      Hi Allison, Thank you. Yes high performance sports is a very challenging environment. Expectation (from the athletes and from the environment), the results, the level of commitment, the training (drivers have a high level of cognitive training in imaginary)…all under high pressure... is quite something

    I agree, the 1st priority is to base everything we do , process we use, is client specific and client driven! I'm playing with melding different approaches together depending on what the client presents. So, even in my ICF Coaching model, there are times that a beautiful opening for IEMT ( or MoM, or NLP, etc) presents itself.

      Hi Allison, Thank you!! with the pass of the time and reflecting about that, these small details have caused a big impact in my career and in my life. The impact of words like "yet, now, just" on us are bigger that I realised. The same happens with the pronoums, just one ward like "I" or "me" but with a lot of information 2

    • @BEingPositivelyMe
      @BEingPositivelyMe 4 місяці тому

      @rafaelverdiguiersanchez3827 Yes! Small words can pack a big punch! I've worked before with tiny words that change the entire meanings of sentences. And have steered away from ridiculous arguments centered around teeny tiny 1 or 2 lettered words - especially when translated. Lol! So appreciate all the insight!

  • @BEingPositivelyMe

    This is like when people say "Just Believe in Yourself" to someone who doesn't believe in themselves, AND their Environment has lent reason to do so, is simply trite to say. Without the "how to" the words could, for certain people, just be cruel sounding... In exploring the experience with the Person.

    Though I appreciate the video it seems to go the way of the Star Wars books. The first 3 movies seems to be a burst of intelligent evolution on the books. The stories and the books available are the worst kind you can find - it's a phenomenon called "deus ex machina". When extremly untalented authors write together a bunch of *** they can't get out of they invent something, like the Force (and then mutate it so they they can push the story forward) and Jedi and then there are anti Jedi and then anti anti Jedi and so on. It's the "way" of pulp fiction.

    I had EMDR a few years back. I know it certainly helps some people, but i found it extremely triggering. The therapist informed me it would take around 17 sessions to get benefit!! I stopped after three. Then went to to have IEMT, a far more effective and gentle experience. Which s why i become a practitioner ❤

    • @rontheneurolinguist

      What was the reasoning for 17 sessions?

    • @lisaanderson9109
      @lisaanderson9109 6 місяців тому

      I think possibly because that was the amount of sessions the therapist was allocated. It was through our nhs service. I'm not really sure why that figure was picked, though 🤔 I'm glad I didn't continue, It definitely wasn't good for my mental health 🤪

      @@ckhadem73 it felt the same way as I started noticing them, especially in meaningless situations like being in a mall searching for someone, and then a sales person approaches trying to sell me perfume for example. The emotional response I had was very disproportionate to the situation, hence the overreaction.

    Love your videos. I find EMDR leads people to this type confusion. For example working on abandonment issues. Some therapist when using EMDR are hunting for a solution in the past without defining what the problem is in the present. IEMT clearly works with what is the problem in the present, then goes back to the past to resolve it. Makes much more sense and way more efficient, effective and less of an emotional roller coaster ride.
