      Hey Audrey,
You look awesome. Very graceful in talk and presentation.
I am a huge fan of you, not only by style of clothes. Also the way you talk, slower and calmer.
I am on a heavier side. I would like to see styling tips for heavy personality. Also suggest some jewellery to play with.
      Thank you.

I just love the way you speak and the way you convey information and your knowledge in such a thoughtful and caring way. You really are so special. If you’re ever in Colorado, I’d love to meet for a coffee. (P.S. I’m not a weirdo.) You just inspire me so much, not just in fashion, but to be a better and more conscientious person. ❤️😊

Sometimes it’s so hard to see yourself objectively in ones clothes. Watching you in some of my own choices makes me realise the silhouette I am missing. I really need to embrace the “skimming the body” concept. It definitely flatters more than the looser fit that I have chosen to hide my flaws.

To me the most important thing in your video is that everyone should look at her/him self carefully and without any special criticism or ego asses the strong and weak point on the body. That's what you. You are fully aware of your strengths and weaknesses and you create an out that is most flattering for you.

I'm an accredited beauty therapist & make-up artist, but I don't follow many YT fashion/beauty channels as so many seem to have no real purpose & others seem to talk *at* you rather than *to* you, whether they are well-informed or not. I'm a bit confused by the cropped pants - to me, it makes you look shorter and sort of cut off, especially in the second outfit with the boots. Wouldn't longer pants make a nice, sleek line with the boots? It seemed awkward to have that bit of bare leg hanging out. Even with the other pant/shoe combinations, it felt like so much space between the hem and the shoe. I have very short legs, so I do everything I can to elongate them!

A money saving tip I did was to taylor my own clothes. I often buy from thrift stores, I have had 2 children and my weight has changed so to save money while transitioning I bought what I could afford and just sewed the pieces to fit my frame better. Sometimes just replacing buttons upstyles a blouse. The best tging to do is to know your frame, your silouette, and work with your wardrobe to work for your body. If it doesn't in it's current state, alter it.

Great video! Loved the before and after comparison! I am petite also (5’1&3/4”), also small framed, but with longer legs and a shorter torso. Pretty straight through the hips and busty. I tend to avoid wearing belts because it cuts the visual line, especially since I’m busty, but I do like what they can do to an outfit. I’d love to see some advice on wearing a belt in this situation. I’m loving the idea of a series. Love just sitting and listening to you. You’re so calming!

Great suggestions as always, Audrey. And may I add a suggestion for you? To tell/remind people two things about vents: to check the back view to make very sure the vent isn't being pulled open, a problem one sees far too much; and conversely, when a garment is sold with the vent held closed with packing stitches, to remove the packing stitches. If you say it, far more people will see it than will notice my comment.

    • @pipmitchell7059

@@toplobster1040 It's the part at the bottom of a seam in a jacket that isn't stitched together. A man's suit jacket usually has either one in the centre, or two, one each side. In a jacket that fits properly the edges hang down straight, but if the jacket's too small the edges are pulled apart instead. That doesn't look good, but happens all too easily when a person gains weight, but doesn't see what that's doing to the vent(s) because they're at the back. Any help?

What a great idea, Mama M.D.! I sew a little and make some of my alterations, and I often see women shaped like me (shorter than average, hourglass but overweight) that would look a million times better if they had someone take in their dresses at the waist, or put darts above the bust on a shirt, or hem their skirts at a flattering point on their legs, or shorten the sleeves on a jacket. It really makes a world of difference. As much as I grumble about paying good money for alterations (for the things that are beyond my skills) once I put that newly-tailored piece on, I have to recognize that it takes the look from slightly slovenly to "I am confident and well put together"...and that image has positive impact in all areas of my life. It's such a worthy investment!

This is enormously helpful--seeing the mistakes in the context of your improvements is terrific. Well done. (As always.) One request: I live in an extremely warm climate, so layers, long sleeves and even hose are usually not part of our wardrobes. Most people here seem to wear baggy shorts and flip-flops, but I moved here only recently, and I'm not a shorts and flip-flops kind of girl. If there's a way to make clothes flattering and attractive in a hot climate, I'd love to see it!

Sue Cox I live in the Knoxville, TN area and never wear shorts. Ankle pants in summer or a bit shorter length. You would be surprised how cool light cotton or linen can be. Looks more polished -- I'm not a shorts and flip flops girl either. Just pants as described above and various sandals.

      J. M. Agree. Best solution I find is breathable fabrics.such as 100% cotton and linen. Not easy to find these days but worth the search.

South Moravia probably isn't that hot in comparison but it's hot enough for me, and I wholeheartedly second these suggestions.
Lightweight natural fibre wovens. (Knits are more insulating than wovens, even in 100% cotton.)
      Skirts and dresses.
      Looser fit.
And this is a bit counterintuitive, but if you have a lightweight woven in a light colour, covering up more actually helps you stay cooler, because the sun isn't beating down on your skin. (People traditionally living in deserts cover up for a reason.)

P.S. The one time someone told me I must be wearing designer clothing when I was not was in a summer outfit of white wide-legged trousers (I made them myself) and a white Indian blouse of a very simple looser shape but richly embroidered in turquoise.
The blouse has cca 3/4 sleeves and a fairly modest neckline. I was more covered up than most, and still probably a lot more comfortable, clearly looking chic, and feeling great. :-)

Just found you in UA-cam and I already love you!
I’m 25 and all my live I’ve struggled with my weight so that meant that most stylish clothes in shops wouldn’t fit me. That meant that I had to shop in shops that were targeted to an older audience (which was not a problem cause I’ve grown accustomed to basic pieces).
Also most of the fashion bloggers made me think “yeah but I don’t have the money nor the body to wear that” so it is refreshing to see you not ultra skinny and not so fashion trend follower.
I’ve never found a blogger that suits my personal style as close as you do. It looks to me that you would dress the same whether or not you were a blogger and that definitely apeals to me.
PS. Forgive my mistakes, English is my sencond language.

Wow, talk about timing, Audrey. I just listened to a video by Hilary Rushford a few days ago, and she talked about the effects of creating a V at the top, even if it's adding a necklace like you showed here, and having some type of line at your thinnest point in the middle. This is going to help me SO much so I look forward to your future installments. You're my favorite style blogger.
