I am a huge Apple Watch fanboy and these reviews and recommendations are highly appreciated. I love the Apple Watch bands but at least I know I can purchase third party bands without the fear of it disconnecting accidentally from the Watch.
You never really mentioned the braided solo loop, this for me has been the most comfortable band and it’s the only band I use now. I have one I bought from AliExpress that I use for work and then another genuine one that came with the watch that I use out of work. It’s the only band I can use during sleep tracking.
I love Monty! So cute! Monty is the best co host. With the cute eyes. I love it. Thanks for all the videos! I purchased the mag safe charger from Belkin 3 in 1 so awesome. I also have the Belkin charger on the go for the watch because the power went out and it came in very handy.
A little confusing about the cases/protection section: in the end what type do you recommend the most? I’m looking towards something that protects but also do not make the watch ugly…
For screen protectors, I recommend staying away from the case with a tempered glass screen protector. Water can get into the case and it makes it hard to use the touch screen. If you need a bumper. Spigen has a nice bumper that doesn't add much weight to the watch and isn't bulky. I haven't had any issues with it popping off. The downside is it can be a little tricky to pop off and you need to take it off in order to switch bands. I have an LK TPU screen protector for my Series 7. It doesn't cover the curved edges but that really doesn't matter if you have a bumper on which will protect the curved edges anyways. The plus side is, you don't need to use extra force to use the touchscreen and you don't notice the outline from the screen protector. I can't at least.
Question! Does the rhino shield case fit even though the new watch is 45mm? I tried looking on their website, and they only have the series 6 cases available for purchase :(
Just an update for everyone who’s still wanting to purchase. Rhino shield came out with the series 7 cases but if you order now they ship mid February.

no, they have not made them yet. As much as I love this channel. The title of this video is a lie. Many of the products that he has in this video are for the series 6 or older and he did not repurchase the accessories for the series 7. There are no tempered glass screen protectors available for the series 7 as of now. There is no crash guard nx from rhino shield let alone basically any accessory for the series 7. Most of the products on Amazon are rebranded series 6 accessories that do not fit the series 7 properly even though the listing says it should.

I like the way you point out that reviewers give their opinions on things versus “influencers” which are (not your words) just mouths for hire. I’ll never understand how we went from my generation creating TiVo to skip ads to the current generation living to be an ad. Where did we go so wrong? Amazing video thought! Appreciate the time time you put into organizing it.
What makes you think we went wrong? I personally love being recommended good products that I would have not found otherwise. I imagine this is why older generations have zero clue about 90% of modern day products. They don’t watch ads, and then still think newspapers are relevant because of it.
Lots of good information packed in this video, perhaps maybe break this into 2 or 3 shorter videos with subject titles on what accessories are in the video would help me find this video in the future. Love Monty sitting next to you!
People seem to be sleeping on the BullStrap leather watch bands. I'd recommend checking them out. They're pricey but well worth it if you want a genuine leather watch band for work or going out. They do take a little time to break in so they're a little uncomfortable at first. They feel great once you break it in. The connectors are also secure compared to the cheaper leather bands that I've tried. Stay away from Solace bands. They are a cheaper alternative but it shows in the quality. I had one of their loop bands where the elastic wore out after two weeks. The connectors also didn't fully click in.
Have been a long time follower of this channel. Always loved the depth and amount of work that had been put into testing gear. Disappointed at this video and how the items listed do not directly translate to the Series 7. Please change video title so as not to confuse those coming to you for suggestions!
They do not Bc it’s a slightly different shape. In fact 90% of the items in this video are actually series 6 accessories as series 7 cases and tempered glass screen protectors have not been released yet
You missed a big part of glass screen protectors. The ones with the black borders cover up the edge to edge display. Particularly the edge to edge watch face.
Do you have a specific link for the actual Pela watch lugs? When I click on the one in the description it just takes me to a generic Amazon search that seems to include everything except Pela lugs.

I love my MagSafe Duo Charger it’s my main charger I use. So I wonder how much different it is or if there is a difference when just charged the watch while I’m already using the usb-c portion

Thank you for your videos! I need this video as I just got a new Apple Watch series 7. I decided to mix and match because rhinoshield is out of stock on their 3D impact screen protector. I’m going with the rhinoshield bumper case and zagg glassfusion screen protector (they don’t have glass fusion plus on the site as of 01/2023. I was able to get both from their respective sites with a discount (paid $17 for rhinoshield case and $20 for zagg screen protector). I can’t wait to get them both and try them as I’m not using my new watch until I get both. I’m also investing in the apple Nike sport band for my watch because it’s main use will be for working in the hospital and working out (ie gym or playing basketball). Keep making these awesome videos and thanks again!

Rhino shield 44mm does not fit the Apple Watch series 7. Just tried it. Returning it now. Can’t find more than 2 decent screen protectors that actually fit series 7 45mm. Shame…you would think these companies would come up with something quick

@Michael I did more research and found that technically the 44m stuff will fit, it’s the screen protector that has me worried since the 45 curves over farther. We shall see. Aaron is very truthful and upfront in his reviews and I believe he wants to keep it that way. I’ve bought accessories for my phones and such for many years now based on mobile reviews eh. Surely he wouldn’t let us down now 😄
@Michael Update: I got my series 7 (it’s awesome) But as feared the pitaka carbon case doesn’t fit properly. I got it on the watch but it sat against the crown wheel and thus the watch didn’t function well. Had to take it off and I’ll be sending it back. I’m not sure what to say about Aarons review of these, I believe he is saying these will fit and the 45mm watch is the same size case wise. But I’m afraid that’s just not true for every case… Hopefully brands like pitaka come out with new versions soon!
