I used to tint for Rick, Robbie and Johnny at Tintman/Mr Tint. From 2000-2002 the shop was a Formula 1 shop. Great people!!!
Did ceramic tint on all the windows of my c10, even the front. with the vents open, it's unreal how much cooler the interior is. When you put the windows down to get a lot of wind, it actually gets hotter inside the cab.

I did the tinting to my 1981 F150 myself. Being that the area of Washington I live in gets really hot in the summer I wanted to get the darkest allowed by the state. They allow 24% but the auto parts store only sold 20% so that is what I put on. I want to get the ceramic film done to the front as well as the sides and back eventually. Am saving up for that.

Dude when I first picked up my 92 bronco from a wrecking yard in Gilroy, CA and drove it to Fresno,CA. It didn’t overheat hahaha. Prioritization my guy, I always go for function, creature comforts, looks.

Okay I got a good one for ya. Wanna know how I tinted my windows In my chevy 😅🤣 I just misted the inside of them with black satin rustolium till they where dark enough to not let light in....
I think they use to cut. I can't think of the name of it. The rubber piece across the bottom of the window on the inside anyway do they still cut that piece off. I just replaced mine and liking the vids sir thanks. I forgot that's the best locking gas cap I've ever seen and it fits the car.

You can be denied getting a inspection in Texas for too dark windows although most shops don't enforce it. My son's car failed at one place so I drove it to another location and they didn't check.
Over here on east coast I see lots of people put strips on the bottom as well as the top of the windshield. It blocks a lot of reflection off the dash and keeps it harder to see inside
I think you should do hot rod flat semi black on mustang and town car you should just turbo can it with bedliner rustolum turbo can

What I did to solve my over heating problem was an electric fan and a 3 core radiator she don’t even barely touch 210 now in heavy traffic😂

Heads up to anyone who may have this done after this video, you’re not supposed to roll down windows for a few days after tint. The windows are clearly down on both cars at the end of the video.

The fox body is over heating because of the electric fans I would down grade to the fan clutch to fix the over heating

I noticed something while they were tinting your cars. They haven’t covered the door panels with some sort of vinyl or plastic wrap to prevent water and soap dripping into the door switches which can result in shorting out circuits that can be very very expensive to repair in late model cars . It happened to my friend’s brand new BMW and made the tinting shop to pay $7000 to repair electrical damages. Just pass out this comment to them.
I had a white sn95 that would get hot in central NY. I can imagine your black car in Cali how hot it must be.
My superduty is 5% all the way around with a 35% windshield. The only way to go.

A/C at all costs... I'm betting that after a 40 minute steam your seriously considering it... I think I would have left it at heat shield products place for a few days to let the tint dry.... ooofff.

@@Sethlevy141 you did a good job it's awesome I'm just giving my 2 cents of experience I've been offroading all my life I had 92 ranger with 9 1/2 in lift and 35/12.50s as my first official off-road rig over 20yrs ago I'm still off roading just learned wider rims and tires saved me on north Carolina beaches / swamps and in Ohio/indiana mud. Plus nice wheels make beaters look not like beaters lol

You do know the tint shop can be fined and lose thier license and even possibly get jail time for illegal tinting, I'd stop advertising the tint shade to protect them if it was my cars,,,, and truck,
