I looked 20 years younger than my age until I got extremely stressed at work, nearly having a nervous breakdown. Within a year, I aged 10 years. So I believe that stress is the killer. This man probably has never had to work in stressful situations.
I believe I looked young thanks to healthy food and never drank or smoked.

Relatable. 3x major depression added 20 years to my looks. Yet, the days when i'm happy - the strangers i meet rate my age as if 5-10 years younger. Opposite was also true - is a really stressful work day (harassed by a the manager till i got a nervous breakdown) - and after 10 hours while having the same age related discussion with a guy hired that day - he actually rated my age as 10 years older and shocked about my real age (since a colleague who was 5 year older actually looked younger than me). Stress (or the lack of it) - really shows on the face, hair (gray hair appearing sooner or far sooner - than most at similar age, tho) - and ofc obesity or malnutrition can also have a big saying.

My grand-uncle is now 91, he smoked a few cigarettes a day for 70 years until about 10 years ago, and drank a few drinks daily until last October 2023. He always went to church since he was very little. Never drove, always walked and lived alone until October of last year. Was and is never mean or stressed about anything. He still has great memory skills to this day. Although he has developed cancer of the lungs, he doesn't feel it, he isn't stressed about it. He says: ''Let nature take its course'' We call him : ''Uncle George, The Lounge King''. I think stress is the ultimate killer.

I have been training since I was 9 for every single day. I'm 31 now.
I have been a sub-3 marathon runner, a sub-10 Ironman and a lifelong Muay Thai veteran.
I have been a vegetarian for 5 years and I haven't worked since I'm a landlord renting out 15 condominiums in Bangkok. I travel to 2-4 countries in a year.
I think not stressing, training a lot, eating healthy food, and staying away from all alcohol, sugar and cigarettes at all times are essential.

I wish you the best of luck, it’s more than possible but will be a great challenge! Embrace the journey, eat 70% good food and the other 30% eat what you love including junk food to stay motivated for long term
Start light, plenty of amazing workout on UA-cam to get back into it
Look into dancing workouts, they’re excellent cardio and you may even be able to convince your partner to dance with you! Could be a great bond
Take it light to start but ramp up over the weeks, always warm up the muscles you’ll be using!
Yoga or stretching at night before bed is an excellent way to wind down, loosen up, and It’ll make you tired
My mom just turned 58 and has been sedentary but she’s making it her mission to put down wine and to get back into exercise, and just two weeks in she’s already down a couple pounds!
Best of luck on your journey my friend, remember to celebrate all of your accomplishments in exercise to keep you motivated to keep working! I wish you a happy and healthy new year!

No, you will DIE forever. Not having kids means that you commit a genetic suicide, your bloodline will come to an end. As in forever.
Also you can have children and still enjoy good sleep, exercise and food if you arrange matters in such way that you participate somewhat but mostly your wife/girlfriend, your families and, perhaps, hired nannies take care of the kids in their earlier years.
If anything, having tiny joyful copies of yourself running around the house ill make you younger.
Also, for you to have all this fun and youth, your parents had to sacrifice their time and health to raise you and in turn their parents did the same. So the selfish you owes the Universe raising at least one child yourself.

I turn 56 this year.! People cant believe my age either..Ha.! I do workout 4 days a week. I'm married, i have 5 children and 12 grandkids.! I dont eat processed foods, i walk right past the frozen food section, i walk past the junk food isle. I eat between 1 - 9pm.. For breakfast/lunch at 1pm. I have eggs/organic bread on my non workout days, and oatmeal with peanut butter/milk, on my workout days..sometimes if im in a hurry, I'll have shreaded wheat/milk/protein powder.. I only drink water, i do put lemon in it once a day. I do have a cup of green tea with fresh ginger in the evening.. For supper/dinner around 5:30, i eat protein, either beef, chicken breast, fish, liver, and once a week italian sausage. I also have a sweet potato or cottage cheese. I also have a salad with xtra virgin olive oil and apple cider vinegar.. now for my snack i have a stalk of celery with natural peanut butter and a protein shake.. So i consume 2 protein drinks a day.. In every salad i use lettuce, tomato, cucumber, sweet pepper, sweet onion, sliced carrots, and add avocado every other day.. i only eat fruits 2-3 times a week.. Also no sugar at all..! People have so many health problems cuz of what they put in their bodies.. Soda, processed foods, junk foods like potato chips, cookies, etc. Back in the old days people made their own stuff. Canned their food, everything was fresh. Then these companies came out and made these different foods so people could eat quicker and do less prepping and cooking. Peope have gotten lazier over the years.. These processed foods are so unhealthy.. I cant believe how many people buy this junk and eaven the soda as well.. when i go shopping, i watch these people filling up their carts with garbage.. its unbelievable .. Anything that is not fresh is very bad for you. It makes you obese, gives you all these health problems... I believe that is why cancer is so rampant.. Because of all the chemicals, fillers and additives thats in the foods and drinks.! Look at the label's and look up the ingredients etc.. People need to wale up.! Do you wanna live or die..?? If you wanna die then just keep eating and drinking that junk.! If you wanna live, change your diet..! Get away from the harmful foods and drinks.! Stop smoking, stop dinking, stop doing drugs..! God put us on the earth to live, be healthy and die old, not to die young..! Everyone can change you just need to say no. Use your God given will power. We all have it..! Trust me once you get into it for a little while you wont have the urge to step back into the destruction you were doing to your body.! Start today and say im going to stick to it or else.! Peace & God Bless.! 🙏

Genetics and Family history was once believed to predominantly Influence a person's Genetic Predisposition to certain illnesses by about 80% with little a person could do to change the Trajectory.
However, it's now been known for about a Couple of Decades that a person's Genetics / Family history only determines a person's Genetics and Family history Predisposition to certain illnesses by Only about 15% - 20%, at Most !
The other 80% -85% is mostly based upon Epigenetics .i.e our Daily choices in Diet, Lifestyle habits & vices, Amount of Stress , Exercise, Environmental exposures, ...etc. These changes can affect & alter ( positively or negatively ) Gene expression, Mental & Physical development, Aging, and Overall health, fundamentally.

Lot more people like this than people think. I am starting to think it's an evolutionary thing. Once you get into your 50s, its more about gut health, eating light, protein intake, and lots and lots of exercise and lots of mobility exercises, like burpees, navy seal pushups, and other stretching exercises, etc. Bulk over winter, and trim down in summer, but that gets harder each year so this is the last year I am doing it and have already started trimming down. 40-65 isn't old. It's a man's prime as you get the best of all... you still get to look somewhat young, still be somewhat in shape, and have the wisdom to have fun with it and avoid all the stupid mistakes you made when you were younger... I remember when I thought that was enough. Once I started getting to 300’s I started feeling my age. You have to sacrifice a goat to summon me frizzle from the shadow realm. Then you have to sign a contract with the bus to be able to travel microscopically into the chicken and eat the eggs while they form and the chicken births you in the hollow egg. If you do this enough a pheonix will descend and give you the chance to race it for the ultimate workout plan. With this you’ll be able to spontaneously combust and get rid of your impurities and excess dna mythelation.

Oh man, I'm so very grateful for this vid proving me that I've been doing things right. I've been sugar and meat-free for over 20 years, and processed food has always been out of sight. My 6 am. breakfast is a bit weird indeed, but I happily share it should anyone want to try; firstly 1 cup of bio matcha, secondly 1 bowl of fruits (2 small UNPEELED kiwis + 1 orange, all of them diced, then mixed with a handful of pomegranate arils + berries and soaked in the juice of 1 lemon. Thirdly comes the overnight oats "superbowl": 3 tablespoons of oats, 1 tbs. cashews, 2 tbs. chia, 10 macadamia nuts, 2 tbs. pumpkin seeds, 1 tbs. brewer's yeast, 2 tbs. peeled almonds, 1 tbs. goji berries, 2 brazil nuts, 1 teaspoon black maca powder, 2 tbs. sunflower seeds and 1 heaping tbs. non-alkalized raw cocoa powder + cinnamon, ALL these ingredients grinded in the coffee grinder and giving as a result a sort of thick flour which I then mix with 2 raw omega-3 enriched egg yolks, 2 tbs. honey and some vegetal milk. All this stuff is then very thoroughly stirred and left to rest in the fridge for some 12 hours. BTW intermittent fasting is the way to go indeed.
Edit: Damn, I almost forgot: I also add 1 tbs. of extra virgin avocado oil to the mixture, but this is purely optional.

However, not everyone can accomplish the goal of having everything while still doing what they enjoy every day to stay young.
To provide for a family and children a healthy lifestyle, a decent education is a burden and a daily nonstop routine that leaves little time to look young.
You can't look young or avoid becoming old unless you have the most important daily asset, 'TIME' ⏰

I don't agree with only drinking water, it's scientifically proven that kinds of teas and coffees are beneficial for our health, they also have healing properties, good for the mind and body. Wine is also great for health if consumed properly in moderation.

      Agree with you.
Dark chocolates (hot cocoa) and Japanese Award-winning green tea and matcha are better than oats or oat milk based on my 18 years of research linked to immunology, gerontology and metabolic therapy.
Personally I advocate dark chocolates because research shows that it is proven heart and artery healthy (most importantly stimulate dilation). 😊

I think one of the hugest contributing factors as you age is not just diet and exercise but the amount of food you eat for your last meal of the day. He literally does not eat 7 hours before he sleeps, and if he sleeps 7 hours, that's a 14 hour fast. I found that if I start loosing my abs I will make my largest meals breakfast and lunch and my dinner a protein and a vegetable and eat no less than 5 hours before I sleep, leans me up so quickly ..
