Before I watch the video, I can give a reason to fly. It’s fun. It’s something most people will never experience. Most importantly it makes a great first date. If you want to do it, nothing is stopping you
You mention when you’re on reserve you have the opportunity to “study for work”
I understand the industry is lifelong learning but can you do a short video on what type of things you study on a continuous basis.
Keep the video’s coming! The episodes are motivational and educational as a future zero hour candidate.
Studying for work video incoming soon!
Love you garret
Can't wait to start my PPL this year!
Where Are you From
How Many Years You Educated that faculty?
Haydn Henning good luck the only advice I can give is budget a extra 20% for the PPL and don’t start until you have all the money ready and time set aside to fly because taking breaks hurts you and your pocket
@@MrRandyMarsh1 Thanks for the advice! Appreciate it!
@@pilotkaduula I am from Cape Town, South Africa
This sooooo inspirational for newbies, especially during current extreme pilot shortages in the USA airline industry.
Can you make a video on what the studying is like in flight school and the best ways to study
Nuk713 yes please!!
I would love to see a video about passenger announcements as a captain. Do you have fun with them? Do you like that aspect of the job? Do you hang out and greet the passengers on the way out?
Happy birthday Captain 👨✈️🎉🎉🎉
Hey Garret, thanks for the video! I watched your previous video where you mentioned you could make a video on Recurrent training if there was interest. If possible, I'd love to see one on the subject.
Man I love your videos, My 18 year old daughter is a Freshman at Lewis University pursuing her certifications to become a commercial pilot.
Hey Garrett I really liked the video. Can u do a video about the difficulty of being a pilot and ur experience leading up to where u are now as well as sharing what airlines u work with ? Thanks keep it up so motivational
You always have amazing information. I was working in corporate America and disliked it a lot. I loved aviation, found you on UA-cam, did a lot of research and now live in Arizona and am going to ATP Flight school. I just wanted to thank you so much for all these videos and insight, they are definitely helpful!
always great to watch your video Garrett.
Hi, just came across your channel, love it !
Thanks for mentioning my country Papua New Guinea. Yeah mahn, flying in rugged terrain especially out in the rural areas is tough.
With those lil twin otter and cessna caravan. Its really fun and risky too.
Sometimes passengers vomit and stuff, its something else.
But if you love flying, that aint gonna stop ya.
I did flight nursing on the Navajo reservations...loved it
Im planning to go to Flight school in Spain in a few years and your videos helped me so much make my decision to become a commercial airline pilot. Thank you so much🙏🏽
Thank you for posting more frequently
Bro i love your videos
Thanks for inspiring me everyday bro!
All your videos about airline pilot give us information guide and it really helps a lot especially those new students.. thank you and more power to you Sir Garrett ❤️✌️👨✈️✈️🪽.
Some questions for future airline pilot career videos. What is your 5 year plan? Are you ever concerned your base would change forcing you to commute? Is it a step up or down from captain at a regional to first officer at a major? Anything else you can think of
Great information. Thank you Garrett! I’m inspired to pursue my dream of becoming a pilot.
Hey there question: do you get to choose if you do domestic or international flights because I have never seen u do a long haul flight and is that ur choice or how is that decided
You're the man Garrett!
Hi Garret! I like your videos. I just discovered you Chanel today.
A good reason to be a pilot is that you don't need to take work home.
We, Pilates trainers (when you have some experience), we do not need to take work home either and we do not have much stress. Perhaps, being Pilates trainers is even better than being a pilot. 😂😂😂😂
And a happy early birthday to you brother 🎉🎁🎂
Woooo
I’m exited start my journey as an airline pilot
Fear asside
Can’t wait to start ATP this summer!
Because you have a pilot talent♡
So demedi ayyy ölüyorum cok tatlı allahım özenmişte yaratmıs garreti masallah❤

Nailed it.
Nah still not convinced but I’ll live vicariously through you
Happy Birthday man.
Looking forward to watch how to become a pilot video from you!!!
Big Fan from Brazil 👍👍
Good
just started with my ppl training now :)
happiest birthday
Great video man, really helpful!
I love aviation. passed all my flight lessons 172. instructors warned me about pilot fatigue if i want to go professional. Fly a 16 hour day just get a few hours of sleep between flights
Cool Video Garrett !...😎
Happy Birthday 🎊
Excellent
Bu adamın so demesi beni heyecanlandırıyor
Great VLOG! 👍
can you do a video about domiciles and where a pilot should live or the commute. thanks!!
I was researching about aviation and found out that it is very expensive, can you please say or make a video on how you paid for the different programs and hours to be a airline pilot?
Natnael Abraha It depends where you are living, ex some countries provide loan which can be taken. secondly if you really want to become an airline pilot and you have no money for it you can rather join the military (its much harder) to get CPL for free, and later on you can join any airline. Plus point, many airlines mostly take air force pilots to serve in airlines.
Alexon Fiona Okay, thank you so much.
@@pilotshazma i joined the military to pay for flight training, they dont cover ppl but they do everything else, 1.5 years left
@@rubberbandman200 how’d it go? Would you recommend it?
@efficiency7490 the military? I had my best and worst days in the military, towards the end I couldn't wait to get out. Overall good experience. 👍
HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎁🎉🎈🎂
I’m looking forward to become a pilot

Your videos excellent.videos one best
Next how to build flying time fast
happy birthday in advance!
You could do a video about how flight benefits works
i have a question : Im doing my aeronautical degree in piloting that is bound to a flying school, but the question is, can a pilot have an extra thumb? because i have a tiny extra thumb
Where do you get your pilot shirts from? 😅
What made you choose your airline? Do you currently work for envoy air? Or are you working for American Airlines?
Nice New logo
Which aircraft do you fly? Love your work
Bayiliyorum bu adama diksiyon konusmasi guzelllll
Awesome video...is flight benefits across all airlines or just the airline you work for.
I'm a freshmen right now, ill be flying soon enough. :)
Wait..... you said that you wont have to buy tickets if you wanna go anywhere out as a passenger! How about the same for our family?
I started my PPL 🙂
What kind of things do you study when you said ‘i can study for work’? I'm assuming that's for your pilot job not another job is it?
It took less than a century for planes to be half flown by computers. Imagine what will happen in the next 50 years. I’m still young but tbh I reckon flying won’t be so spectacular by the end of my lifetime.
To this day no one has answered my question if it is worth it to become a pilot when in just a few years from now there will be pilotless planes. Please can you do a video on if you think there will be pilotless aircrafts?
Jonathan Mansour I agree that yes he should do a video on that and there will be planes that will be able to fly themselves but there will always be pilots for passenger flights. Nobody is gonna want to fly on an “AI” plane that has no override system.
Can you please make a video about if an american citizen can fly for another foreign country's airline like British airways
February 1st my birthday too! 17 for me
Can you also make a video about ,can international students do a full pilot program in America.
❤
Excelente
brother when did you start pilot school ?
Just a question if Im correct are you wearing 5 bars on your shoulders?, and what does it mean?
No, there are 4 silver stripes, which means captain. The black is the color of the epaulet.
I'm 42 is it to late to Become a pilot Is something that attracts my attention.
✈️
I love your confidence. You speak with confidence. God will look at this and grant you success
At wat age did u get ur first job in an airline ? Basically when did u finish your pilot training?
I've finished my training just before 22nd birthday. And I started when I was 16. Could have finished earlier, but I needed some time for A-levels and unfortunetly I have taken a gap year. If you are good at studying, you can easily be done in two years :)
What are the options of career for a 41 years old? Are major airlines off of the table right?
Hello sir!
Do 12th standard marks(high school marks)affect to get a job in an airline as a pilot??
I will be a Pilot
Ayyyyyyy ayyyyyy bu adam beni güldürdü
Been thinking about a career change, I’m 29 and always wanted to fly. Currently a carpenter so do you think it’s too late for me to get into flying for a career?
You ever come to SLC international?
❤️
😍😍😍👍👍👍
Ayyy maşallah
Hey guy, you could pass for a brother of this other pilot on here, Joey I think he is co pilot for frontier.
Hoe do you deal with the ear pressure
Garreti doguran anneyi seviyorum❤
Do you have to always study when you’re at home? Because I heard that Airline Pilots need to always study.
I love to travel as well. If I were close to u in N. Carolina I think you and I would be best friends, lol:).
What airline are you with?
What's a line holder?
Please talk about helicopter crash
