When I fill to the line and microwave for 1 minute, it's soupy. Tried with less milk the second time. Tomorrow, I'll try filling to the line and microwaving for 2 minutes (that's what it says on my packets).

Some people may have different amount of watts on their microwave or some may just like a different texture so it's all up to you :D
Just read what the time says on the box and then add or take away from that depending on how you like your oatmeal and the watts of your microwave

Quaker Oats instructions say it is. You just measure with the packet so no needing to wash your measuring cup
