I finally decided to try the Flolab screen protector for my Ultra, after trying out a LOT of different brands/styles, and I have to admit it is good. Not only does it protect the watch, as it's supposed to, it looks good as well plus I have no issues with the touch responses. Yes it cost more than others but it's worth it
@@eduardoantunez9694 I contacted them and it really doesn’t exist yet. So to be honest this review sucks! How can you recommend something that doesn’t even exist ?
I would LOVE to see you do a long term review of different metal bands for the Ultra. I have gone thru 4 different metal bands that have all fallen apart after a couple months of normal wear. I’m trying to find an alternative to Apples 400$ metal band but just don’t know where I should be looking. I also had a metal band that clasped by magnet, but I would somehow unlatch it and the watch would crash to the ground, and after the third time of it doing it, I just didn’t trust the band and want a normal clasp. Anyway, love the reviews! You have been my trusted go to for all Apple accessories for years now. Keep it up!
For my Ultra2 I got at Christmas, I got a few different ones as well and ended up with the ESR as my favorite, mainly due to the near invisible install (some were slightly bulky and the Ultra doesn't need any extra bulk). It works fantastic and unlike on my previous Series 4 and SE, screen protectors didn't work when swimming. I've had to swap it once in 9 months as I had a shovel fall into me and it scratched the protector. For my 4 and SE, I didn't like the films as they would snag and pull up regularly. I did the snap on covers as they would protect from scratching and impact. Yeah, they probably weren't glass as stated, but they did the job well (but also had to remove and dry when wet or the watch face wasn't touch sensitive).
Just want to say thanks! I watch all your videos once every couple of years when I change phone. MobileReviewsEh is my go to channel since 2014 and I just realized it have been 10 years! p.s Would it be too much to ask for some hermes band review?
Can highly recommend Spigen for screen protector. Had one on my Ultra for a year and now on my Ultra 2 for a year. Perfectly fine and never peeled or lifted up. As for a case bumper, I would suggest PITAKA. Protective and so light, it’s like nothing on it.
I have so many Apple Watch bands I lost count. And that Alumu one is def one of my favorites. It’s dope that once you get the exact fit you like you never have to make micro adjustments.
Awesome video! Just got my Series 10, so I'm definitely looking forward to the more in-depth hybrid glass video. I'll go with some film protectors for now, but would love something a bit more durable and longer lasting (as I've heard they tend to peel off the curved edges of screen with time). Took your advice with the Flolab iPhone screen protector and have never looked back!
I see you recommend a Supcase Apple Watch band but what about their iPhone cases? I’d be curious to see how you would rank them sometime if you have the chance. Thanks for your informative unbiased content!
Honestly yes. I’ve had a 1st gen SE since it came out a couple years ago and have kept a case on it the whole time. There is hardly any scratches except for maybe 1 from the day I got it and i got more money for it on trade in cause of the nice condition and how well i treated it.
this has nothing to do with this video but im going to purchase my first ever screen protector (4th ever phone i keep them a while) and because of you influencing me im going to go with flolab for iphone 16pro max, depending on the results for those expensive guys it might expose some things about the reviews. hopefully it turns out to be worth it.
Hey, could you check out screen protectors especially for content obstruction on 16 pro? Supposedly due to thin borders most available products cover up display near edges, making borders look thicker then they are
Anyone with hairy arms want to avoid the Pitaka band. It tends to yoink at the hair on my arms at least. 😅 I still love my Nomad Active Leather band. I might need to replace it however, it is starting to stink.
Hello there! love the videos so far! I'm wondering if you have a video that covers apple watch charging power banks with built in AW chargers, (certified made for apple), specifically looking for stats on how long it takes to from 0-100% and if heat generation will be problematic.
I have an Apple Watch 7, I wear it on the inside of my wrist as I do with all my watches since wearing my first watch at the age of 8 I have never cracked scraped chipped or smashed a Watch glass or face, I have crashed motorcycles, cycles, and fallen climbing, running and skiing. I started wearing my watch this way because my father was a marine engineer and that what he did, it worked for him and it has for me. Oh I am now 65. Weird but it ain’t broke and it isn’t don’t try to fix it.
About the Ultra 2 milanese loop: I want to know how well it breathes during cardio/endurance exercises and sleeping. Also, where should the lock part be so it doesn't scratch laptop when I use it? Short slack on the side of the wrist, double over, or centered in between? I wonder if it is double over, would you notice a difference during an arm sweaty workout.
I got the new ultra 2 and got the Tommy bear screen protector and it’s amazing! (Glass and flush and easy as hell to install$) also the spigen rugged ultra band is 🔥
Anker just came out with new MagGo products that I started replacing my older travel chargers check the 3in1. Replaced my twelve south butterfly and their new slim 10k mag battery.
im trying to find rhinoshield and otter ox for series 10 46mm but cant find any even tho im trying the link and searching on chrome its like no series 10 case exist rn besides casetify
Yeah I have screen protectors on my ultra , I use border tempered glass because I nicked the lip of mine on the damn faucet. Metal is still metal. Great video as always and love the humor. As far as the none ultra while it is a pain to get on for some the white stone dome makes the best glass because it uses the adhesive and was my go to for the curved ultra phones.
There's few products that is really good also, Anker has done a great 3 in 1 foldable charger that is QI2, also the rhinoshield strap is really good and confortable if you want something like tha apple strap but adjustable perfectly ;)
Can you please🙏🏼 review and compare the Twelve South ButterFly 2 in 1 charger Vs the Anker 3 in 1 Foldable Pad! I want to get one!! But want to know which one is better 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼please help me ❤️
3rd party Magsafe chargers that charge at 25 Watts are not available yet right? I believe only the magsafe puck from apple charges at 25 Watts. Is there a 3rd party that charges at 25 Watts instead of 15?
I still have the Aulumu (say it five times fast, I dare you) M01(?) 4-in-1 charger, and aside from it being too weak to hold a 14 Plus upright unless in the most extreme vertical position, I love it. The 10W USB-C OUT charger port is brilliant. Consider it in your next MagSafe charger review.
P.S. The Otterbox Eclipse Case (bumper + screen protection) is nice-nice, but makes even a 41mm S8 or S9 big and clunky. I can't imagine one on a 45mm Watch and getting a dress shirt sleeve over it. I've put it on the shelf and tried out LK screen protectors on my S9 and Apple Refurbished S8 SS/sapphire (the supposedly tough watch face), and still prefer a nude Watch. Will have to try a UAG band … but have stocked up on the great Apple bands: Magnetic link Leather (3), Stainless Steel (black), Modern Buckle (black) for 41mm Watch, and various Sport Loops. Can't find the braided on Amazon, did Apple ditched those too?! :( Monty seems to be getting bored in these latest reviews. Maybe if you put a little peanut butter behind your ear (old Hollywood trick). 🤔
If you get a ruggedized case, do not get it with a screen protector as part of the case, at least not if you are going to get it wet. There is a thin layer of space(air) between the screen protector and the actual watch screen. The instant I went in the pool that space filled with water rendering my watch non functional because of the thin layer of water preventing contact. I had to remove the watch from the case/screen protector and dry off the watch face to restore function. Not exactly why I got the thing for in the first place.
The braided solo loops don’t just get dirty they get permanently stinky. No matter how much I wash them I can’t get rid of the smell. As soon as they get wet the stink comes out.
2:29 I have used both of these on my s5. The otter box didn’t last terribly long before it started to separate. The crash guard has been on ever since. Has scratches all over it and the watch looks brand new underneath it. will do again if I update to the s10
I believe you were talking about the Apple Watch series 10 with aluminum case not the new titanium, as the latter is supposed to be more durable and almost identical to the Apple Watch Ultra 2 when it comes to durability. I had my Apple Watch Series 9 with Stainless steel that got no scratches or damage to the screen no matter how much I bumped it to wall or things around, now I'm with the Apple Watch Series 10 Titanium body and I'm not so convinced about getting a screen protector or use any of those ugly bulky cases.
PITAKA watch strap is NOT durable in my opinion. Maybe it getting wet weakened it over time. The case itself occasionally pinged off after more than a year of use. Dissatisfied with the longevity especially considering the price. The again I was working warehouse jobs and the links where the pin sits started chipping/cracking and disintegrating to the point where I could just break them without much pressure.
Im sorry. But you have to stop.. every time I watch your vids I end up buying stuff😅. But thanks for these no nonsense quick to the point honest reviews!
The dog is so cute.. patiently looking at him throughout the video
Love the fast pace no bs review

I wanted to get the new RHINOSHIELD for the Apple Watch 10 as you suggested. However it doesn’t even exist.
Yeah this left me very confused, couldn’t find anything about it.

milanese band is my favorite go to for work, classy times, or else it is the ocean band
First time viewer, great energy man gonna check some of those recommendations out
Also where did you find rhino shield for the series 10. Their website doesn’t have one except a band

Where is the Mod NX for the Series 10? Your link is only has sales in that model for the Series 9 and older.
Reverse crown position FTW! I’ve been wearing my watch that way since 2017.
What do you think about the nomad bands?

For the people who wears the watch in the "normal" direction, which band/case combo would you recommend for the Ultra?

Omg i missed some apple watch content 😁
Is a case really that useful for a watch, though?
Honestly yes. I’ve had a 1st gen SE since it came out a couple years ago and have kept a case on it the whole time. There is hardly any scratches except for maybe 1 from the day I got it and i got more money for it on trade in cause of the nice condition and how well i treated it.
That’s my opinion tho. I think it’s worth it
@@purpleturtle98how much more?
Not if you have an ultra. Cases and screen protectors are a waste of money
@@nb31b I agree. The ultra doesn’t need it at all.
I also wear my digital crown towards my elbow! Amen so happy to see others wearing the watch the best way😅😊
That’s what I always do when wearing them during yoga sessions so my hand won’t hit the Digital Crown and activate Siri.
I wear the buttons on the galaxy watch 7 towards my hand, on my right arm, as I'm a leftie
Hi Aaron (All commenters),
