I just watched this video immediately following the other video you mentioned. I must say that your explanation was much clearer to this 94 yr-old- mind! Thanks--I will surely try it if the Lord allows me the time.😜
Wow, so impressed that you are quilting. You are inspirational to this 58 year old quilter. Wishing you many more happy years and lots of quilting too 👍🏻
Love your show. Thanks for sharing. Watching from 740.
Thanks for clear instructions and the extra ideas.
I love how you didn't skip steps like the original creator did. I need to see every step. Thanks so much.
Wow, I had no idea how that block would have gone together. Very cool & interesting! Thanks for the video...
Thank you for sharing this is a awesome pattern can't wait to try it
it always amazes me how folks think of these designs... I would like to try this!!!!
Wow! I love that and appreciate that you slowed down and showed exactly how to finish the center! Thank you.
I live this technique. I made a great baby quilt about 10 years ago with it, In a class. I just bought the pattern so I could remember how to do it!
Yes. An old favorite!!
@@TheFabricPatch whoops meant LOVE! With sooo many possibilities! 😄
Found a lot of black and white 10" squares in my collection. This would be a great pattern to use. Thanks!!!!
Yes, beautiful!!
Your a great teacher!!!
As a beginner, I luv these 3 books. Thank you for showing it, so nice.
I have never seen that technique before! Thank you for sharing!
Fun technique! Thank you
I just tried this today, took a little bit to get those squares lined up in the middle. But once I did it, it came out adorable, (not perfect, but I tired it and did it!). Thanks for this tutorial, Cindi, I will make another one again!
I'm really glad you decided to go ahead with this video. I do subscribe to quote a few youtube quilting channels, but I must not subscribe to the other one that showed this block. Again, soooo very glad you did this one. :)😀
Oh good! Thank you!!
Love this! Can't wait to try it.
Another winner Cindi! Of course I have a perfect idea to complicate it already from my stash you have sent me 😂. Once again, this newbie thanks you ever so much for your time and sharing🐾🐾💕
Good to hear from you!!
Wow, cool block, love it, thanks for sharing, blew my mind!
Now this is really cool! It’s definitely going on my “gotta do” list!!
Thank you for another great tutorial! I look forward to getting my quilt club kit in the mail! So many ideas...😍
What an interesting approach! I actually learn valuable lessons and tips, when you take the time to convey techniques the way you do. Your approach is certainly in tune with others' need to understand "the why" of something. I love that about both you and Brianna. Your care, your style and your methodology equal skills we can actually adopt and take with us. Thank you, Cindi and Brianna, so very much!!
I really love this and will try in the am!! Always something new to learn! Thanks 😊
It's like the old bow tie block... Love it!
Yes. Totally.
What a wonderful way and soo quick too!! Thank you for showing this. I’ll have to try it. Awesome job as usual Cindi😊
This is so cool. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much!! I have wondered how the cathedral windows were made, and had seen another method, but I used yours and it's perfect! I'm going to use it for a patriotic quilt using American Gathering. I wanted it to be a really pretty, special pattern, and I'm using your method to make it. Thank you again!
Oh fun!!! Send a pic when you are done!!
@@TheFabricPatch Will do! Completed the first three blocks yesterday, and they all turned out really well.:) I'll send the pic when I'm done - thanks again!!
I love this
Thank you!😊❤️
Good idea! Thank you!
So kool! 👏🏽
wow that's a neat trick! :-)
Love it ❣️❤️💕🥰
Right on!
Very interesting
That's too neat!
I wonder how this was discovered!?!
Good question!
This is a really cool block! I watched Sew Yeah make the block but they sewed the center block dow without the cathedral look
Yes we saw that too. We almost changed our mind about showing ours, but we do it very different.
Wow I really like that thank you for going slow to show how it goes
This would be an EXCELLENT top to make a FATT BATT quilt.....Do they still make those batts???? I made one years ago, and the batt had withstood TONS of launderings....but I would love to make a couple more.
They do!
@@TheFabricPatch I would love a couple ....or more.... of queen batts. My hubs had foot surgery and they are warm and LIGHT on his feet. I need to make a few. Mine was from long ago. It has stood the test!
@@TheFabricPatch I would call tomorrow and pay for any larger ones you have.
Could you use 5 inch blocks to make one of these?
Absolutely!
I found nothing easy about this block. Maybe I'm just too OCD! But took much, much, much longer than 10 minutes. I than decided not something I would do and took it apart! 2 hours wasted.
