it's good to know they recorded their orchestral and vocal back tracks with prestigious institutions as London Philharmonic Orchestra. London's The Metro Voices choir group and London's Young Musicians Children's Choir as their regular partners. Since this is your first Nightwish reaction, it is my duty to give you the [updated] short history of the band concentrated by Ann Waychoff, one of the biggest Nightwish fan who has since passed away (and I am doing this in her memory): " Nightwish was started in 1996.They are considered a Symphonic Metal band, with a female main singer. They are from Finland. Tuomas Holopainen [pronounced Tuo-mas], the keyboard player, composes and writes the lyrics for 95% of their music. [Sami Vanska was the bassist of the band starting with their 2nd studio album, he was with them until 2001. Then Marco Hietala was bassist and vocals, since 2001 to 2020. He recently announced his retirement both from the band and the public life for the next year at least. Then in May 2021 Jukka Koskinen [pronounced Yukka] became the bassist of the band, for the Human :II: Nature tour - and recently, the band announced he became a permanent member] And there is the guitarist Emppu Vuorinen [he also recorded the bass lines for their 1st studio album]. Then there is Troy Donockley from UK who is a multi-instrumentalist and vocals. Jukka Nevalainen [pronounced Yukka] is the drummer. In 2015 due to Jukka's health issues Kai Hahto became the drummer and as of now is a permanent addition. Nightwish has had three singers. 1st one was Tarja Turunen [pronounced Tarr-ya] (Operatic vocals). She was with them until 2005. The 2nd one was Anette Olzon from Sweden (Poppy, strong vocals). She was with them until 2012.The 3rd and current singer is Floor Jansen, from Netherlands (power, operatic, soprano.....most versatile) - you just heard her. There are live concerts that you should use depending on what era. From Wishes to Eternity and End of an Era (Tarja), Montreux Festival live 2012 and Exit Festival (Anette), Live at Wacken 2013, Live at Wembley, Live at Tampere, Vehicle of Spirit, Decades live (Floor). I hope this helps. I want to welcome you to the Nightwish community. I hope you like them enough to continue the journey. Believe me Nightwish will surprise you with their songs. You will never know what to expect. They are unbelievable live. I want to warn you that Nightwish fans are hard core. So be prepared. lol " For an extended set of suggestion (with links), I posted 2 huge comments in the community tab in my main YT channel: www.youtube.com/@gabriel.bardac/community 🤘
Hey GB, just a quick check/FYI. Seen this astonishing GLS tutorial? --> "How to Sing 'Ghost Love Score' by NIGHTWISH - Floor Jansen Voice ANALYSIS AND TUTORIAL" 🤘
@BOOMBiggityBam The sad thing is the music studios wants noting but to get their hands on Floors recordings to "pitch correct" aka maul the song. Right now, the music studios are basically the the true enemy of good music.
the heartfelt "Jesus Christ" before the end sequence made my day! Wonderful reaction! also definitely react to Epica "Sancta Terra" feat. Floor in the same format
I second Epica "Sancta Terra" ft. Floor. As well as plenty of songs to check out with Nightwish, you expressed intrigue and joy at the discovery of symphonic metal, so Epica is another great one to check out. And watching Simone sing with Floor...well, what can I say...bliss 🥰
I watched that 15 min mark over 10 times. The look in her eyes, she got it. She felt it. I literally enjoy seeing others emotions brought out by Nightwish. It makes the world that much better of a place. Looking forward to your next reaction. You have a subscriber.
At the climax of Floor's performance; Floor holds up her hand, open and out to the audience. She holds their focus. She holds them to the end then sends it all back to them. That was magic. In the end, she directs it all the the band. That is grace.
OMG, I am so excited to hear your thoughts on this one! I really hope you like this band and their singer. I know Charlie will fill you in on them all. I really hope you continue your Nightwish journey! I'm here for all of it!!! I'm sooooo looking forward to this premiere! Blessings to you both from a humble member of the Nightwish Army, Alabama division🤘🏻❤
Hi, Nicole, 74 years old hippie from the Netherlands =Floor, Irene, Simone, Anneke, Dianne, Charlotte, Sharon, Marcella, Joost (LUL) & Arjen (Ayreon) Country= reporting in: There are a lot of Singers/Musicians who are important for the Music Industry (SALES) and there are Singers/Musicians, NOT A LOT, who are important for The Music History, as an ART ... That's where you find FLOOR & Nightwish !!! Shine on Nicole ... 🤘
@@alexandersomers21 Troy is from Wokington, Cumbria, quite close to North Wales, sounds like he's doing a bit more Welsh in "Hiraeth" (Longing)! "Cerddwch gyda mi ychydig Wrth gilfach y bywyd hwn", (instead of "Walk with me a while, by this creek of life"!). With a lovely triumphant Emppu riff.
@@NikolettaOfficial Amazing stuff, like when she stunned the Dutch tv audience with her performance of Franz Lehár's "Vilja Lied" in a show called "Beste Zangers" (best or "dear" singers, not a competition) --> "Floor Jansen - Vilja Lied (2019) + intro and outro (With eng subtitles)". You'll love it!
I constantly find myself thinking that after singing the last line, Flor could have simply dropped the microphone and walked off stage. That was absoluetly a knockout!
@@ЕвгенийГусев-ч8х that ending from Floor and band is a proof of them appreciating their audiense. Giving them and themselves too time to just jam, dance and enjoy after this masterpiece. Cant end song in live performanse much better than that 😍😍
@ЕвгенийГусев-ч8х Well, maybe she would, though I very much doubt it. But anyways she couldn’t. The crowd gave her so much energy back from just this performance alone, that she had to drain at least part of that off with some good head-banging after she was done. You can clearly see this. More than enough energy left, there, so why leave? Plus, you wouldn’t be Floor when you would just leave. So, there’s that.
It needs to be mentioned that Ghost Love Score was the thirteenth song in a fifteen song set. She belted that song out after giving her all for 1:10 minutes to that point.
I discovered Nightwish about 10 months ago with this very live performance of Ghost Love Score. I listen to this multiple times a week, sometimes multiple times a day and I usually end up watching a few reaction videos every week on top of that. I don’t think I can ever get tired of this song. I feel sad though, that it took me until 2023 to discover this band. So good!
The new album is available on their channel... Floor sings. words. really. fast. (but not rap!). Her vocalise is divine, makes me melt and watery eyed.
I think you’ll love Nightwish. So glad that Charlie introduced you to them. I’ve spent so much time studying Floor & trying to learn from her performances. She’s an incredible vocalist. xx
Nice reaction, pity about the sound. Subbed for more Nightwish ❤ That Buenos Aires 2012 performance Charlie was talking about is more emotional for me, because it was the first time I was 100% sure that they had found the best possible singer after Anette. Floor had been 2 months in the band. That ending note there has so much power...and the video captured everything perfectly. And the Argentine audience is just amazing (Floor, Floor, Floor chants at the end, singing along with Emppu's solo etc). Performance itself is not better, just different and more raw I think.
@NightwishArena I agree, I think we got a mix of the music audio track from both reactors, with the music video and 1 of the audio tracks slightly delayed in the UA-cam video. The effect was weird at times.
@@NightwishArena I get where you’re coming from. I think that the best version of Phantom of the Opera is Nightwish’s performance at Ziggo Dome 2023. But that is probably because I was actually there. Your first exposure to it will form your opinion.
Floor is Floor... and Floor does Floor things, and as wonderful as Floor is (and she is!), I think we all should take a moment to appreciate Tuomas, the Metal Mozart, for giving us this wonderful piece of music. Whether you're a Tarja fan, a Floor fan, or both... none of it would exist without the genius of Tuomas. Just imagine sitting at a piano with some paper and a pencil... and this is what you create. Everytime I think about it, my mind is blown... over and over. How lucky are we all that these two found each other? Since Tuomas wrote this for Tarja, you should probably have her listen to Shoemaker next... to give a reaction to a song Tuomas specifically wrote for Floor to sing...
Thank you for your superb review. Your gentil reaction is so matching the way Floor and Nightwish is. All the band members are humble, they put the music first.
This song is an emotional rollercoaster. Really hits my sinuses watching and listening to you guys. It's not just the music, but watching other people genuinely enjoy the music is really moving. I also like hearing about how the voice works, it's fascinating for me.
Very nice to see another real expert join the Nightwish-army (because you might not know it yet, but that is going to happen). One thing though, I have never heart Yukka hit the drums this fast before and I have heart this performance a gazillion times (you will need to get rid of the echo). Looking forward to see your next Nightwish reaction.
Love to heard professionals classic Opera singers who tell how to many technic systems and difficult is understand singer. I love yours comments and i love y both. Greetins from Finland 🇫🇮 ❤(sorry my bad english)
please watch Floor Jansen and Henk Poort perform Phantom......Henk has played the Phantom countless times on stage but never quite like this. And Floor as Christine is freaking amazing. Another wonder performance is on her channel of Ave Maria. Simply beautiful!
Another soul snatched by the Valkyrie Goddess. Floor belongs on the Mt Rushmore of Vocalist.....the most versatile singer on the planet Nicole you would love After Forever Floors 1st band , she does alot of classical singing
Loving the collab with Charlie. You both compliment each other so well (the reaction to Ren's Jenny & Screech trilogy was profound for Charlie, and I can tell this one got you mega excited to do metal). Depending on your schedules, I hope to see more "firsts and seconds" with the two of you. Side note: not sure how you feel about watching other reaction channels, but The Charismatic Voice did an interview recently with Floor and it is AWESOME! Long, but awesome. Something to check out if you want a recent deep dive into her mind.
Thank you, Charlie, for introducing everyone to Nightwish. I loved watching you two watching and giving your experienced discussion. It's always wonderful to hear different perspectives on the magic.
I really really loved the reaction of you both, and it's so nice to show an other professional the extraordinary qualities of Floor Jansen and Nightwish. Greetings from the Netherlands.
every time Floor sings this song the ending is always different, she just has the quality to do this and the fans and band members are always amazed.🤟🏻🤟🏻
Originally Floor was sent by Allfather Odhinn to Midgard to gather the souls of fallen warriors to Valhalla, but she got distracted and joined a series of bands. However, Floor still gathers souls by her grace, beauty and the sheer power of her vocals. We give thanks for her at our Blots regularly and hope that Odhinn won't notice that she has never returned to Asgard. ALL HAIL THE VALKYRIE GODDESS!!! The Nightwish Army is incoming! You're not ready! Nightwish Army Central Florida Black Company reporting for duty!
What the actual? Someone in YT actually pronounced Tuomas Holopainen pretty much as correctly as it can be? I'm impressed. Nah. I've listened NW over a 20 years, nothing impresses me anymore. :P Seriously, check out Greatest Show On Earth and another huge band from frozen northern pagan wastes Amorphis.
I totally agree with you. When I heard it live I couldn’t help myself, I cried my eyes out. Her vocals really gets to me and Tuomas really knows how to use her voice in the most beautiful ways.
Thank you Charlie. So wonderful to meet Nicole Maria. Obviously another ultra talented musician. This song was late night over an hour into this intense metal festival set. I have a strong feeling the Nicole Maria could pull off this epic song.
I've seen a number of Charlie's reactions, but I've never seen Nikoletta before, and I just have to say that "I may have just found my calling" is one of the most fun and beautiful things I have heard in weeks ❣
Hi Nicole. Many will comment on your reaction and express their gratitude for giving Nightwish (and Floor) a listen. However, not many will tell you something that will absolutely get you excited to jump into and react, and that is that Floor herself did a reaction video to this performance and breaks down her feelings about how and why she chose to perform this song this way. Please react to the video and take a glimpse inside the mind of one of the world's greatest voices. You will also see Floor get a bit emotional at the end as she expresses her feelings about the ending of the song. Hope to see your reaction. ua-cam.com/video/QW_3F186_5Q/v-deo.htmlsi=L3qlqElUUIjeeI1t Enjoy! Thank you for the video, reaction and comments. Stay safe and stay blessed. 😊❤️🤘🤘
I love your charm and charisma - heard this song a million times but just loved watching your expressions and dynamics - It was clear - you get this... this magic!! THanks Charlie for changing Nicole's world for the better - and hopefully sparked a new career in symphonic metal!!
When you want to go further on the path of our 1.83m (6ft.+) tall Dutch Valkyrie Queen Floor Jansen besides Nightwish, here is some background information on the best and most versitale female singer of our time. Floor joined the band 'After Forever' in 1997 at the age of 16. Here are some of my favourites: ‘Energize me’; Monolith of Doubt’ and Dreamflight’. Floor attended the then new Rock Academy in 1999 and graduated in 2003. She also studied 2 years at the Conservatory (1 year Music Theatre and 1 year Opera). 'After Forever' disbanded in 2009 and Floor started her own band 'Revamp' from scratch. Here she experimented with different vocal styles within one song from full operatic to death growls in seconds. Here are some examples: ‘Misery’s no Crime’, ‘Wild card’ and ‘Disdain’. Besides managing a band on her own she also did a lot of vocal coaching and as she is a perfectionist, she wants to do everything at 100%+. Eventually she had to pay the price and got a burnout. She had just recovered when end of september 2012 the call came from Nightwish to fill in for the remainder of the North American Tour at first as their second singer Annette got ill. Floor had just 48 hours to learn the whole setlist. There is a documentary made of this world tour: ‘Please learn the setlist in 48 hours’ Floor joined Nightwish after this iconic Wacken concert in 2013 as permanent member of the band. Floor continued to perform with 'Revamp’ also, but it was clear that she could not combine the two for much longer, so 'Revamp' disbanded in 2016. Floor did a side project called 'Northward' where she dived into the Hard Rock scene. The song 'While Love Died is a must see. Her stunning performances on the Dutch TV show 'Beste Zangers 2019' gave her at last some more recognition in her home country where she was relatively unknown until then. There are numerous guest appearances with other bands to find on UA-cam. To see how to get a crowd of metalheads silenced and in awe watch her featuring with the band 'Epica' and the song 'Stabat Mater Dolorosa’ and to see her in full opera mode, watch her rendition of 'O Mio Babbino Caro' from Puccini. As live concerts were cancelled and home isolation due to the Covid situation, Floor discovered UA-cam in these years. Mindblowing covers, chats with her idols and other singers, vocal masterclasses, personal insights and so much more. She even made a video reacting to herself singing Ghost Love Score at Wacken. Lots of technical info and some memories of her starting with Nightwish. Also her Fan Friday videos are hilarious. Just unpack some of these and other presents she left on her channel. Also videos of her solotour she did with songs of her impressive career. Her latest endeavour is her stunning solo album ‘My Paragon. Floor is a high sensitive person, so peace and quiet is as important for her. Living by the woods in Sweden with her husband Hannes Van Dahl (drummer of the band Sabaton), daughters Freja (turns 8 years next march) and Lucy (1 year this october),a couple of horses, dogs and cats, she found this.
This WAS originally a Tarja Turunen song. The best Tarja performance of it was on the End of an Era DVD (2005) at Hartwall Arena in Helsinki. Floor added the now famous Floorgasmic ending.
Wanted to write that too :-) Floor has made this song so much her own that the original version with Tarja is not very well known now. But it's definitely worth hearing.
Hearing a more double bass Jukka heavy version of this actually gave me a smile and gave me a bit symphonic thrash metal vibes. As a 50 yr old Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax, and Metallica fan, it gave me the jig 4 live vibes. Like having Dave Lombardo drumming for Nightwish. Imagine that. As a Nightwish fan, I've heard this live version maybe a few hundred, if not thousands of times. Your (and Charlie's) reaction and analysis is what kept me here. Well done!
You gave this reaction the well deserved time to analyse, they're the GOATs and she's the Queen, they deserve more acknowledge and every time people like you do videos like these that is achieved more and more, continue doing reactions to their songs and their Army will come and come and see them.... keep rocking and stay safe...
Nicole, as you dive down the Nightwish rabbit hole (which you should do), also consider taking in the band Epica. It, too, is symphonic metal. The frontwoman is Simone Simmons, like Floor a Dutch vocalist. Simone and Floor are good friends and sang together in Epica's 10 year anniversary concert - Retrospect. As an opera singer I'm sure you know Stabat Mater Dolorosa. In the retrospect concert Simone and Floor did a duet of that song which is quite beautiful. Floor also joined her in Sancta Terra which is a wonderful, fun song. Stabat Mater Dolorosa: ua-cam.com/video/nhtOORYTGx8/v-deo.htmlsi=gpNm_dIFoQx0mMbr Sancta Terra: ua-cam.com/video/cx22Yuj2nzg/v-deo.htmlsi=53cEW5654yzhdtYr To round out the intro to Epica, please react to their song Once Upon a Nightmare. I think you will truly love hearing Simone's vocals, and Isaac's guitar work is stunning in that song. Once Upon a Nightmare: ua-cam.com/video/oseRJV0iEJs/v-deo.htmlsi=cab5Oih8Zognm9MQ For Nightwish, the catalog is vast, but Song of Myself and Poet and the Pendulum are my all time favorites, and I'm sure you will love them. I'm sure the links are in Gabriel's list. Enjoy the journey!
Floor Jansen has her own UA-cam channel, which has a collection of videos from various points in her career, including covers of various songs from like best Zangers show, the German version of the same show plus some others she recorded one from the Frozen, and a cover of Heart‘s Alone
I said the first time I watched a reaction to this, years and years ago. I believe it Elizabeth, of the “The Charismatic Voice” here on YT, she doesn’t have lungs. But a portal that just makes more air appear at need.
Hello Nicole Maria, welcome into the wonderful world of storytelling by Nightwish and their incredeble female singer Floor Jansen. Although the band is Finnish, their 3rd singer is not, she is Dutch, lives with her husband Hannes van Dahl, the drummer of the band Sabaton and their two daughters in Sweden. Floor was born on Februari 21st, 1981 in Goirle the Netherlands. At the age of 16 she started her career (initially) just as the background singer from the Dutch metal band ‘After Forever’ in 1997, but real soon she took over the lead until early 2009 and the band fell apart. Parallel she studied at the Dutch Rock Academy in Tilburg starting in 1999 where she graduated in 2003 and spent two years on classical training with the National Conservatory. She studied Musical Theatre and one year Opera. She plays guitar, piano and flute and has completed 12 years of music studies. She’s a Light Lyric Soprano and her vocalrange runs from E3 to D6. In addition to her activities at After Forever, she gave singing lessons. On May 5, 2010, she presented her new band ‘ReVamp’, which was disbanded in September 2016. In August 2010 Jansen was a guest in the TV program De tiende van Tijl. In that program she sang an aria by Puccini. From October 1, 2012 (while she was within ReVamp, but recovering from a burnout) Floor replaced Anette Olzon as the singer of Nightwish halfway their Imaginaerum World Tour. After one year (shortly after the Wacken Open Air festival concert 2013) on October 9th 2013, it was announced that she was to become the group's regular new front singer. Is this real live? If you’ll have any doubts watch this: ua-cam.com/video/6qDrKoZ62wQ/v-deo.html the evolution of Ghost Love Score. Nightwish, After Forever and ReVamp worked under the same Nuclear Blast record label. Tuomas and Floor know each other since August 20th, 2002 when Nightwish played in a sold-out and swelteringly hot “Hof Ter Lo” in Antwerp with After Forever and Charon as support act. Watching all the joy and excitement, Nicole, was incredible. The "Jesus Christ" at the climax was epic. Ghost Love Score is the opening/gateway for many to the rabbit hole of Nightwish. Tuomas, Floor, Emppu, Jukka (both drummer and bass player) Marco (is a past member), Kai, Troy and the past members, it was like the universe aligned perfectly for all of them and us. They are all perfect in their roles and at their craft. I beseech you, fall down the rabbit hole and discover one of the greatest groups to grace existence.
Well that was great fun watching 2 classical educated singers going bananas hearing our beloved Valkyrie Goddess of Metal and Empathy and her Brothers 😊❤ 😇 Next one, Dead Boy's Poem or the Poet, from Revamp the song Disdain 🎵. Any song with the Goddess ❤😇😇 is 👍.
I'd absolutely love to see you and Charlie react to some more Nightwish. I think your in-depth commentary is excellent, and it works well kinda "letting it play" the first time around for a pure reaction, and then diving into it deeper and going through it in more details. I think Charlie would make a great guide for your experience, as he will have a good idea of what will excite you as a singer, and guide you to those performances. Kind Regards from the UK.
Nightwish fan and new subscriber here. I'm glad you enjoyed listening to Nightwish. They are an amazing band and I look forward to following your journey as you continue to explore their music.
Great reaction.👏Thanks Charlie for introducing Nicole to our community. Nicole, you’re going to love exploring the Nightwish catalogue and these talented musicians. 🎵 They have a song for every emotion, any mood or occasion. Enjoy!
Well, that was special, TWO opera singers! Charlie made a separate channel to explain this song! I noticed Nicole Maria using her arms in a similar way to express the feelings. The pallete of colors, we may have a convert :) Amazing, intentional, beautiful, onsets (spot-on). The voice of Emppus guitar... Magical, a scene in a movie (score). Hans Zimmer, Gladiator, yep. Interestingly, on a device without my preferences, "Hans Zimmer, Live" came up next as a recommendation! Her stage presence, awesome. Floor really gets into the part. A "Death Waltz". Wintersun, yes! The Commander with the crowd, the synchronised pyro! Felt it. Crazy, from head voice, straight into a belt. Even non-musicians can learn from this. This is where Nicile Maria wants to be! Tarja _did_ sing this, but she walks off stage, before the end. This was with Floors ending, early on, she tried it in a sound check and the band said something like: "Wait, what? We have to use that!"
But about Floor's performance. I love her control over vibrato. She knows exactly when to use it, and when to keep the note clean, just modulating the tail of the note. Too many singers don't use vibrato as a subtle musical tool, they just overlay it on every note from start to finish. Singers need to study Floor.
Agreed. Vibrato can we used as a tool. In the opera world it is supposed to be on every not but for those who can control it are steps ahead of everyone else!
@@NikolettaOfficial I have heard opera singers use vibrato this way, and it actually enhanced the performance hugely. Maybe it is time for singers to step forward and use vibrato more selectively. I know there will be a great deal of harrumphing from the old guard, but opera has changed a lot over the years and I think this would be a wonderful next step. Vowel modification has already been reduced greatly, making the words much more understandable.
Nightwish Army checking in and subscribed! I love seeing someone as talented as both of you get giddy over the Valkyrie Floor Jansen. You should hear her cover Heart “Alone”. Or Phantom of the opera on 2019 beste zangers. Please do more Nightwish. I love the breakdown and ALL the technical details y’all are throwing at us. Ps. If possible in the initial listen, can you rewind 10sec after pausing to help everyone fall back in the groove
"If you think Ren has a rabbit hole, the Nightwish rabit hole is like - vast, decades long!" Every member in the Nightwish Army - from the simplest of conscripts to the Hands of Odin -: "This is not a rabbit hole. This is a hole as deep as the Mariana Trench".
First time I heard Ghost love score in a kind of echoy quadratrac version, haha. I did the same when I was sixteen with Donna Summer's I feel love. It took me forever to get that right on my tape recorder.

Floor & Nightwish is something else, no pitch control, no autotune. She is the bets vocalist of the world in what she does!🤘🤘

Fil confirmed no pitch correction some time ago. It blows your mind just how good she is!
Glad you enjoyed it:)
Keep reacting please and with Charlie if possible. She can do so much.

This!
I concur
EPICA!🤘 Yes definitely (Sancta Terra is nice, but there is far more...) 🕳🖤
@@hermenw.huiskamp8555 Yes but in view of her enthusiasm for the genre I thought it would be good for Nicola Maria to see that it's not just Floor.
@@billmorrison8292 excellent!
I agree, shows of a total different side of her voice :) ua-cam.com/video/plCScjvDOJM/v-deo.html&ab_channel=AVROTROS is the link to the preformance.
I constantly find myself thinking that after singing the last line, Flor could have simply dropped the microphone and walked off stage. That was absoluetly a knockout!
@@ЕвгенийГусев-ч8х agreed!
@@ЕвгенийГусев-ч8х that ending from Floor and band is a proof of them appreciating their audiense. Giving them and themselves too time to just jam, dance and enjoy after this masterpiece.
Cant end song in live performanse much better than that 😍😍
She definitely wouldn't do that with her own microphone!
@ЕвгенийГусев-ч8х
Well, maybe she would, though I very much doubt it.
Crazy!
She’s an incredible vocalist. xx
thanks Anne! I am happy to have discovered them as well:)
She is so skilled and versatile that her tone and voice at any moment is always a choice of color, expression and mood, not a lack of ability
12 years ago and still today people haven't heard this song before. JUST IMAGINE. ....
A masterpiece on its own. This voice is Unreal🥲.
Good to know! I will check it out :)
I expect the reactors were hearing it well. Unfortunately, there seems to be a reverb/delay in the sound and video included in the reaction.
@@ecbftl yes, they probably heard it without that echo-delay whatever.
@NightwishArena I agree, I think we got a mix of the music audio track from both reactors, with the music video and 1 of the audio tracks slightly delayed in the UA-cam video. The effect was weird at times.
@@NightwishArena
I get where you’re coming from.
Very lucky!
There's something people very rarely point out...this was hours into the show...they were tired...this was a tired Floor.
Yes, this was the 13th song out of a 15 song set. Floor looks like she could do it all again without a problem.
Thank you for your superb review. Your gentil reaction is so matching the way Floor and Nightwish is. All the band members are humble, they put the music first.

It popped up on the wall of suggested vids at the end of the first listen. Top left I think.

There is a documentary made of this world tour: ‘Please learn the setlist in 48 hours’
Floor joined Nightwish after this iconic Wacken concert in 2013 as permanent member of the band.
Excellent!!! So wonderful dude- you are spreading NW and symphonic metal to the classical world!
I think you two should react to The Poet and the Pendulum from their Wembley 2015 show, too.
@@imrehundertwasser7094 Because the mix is different, you can hear more of the choir, lovely.
Well done!
Thanks so much!
How great that you discovered Nightwish and Floor. And what a joy that you want to continue the Nightwish journey - the Nightwish army is coming in!

Sancta Terra: ua-cam.com/video/cx22Yuj2nzg/v-deo.htmlsi=53cEW5654yzhdtYr
To round out the intro to Epica, please react to their song Once Upon a Nightmare. I think you will truly love hearing Simone's vocals, and Isaac's guitar work is stunning in that song.
Once Upon a Nightmare: ua-cam.com/video/oseRJV0iEJs/v-deo.htmlsi=cab5Oih8Zognm9MQ
For Nightwish, the catalog is vast, but Song of Myself and Poet and the Pendulum are my all time favorites, and I'm sure you will love them. I'm sure the links are in Gabriel's list.
Enjoy the journey!
I need to add. I found your reaction really great and your comments are spot on. Many thanks and kind regards Mick🇦🇺.

They are all perfect in their roles and at their craft. I beseech you, fall down the rabbit hole and discover one of the greatest groups to grace existence.

This was with Floors ending, early on, she tried it in a sound check and the band said something like:
"Wait, what?
Excellent reaction
Kudos to the really good sound quality of the track!
