What's your thoughts on the RhinoShield Bumper Case vs Spigen Rugged Armor Case, and which screen protector seems to work better with either case? I just bought the Apple Watch 5 in 40 mm; I'm an "arm swinger" when I walk & I'd like to have the double protection against bumps & possible scrapes/scratches to the face. thanks!
It sucks that there aren't any good apple watch screen protectors anywhere. I'm so scared of scratching the screen but I guess it's just inevitable. I stumbled across this video after looking through Amazon. The reviews of the screen protectors are good on the surface but when I looked through the most recent ones, many people would say that it would not stay on for a day or so, or there are some sensitivity issues. I'm glad that you share the same frustrations as I do.
for anyone thats still interested I'm using a film protector because the only thing I want to protect my watch against is scratches because I couldn't afford the stainless steel variant with the sapphire glass and it was the best thing i bought! Its almost invisible, all the scratches on the plastic disappear daily and it doesn't reduce the feel sensitivity or brightness of the watch
The detail and research here is amazing, this helped me so much and I’m sure other people agree (that screen protectors for apple watches are a waste of time)
I've just installed the L-K protector - very clear, with no black edge or hazing. Comes in an excellent kit, with six protectors, along with the necessary tools. So even if it starts to lift in a while, I can just swap it out without any additional expense.
I love the way you review things. Pros, cons and well balanced. Thank you for your hard work. If I see anything I like on your channel I’m using your links to give some kudos back to you. keep up the excellent AND fun reviews.
Great video, but honestly, your dog stole the show. He literally never took his eyes off of you. My own kids don't have that kind of attention span. Impressed!
I'm loving your reviews! Thanks for thorough and real trial runs. I bought one of the Apple Watch screen protectors with my first Apple Watch and never put it on my watch. The install was so complicated and wanted me to wet the whole thing - ack! I'm not terribly rough with my devices and use screen protectors mostly to avoid scratches. So, after watching your Apple Watch reviews, I decided I'll go naked.
I actually really love the l/k screen protector. It works well with the Ancowzoz case for the watch. I’ve had my watch for a month, and I just had to change my first screen protector out of the 6 pack due to a ding it took while at work. But no physical damage to the screen!
Hey man, big fan of your videos ! Would like to know your personal opinion on apple watch cases in general. Do you use one daily ? I'm a programmer and, though I don't really do anything heavy besides going to the gym, I wonder if I should rock a case on my Apple Watch SE. I absolutely love the design of it, not so much with a case on.
Wow, just wow, the sheer amount of work going on behind the scenes is astonishing. Appreciate your hard work. I don't even own an Apple watch, lol. But Thanks a mil.
Loved your review and followed your recommendation, purchased the Flolab screen protector for my new AW6. Followed your instructions for installing. Installed fine. But glass protector cracked after a week of light use. Disappointed in the product and I can’t recommend it.
Did you try the zagg plastic flimsy screen protector? I’ve had so much luck with that one, had it on my watch for years with a rhino shield case and love it!!!!
What about the rhino shield screen protector? I just ordered one of those bumper cases and one of there screen protectors last night but if it’s junk I’ll just send it back and go a different rout. My watch 6 was already full of tiny scratches at the end of the first day but I’d like to prevent it from getting worse. Apparently the glass on the standard series 6’s are soft as butter. It’s crazy that they charge like $300 for a screen replacement!
I use the LK screen protector on my series 5 and they work fine. You can’t tell there is a screen protector on and they usually last 3 months before I change it out.
Thank u for all your thoughts. I'm a newby to the Apple watch & just got the series 6 version. I purchased the CrashGuard NX from Rhinoshield. Do I still need to have a screen protector? Sorry if this is elementary.
@@asrio you’re entitled to that opinion, my point was to point out the video didn’t summarize that way. My opinion is for the user who is more prone to accidents or rough workouts the flolab is useful and the trade off on sensitivity isn’t a high price to pay.
I just purchased Apple Watch SE. I saw you recommend RhinoShield case and thanks to your review I plan to get it as it looks like the best protection I man looking for. Question is I saw the same company has a screen protector as well (3D Impact) . Have you tried it and thoughts about this for extra protection? Thanks.
I use liquid screen protectors on all of my electronics and I’m getting an Apple Watch soon and I’m going to get one because even though they scratch, it’s better than breaking my screen. And my phone has held up well with my liquid glass screen protector.
Dude yes. Thank you for having a video on this. Watch your videos for everything and your recommendations are always great. Helped protector my 8+, 11 Pro and now Apple Watch!
I find your Reviews to be very good. I pay attention to the video so it’s a bit redundant to have to read through all the commentary in the description to find what I intend to buy. Now I don’t see any videos on your channel about this for the updated iPhones or phones in general but what do you think about life proof Frē cases do you think they have gotten better or do you think they don’t need to exist anymore. I rock A life proof Frē on my iPhoneXR and love it. Been using that series of cases like this since the iPhone 4s. I like how it’s rated for a pretty good drops for the average person and I’ve dropped my phone before on a school bus and it’s smacked hard on that metal floor and my phone was fine. I love also how it has that waterproof protection even though your iPhone is water resistant but a little bit more protection wouldn’t hurt
That’s odd about the LK screen protector! I’ve had mine on my Apple Watch series 5 for 2 weeks and it seems to be working just fine. Hasn’t lifted but I also put my watch in a unicorn beetle protective watch band as well! I use the unicorn beetle case when I’m at work and I am a electrician which means I’m working at a construction site, but the weekends I have it out of the case and i rock it without seems to be holding up!
