Bird milk naming was a great marketing trick to highlight how unusual, “magic” taste that candy had. Like soviet market needed any marketing tricks, but those creative guys did it anyway

European chocolates seem to really be named odd things. The katzen zungens.. "cat tongues" from Germany are silly too.
Ok on my next excursion to the Russian store imma look for the sweety bird milk chocolates.

Watching your videos has been a sheer joy. Not to mention I'm so jealous of people who live in cities that have stores like Baza. You can't find foods from other countries where I live out in the middle of nowhere Missouri. It makes me sad that the food is so uncultured :( It all looked SO delicious!

Fond memories. My mother loved pickles. Pickled tomatoes were her favorite. Even after her doctors told her not to eat them, she would still have them as an occasional treat.

international market there is one in Lynwood and Everett its not that big but they have fresh baked German bread. and some very nice meats, that you can sample.
