    For your process of figuring out the capacity ... could you keep a container of rice or dry beans and a measuring cup. That way your mug doesn't get wet and you can just have that set aside somewhere in your workspace. I keep a few things around like that ... I have a bag of plastic grocery bags under my desk that I use to stuff items like shoes, purses, puff sleeves during my photo process. Chopsticks too ... I use them to push down wrinkly tags or point out flaws in photos ... much better than a close up of my fingernail. If you sell a lot of mugs (which it sounds like you do) it might be worthwhile to keep something like that permanently in your workspace the same you would keep a measuring tape around

      Ooo great idea. I leave mine blank (which Ebay doesn't like) because I can't be bothered going to the kitchen to do the water thing. I'm going to try the rice thing. Thanks :)

      For shoes, get pool noodles from the dollar tree and cut 6 inch sections to stuff inside the shoe or boot.

    I just came across your channel! I’m very appreciative of all of the items you “teach” us about!! I watch a lot of resellers and “go shopping with them “ on their channels as they search for treasures but I have learned more from you in the last hour than a year of watching others. I’m binge watching your channel now! 😊

    You're blowing my mind! I always double box my mugs and it scares me to even think of going single box. Especially for something high value!

      Honestly this always works!! Lol. It’s the big bubble wrap and the mug doesn’t move around at all.

      I wrap mine in shopping catalogues and newspaper and then scrunch up more paper for padding and into a satchel (I've never used a box). I'm in Australia but our posties like to play 'hear catch this' as much as any country :) :) We don't have the same shipping options and boxing would put us into the next post cost. I haven't had a break yet so I'm sure single boxing with plenty of bubble wrap would be fine

    Thanks for the video. Can you please record videos in higher resolution? They are blurry at 360p, so it's difficult to read when you share your computer screen, Thanks.

    You mentioned pirate ship for international sales for your mugs... how do you decide what postage service to go with? Also, do you always go with charging postage based on seller location? I have only seen 2 of your videos so far (am just getting into reselling) but will be watching more, you seem to share a lot of helpful info! Any video solely dedicated to how to ship different items and what postage to go with? This seems to be the most nerve wracking part of the reselling 😢 Thank you!

      My husband is my shipper and we were just talking about doing some more shipping videos.
      For most items I use calculated shipping. Especially items over 1lb that will go Parcel Select or Priority since they will vary the most by distance.
      Items like clothing that will ship first class I usually do flat rates…3.99 up to 6.99 depending on the weight.
      If a heavier piece of clothing will fit in a Padded Flat Rate envelope, we use that.
      I know!! It’s a complicated subject but you’ll get the hang of it!
      The easiest thing to do is make everything calculated shipping and make sure your weights and box sizes are correct. First Class up to 15.9 ounces if you’re buying postage online. (Which you should, it’s cheaper) Priority or Parcel Select on things over a pound. 😊

      @pishposhreselling  Рік тому +1

      Also for international- I choose First Class international package on eBay …then on Pirate Ship I use their Simple Export Rate (message them to ask for it). It’s pretty reasonable!

    Question please: Promote at 2%? Do you use this with all your listings?

    • @pishposhreselling
      @pishposhreselling  Рік тому +1

      Yes I usually promote all our listings at 2% which is the minimum. I haven’t done EBay’s new Promoted Listings program though. There are a few items that are rare or one of a kind that I don’t bother promoting.
