Expectation (from the athletes and from the environment), the results, the level of commitment, the training (drivers have a high level of cognitive training in imaginary)…all under high pressure... is quite something
I agree, the 1st priority is to base everything we do , process we use, is client specific and client driven! I'm playing with melding different approaches together depending on what the client presents. So, even in my ICF Coaching model, there are times that a beautiful opening for IEMT ( or MoM, or NLP, etc) presents itself.
