Oh, I love квас! They spread over to Beijing about 8 years and I’ve been loving it ever since. It’s hard to find it in New York, though.

You guys are amazing as usual!👍🏻
Your sweet and lovely son should try to sprinkle some lemon juice on sprats. (My children love that way, even though they were born here). Less salty and more flavorful. Hopefully he’ll enjoy! 😊

Crazy Russian Dad Try just a squeeze at first, to see if you like it. You can always add more, if you do. Let me know what you think. 😊

@@classycameo13 here in Spain we do it a lot with salmon. Never thought it out for "shproty", but fish with lemon usually do well together, so I will try it, for sure!

      Think First Then Do
Honey, I am sure, you will like it. Also, when I bake fish, I love to use fresh Tarragon. I don’t know if you can buy fresh tarragon there, but you can substitute with dry one.
Tarragon has mint type of flavor and long time ago back in Georgia, we had most delicious soft drink of Tarragon and here Russian stores sell “Chornogolovka” company, in beautiful glass bottles and I would suggest if you try that drink, but only cold, preferable. It’s very refreshing!
I am sure, you won’t stay disappointed.
Usually, you can get on line as well! 😊🌹

@@classycameo13 actually in Russia, Ukraine and so on we use to make "kanapka" (Canapé) of sprats where we usually add a splice of lemon and a pinch of parsley to it.
      I completely forgot that

In my experience, every time and everywhere culture of eating so different! And if You like american dish, You'll can't eat right now something like a borsh or shprots, You need some period of adoptation. I was born in Yakutia, live in Moscow and one year I can't eat fish here, because river Lena (in Yakutia) have another fish and give another culture of eating that fish.
Well, and Your son like a dish from the shop - hamburgers or cheeseburgers. No kvas, no kisel, no ryazhenka, no kefir!
    Need adoptation!
