I’m so happy to hear Sunil’s interview with Smita. It was a honest one, well articulated and reflected the true character of the man, a adorable son to his parents and grand parents, loving son to his parents and dutiable father to his children and great admirer and supporter of his cricketer son-in-law Rahul. I know his family and humble beginning of his dad and what Sunil said of his dad without any inhibition reflects the magnanimity of the person affectionately called Anna. In cricket despite failure of so many stalwarts last couple of years, Rahul was unfairly trolled and if that hurts me, I’m not surprised why Sunil was badly hurt by unfair treatment by social media who are ignorant about cricket. Selectors identify the talents and select players and Rahul is type of talented player who could play any position in addition the added responsibility of keeping wickets which he did wonderfully well. I love Sunil for his affection to his parents and family and pray for his continued success in whatever he choose to do and success of his children and son-in/law. I’m one of Rahul’s greatest admirers and it hurts me badly when some of the dorks pass unfair and negative comments on his play.
Im from Mangalore city settled in Canada. Even today Im soul is in Mangalore the culture, people simplicity, values, food its mouth watering. Im great fan of yours. I loved your movies.
Born in Mangalore, I am now living overseas, but I visit Mangalore every year with my family. Looking out of the plane window while landing brings goosebumps to me every time.❤
Best ever podcast with Sunil Shetty. I am his fan. I think that it's the first time ever I felt emotionally get connected. It was an honest and well researched interview. You extracted everything out of him. Congratulations
I don't know about Kamal..but rajani is absolute gentleman and a real life hero..what do you think he's got his image only because of his roles in films ...he has given back so much to the society and the people who are reason for his growth...
Ms Smita, I have noticed that you are now widening the categories of guests. Now, it is not 100 percent politics. This is great indeed! Please consider Spiritual content also in the future (because that is the real goal of human life). 😃
I grew up in Delhi inthe 80s and 90s .. some of the biggest Suniel Shetty fans I have known were my Haryanvi Jat friends with whom I went to school. His point on Delhi/UP fan following for his "body" is something I have witnessed first-hand
❤ Born in Mangalore in the late forties, spent most of my formative years there. We had very nice neighbors and friends. I still feel much attached to the place. My father loved and stayed there for 25 years. Loved the podcast.
Smita, one of your best interviews I have heard. It has so much of what a middle class family goes through and Sunil has brought out the typical Bombay atmosphere. Lovely to know so much of Sunil’s career and how he takes failure and success in his stride. The bit about how Indians watch cricket is so true😅
Absolutely loved the Thulu opening between two personalities who are the pride of our Karavali Karnataka. On a lighter note, there is an adage in our Mumbai city which goes, "Agar Mumbai mein rehna hai toh Anna log sey dosti bana ke rakkho." 😁😁😁
Namaskara to Sunil Shetty and Smita Prakash. True Mangalurians. Mulki and Inna not far away. It's our duty to preserve the tulunadu traditions. Thank you for the wonderful podcast.
Kudos to you SP. GREAT interview. And Sunil Shetty - we ñeed more men like you. Inspirational. Grounded. Evolved. You sir for me is the quintessential COMPLETE MAN. God bless!!!
If ppl want to boycott Bollywood no one can stop them. Instead of criticizing ppl it would be better to correct the mistakes from Bollywood end. Never forget ppl are the ultimate kings.
This man was a poster and news. But i grew to be his fan today with this podcast. Not what he said new ir different but he lives a life of mine in another track road. He is famous and i am not woyld be the difference
that critic should be criticized who said Sunil Shetty cannot express. My all time favorite BORDER movie his performance arey what to say that Song where he leave his newly wed wife ankon main aasu ajata hain.
par shushant singh ke case mein , there was a pin drop silence...nobody from bollywood said nothing. Hamari sab ki ankhein lagee thee shining india, this india that india...yeh case to fair and square public ke samne ayega log boloenge...but to our sadness none of that happened.
Even still he is in denial of how Bollywood movies show Hindus and Hinduism in a very demeaning and objectional way. Even now he's saying social media not how Bollywood treated Hindus.
One of THE BEST PODCASTS on this channel. There were times I couldn't hold back my tears. May Mahaprabhu Jagannath bless Suniel with all the happiness and health in life, such an honest man.
Rohit will never be where Dhoni is/was. No other captain will be ever spoken as highly of as Dhoni. Rohit hasn’t won jack when it comes to world cups. Winning bilateral cups is forgotten in weeks! So yeah, plz dont compare Rohit or anyone else with Dhoni.
I have checked thrice now. He is 62! Mannn.. what fitness😮
Plus, such a humble and articulate guy.. Thanks for this podcast.. absolutely loved it❤
63 this year..I vl be 38 and look like 64

Warner and Smith played in CPL, before IPL. But what VK18 did was really genuine sportsmanship as a cricketer. Respect
