Another fabulous video ... would love to see more videos for fall fashion. LOVE the content you present... Many Blessings and Peace to you and yours !!!
Can this video get more likes please? Here's someone who's teaching us to be practical and not fall prey to wasteful consumerism and she definitely deserves more recognition! ❤
Your is one of my very favorite channels because of your style, grace, and great taste in all that you wear. I love the idea of NO HUGE HAULS! It is expensive, a waste of mon ey, ridiculous, clutter creating, and it places some women in a state of wanting more but not being able to afford a new wardrobe every season, just because some women go overboard every season with clothes, makeup, etc....Enough of this senseless and ignorant mindset. Thank you for your sensible, intelligent and classy approach to LIFE!!!!
Yes! She treats her wardrobe like a beautiful but still practical arsenal, not a disposable collection that needs to be renewed every six months. That's simply not affordable or sustainable for most people, and incredibly wasteful. The obsession with trends and the newest thing creates so much anxiety and is the primary toxic undercurrent of the fashion industry. This turns the act of acquiring and wearing beautiful things, which should be a pleasurable, fun, and joyous exercise of self-expression, into a stressful, expensive, and unfulfilling endeavor. You're left constantly wanting more, instead of being encouraged to enjoy what you have. I think it was a vlogger named Hannah Louise Poston who said something like, "It took a long time to find beautiful things that I truly love and that are me. These items bring me so much joy that I have no desire to replace them."
This is only my second video of yours but I am loving so many things! First of all, I love how your goal is NOT to keep buying new pieces but to fall back in love with what you took the time to collect. Second, I greatly appreciate that you plan your speaking points and proceed fluently with varied vocabulary without sounding stuffy. It should not be this hard to find well-spoken women but so glad I found you. Thirdly, while I do not spend much time on current trends, I have already found inspiration for a pink velvet pleated midi skirt with a quick Google image search. I have only worn the skirt with a black lace tee for the holidays but now found three images I adore- all bulky neutral sweaters tucked into the skirt with nude heels and a structured bag. I have this already in my wardrobe and have been looking to break that skirt out for two years! Thank you for the idea! Pleas keep videos like this coming. Subscribed!
This might sound odd but I’m only 16 and unlike most my generation dressing classy and sophisticated is something I take pride in. I have never found anyone my own age to relate to such. Sometimes I feel like I should be into “Supreme” and such but, this channel has helped me elevate my looks a lot and make me feel more confident. Thank you 💕
I could not love you more! I keep talking about you to my husband - and he's like "who"? - because I talk about you like we are friends!! Your videos are all fire!
You are truly a master stylist. I have begun looking at season switchover before the weather changes here in the PNW. I knew exactly where to go to first before I make one single purchase. Thank you for your inspiration.
You're a breath of fresh Air . Smart and classy. Beautiful too. I can't wait for fall/Autumn. I hate hot weather. You're tips are fantastic. Thank you.
So a bit of rambling here.. I wanted to go shopping today but I didn't want to get yet another top that I would never wear or a 10th pair of jeans. So I watched most of your videos about a capsule wardrobe and staying within the basics. I never even thought about tailoring my clothes. I opened my wardrobe and found 10 (!) pair of pants that needed to be tailored! I also went through my sweaters and I left aside all the colourful (well except the pastels) ones and kept the monochrome. What I found out was that I really must love jeans and beige-white-pastels. I tried all the turtlenecks with all the different jeans... Tucked in, left out.. I even managed to get a brown fluffy wool coat to match in an outfit. Turns out I already have a capsule wardrobe. It seems such a relief that I can go shopping with a more specific goal in mind. Next up: jewellery to compliment the outfits, belts and some great flats!
Absolutely right. Trust Audrey to find ingenious style tips that are not only suitable for most budgets but also across the generations. I'm finding people are commenting favourably on my clothes now that I cast an eye over Audrey's blogs - a great compliment at my age! Keep them coming, girl!
I agree. You are indeed a breathe of fresh air.🤗🎶 Extremely well spoken& well mannered. I learned a lot from your videos & get inspired. I love that you encourage us to go shopping again in our closet & buy preloved luxuries &saving for it. I am 63, businesswoman, from Manila, Philippines. There should be more like you Audrey.💝 You bless a lot of us with hat u share. God bless you more🙏
You’ve articulated beautifully simple, doable steps that I can take this fall. I appreciate (!!) that your focus was on things I already own. Thank you!💐 Your channel is delightfully refreshing and enJOYable in a loud world of “hauls, steals and deals.”
Am planning my fall wardrobe now. Thx for the reminder that there's no need to buy a whole new wardrobe. Loved the black shirt & jeans - so effortlessly chic!
I absolutely love this idea! I have the best wardrobe I've ever had in my entire life at this point. I realized it when I started looking online at this year's clothes and I truly needed nothing! I have decided that I'm not going to spend money on clothes this season. I would love more of this type of videos and thanks for putting this together! It was inspiring!
YOU are such an inspiration, Audrey! Love your ideas and your presentations are so calming. When I have a hectic day, I go back and look at some of your videos for pure enjoyment. Thanks so much for your efforts!
This was an excellent exercise in pairing forgotten items to fit the Fall trends or personal inspiration! I would love to see more. But also how you work in summer items into your Fall ensembles.
You have such an intelligent, poetic way of describing fashion that's very accessible and inspiring to me. I love how you truly enjoy and appreciate every aspect of it, down to the most subtle details, and shop so mindfully.
I have just discovered your channel and I am loving it. It is not only very inspiring and educational but also soooo relaxing. I love your style, your nice smile and your soothing voice ... I love to watch your videos while I do my make-up. Your videos are just like you - beautiful and classy. Much love from Prague, Czech republic, Europe
I love that you give genuine styling tips to help us get maximum wear from our clothes rather than constantly plugging items you have affiliate links for. It makes me trust your advice and feel like I am listening to a good friend when I watch your videos.
Thank you, Audrey for presenting basics of good fashion rules. I never had time for that and was not interested, dressed instinctively (a lot of times well as I usually chose classics, black and white). Got bored. Now I have fun watching your channel and realize fashion is playful and relaxing and makes you feel better. Something for myself. Also I’ve learned that styling and unexpected combinations of one’s own clothes can completely change the way we feel about ourselves. Your videos are beautiful, incorporating good music and very much to the point. Thank you for always respecting other people’s time and always staying on topic.
I love this idea! I've often been on a budget and have updated my wardrobe by pairing things differently and adding different jewelry or a belt. I have also found designer pieces at thrift stores to add to my wardrobe. If they're classic, I don't care if they are from previous years.
I have no idea how I got here but I love your videos and you’re have such a calm and soothing voice ❤️❤️ love listening to your tips! And yes please I would love more videos like this for fall and winter. No matter your style these tips are gold! ❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻
I skipped over your videos for months bc your style is different than mine, and I had been disappointed by other style channels. So glad I decided to watch some of your videos today! Helpful! So excited to try this expertise! Thanks
Your videos are feel-good moments for me. Sometimes it’s just to listen to the calming timber of your voice; or getting the warmth of your candid, down to earth manner; of course, to get new tips or ideas to re-invent my style. Always, it’s a fun and relaxing few minutes for me 🥰
Hi Audrey :) I'm so glad you did this video, please do more because we #love your inspirations / ideas for renewing & mixing our current wardrobes. This year, like many, I've Marie Kondo-ed my entire house which is rewarding in itself, if to better love what is left. Initially, I felt lost come fall, when I realised I didn't know how to pair outfits anymore. So much of what we own can be repurposed, hence #delight when I found this channel. Unlike masses of UA-camrs, I respect you for teaching that what we have is enough; more importantly, that we're enough. And wonderful in every way. A big hug and many happy thoughts your way, dear. I'm excited to be creative once more, can't thank you enough. Xx
I know I do not comment as often but I do like your style and your videos and this is one of my fav because this is something I've been doing long before the internet. I have always bought magazines (even to decorate my little house) I always like to check what's in style, going to the grocery store, restaurants, the mall and see what people's wearing what the stores have and even what they put on their mannequins watch the shows on TV and then go to my closet to look for similar pieces and it really have saved me money. Now with the internet it got easier but I'm still doing the same thing i've been doing for many years, my magazines and my trips wherever I go still looking and paying attention. But thank you for the video.
This is great info. I will tell you that creativity in outfit creation or recreation becomes more challenging as you get older. Possible, but more difficult. Thanks for all you do!
This was so fantastic! Your energy is very calm and comforting, and your examples with your own wardrobe are SO helpful and practical!! Please do more like this!
Please do more of these. I find it so helpful to see you put outfits together from the inspiration looks. Could watch you all day. So calming and also inspiring. Thanks!
Happy weekend as well Audrey, this fall. Now that you mentioned, I love Jeanne Dammas and how polish style she wears in street style pictures, very glamorous, I also use red lipstick to go out for a coffee, or just buy smeting @ supermarket and get back home, that's the style I like on her when reviewing a street style and get inspire in my closet.
Ami Pinks yes, I just love seeing the practical application where Audrey takes the next step and shows us how she used the inspiration with her own pieces. That just completes the process for me in a concrete way. I would LOVE to see more!
For me personally, this is the most useful video you have posted for some time. Yes, please do this again for winter, spring and summer! Re-thinking existing wardrobe items is so helpful to avoid denuding the planet we all share. I’m trying to avoid buying anything new. Thank you!
I LOVED this! Loved the encouragement to look to what we already own & fall in love again with it, but maybe in a new way. Also LOVED that you showed us real life examples from your own wardrobe. Well done Audrey!!
This was a fantastic video -- so much value and inspiration, and well filmed/edited. I, too, really appreciate that you're not encouraging us to go out and buy new clothes -- most of us have enough already -- instead, we're re-inventing our own wardrobes, and it's sort of an exercise of "reframing." And I also LOVE that you talked about the re-verse inspo of looking up what to do with pieces you already have to see how others wear them. I really need to do this more! Thanks, Audrey.
Thank you for more great info! Please do create more videos like this. Please consider creating videos on: - choosing the right neutrals for your skin tone and how many neutrals should pick - colors that go well with each set of neutrals -mixing neutrals - working with gray. I can never get it quite right -how to find a good scarf second hand - wearing hair accessories like barrettes, headbands, without looking like a little girl or over done - maintaining or fixing clothing and how to work with a tailor - DIY fixes like adding new buttons and where to find great buttons, adding trim etc - 10 ways to wear: a belt, blazer, long sleeved t, flats, white button up, lace up shoes like wingtips, cardigan, leggings, basic black or single colored midi dress - working with camel and beige as neutrals. For example, if you wear a camel skirt in winter, what color tights do you wear? - how to choose things like canes or flat shoes for women with mobility disabilities - wearing pins or brooches - tricky winter layers like tights, umbrellas, raincoats - basic no makeup makeup look - styling earrings or bracelets. Thank you 😊
All the looks you re-created are so beautiful, uncluttered and simply sophisticated. I look forward to your videos even though I live in the opposite side of the world and our seasons are opposite to yours. I am so happy I found you on You Tube. 🍓
Bought 2 men’s plaid blazers from the thrift store, spent about $8 and I’m in love!! Can’t wait until Fall! I’m excited to try mixing the plaids with floral prints or the leopard accessories I am obsessed with! Love your channel!!😊
You look so great in this style! It’s not my personal style but you work it. I love your style advice and I’m so addicted to your channel. Keep up the great work.
Thank you for the reminder to shop what I have! I so appreciate your tone and style of filming. Your content is always useful and I walk away with new ideas every time.
Audrey, this is my favorite kind of thing. Now that I have a curated closet it is so much fun to put things together in different ways. This is an inspiring video. Yes, more please. Thanks!
Great video. I would love to see more like it. I'm looking forward to pulling out my fall clothes and really scrutinizing them. I have tended to buy pieces I like without much thought to their versatility and then later find I hardly wear them at all. Fortunately, most of them are inexpensive. When I purchase something expensive it is usually coats, shoes, and purses and these are always classic pieces I wear for years and years.
Do more of it! It's very creative and inspiring 😊 Shopping your own closet is a great adventure journey that lets you discover some forgotten treasures. I love that😊
I think I discovered you recently while I was watching Christopher Hopkins. I'm glad I found you and enjoy your tips very much. I bought a book years ago called building a better wardrobe. You seem to follow their principles. Happy Fall Monday!
Yess! I also pause movies because I see something. To me it is the inspiration of what I want to design and sew next. I have tons of screenshots of movies, youtube videos and webshops for my inspiration
A change to see you in something slightly more edgy - the black and white/leather jacket combo with lace-up shoes (? wing-tips). You've definitely given me some ideas, thank you!
How odd. I stubbled on this video . I have been cutting pages from magazines that come to the house of the outfits I love. Then I go shop my closet. So surprised how many pieces I already have but forget about. I write on the pages too. Love love your outfits too.
Loved that you inspired us with clothes you have in your own wardrobe! I do this too. I was wondering. Do you ever go out and help people pick out a better wardrobe and help them find the timeless pieces that you show in your videos? I love the tips and some of your basic jackets and tops you pair together are just so timeless and elegant. I tend to shop better clothing stores, some outlets and even second hand stores, but rarely find timeless pieces at second hand shops, even the outlets are a gamble. Thanks so much!
Hi Audrey , I am somewhat late to the party but I must say i really love your insight and wisdom and most of all unwavering enthusiasm about fashion. Lots of useful and handy tips, i just wish i had more places to go to show off my new style . Well at least the school the run is looking a lot more funky and dressy .
This is why I love the Cladwell app. Once you add your closet it makes outfit ideas for you. Not affiliated, just a user that loves its use. Great app!
Love, love, love the idea of having a series of how to re-use, re-love and re-fashion clothes we already have....closet fatigue or wardrobe boredom causes me at least to cruise Everlane..LOL...this is such a great set of ideas, methods and ways in which to find new and wonderful ways to wear our staples.....Hugs...fabulous video as always ..
Great video! Taking an afternoon to go through my clothing at the beginning of each season, coming up with new combinations, always helps me curb my impulse to shop. I always have more than I think I do. I should do it more than twice a year, because temptation creeps back in a little!
Audrey, I love your channel, but especially this series of fall wardrobe inspiration. especially this video inspired me not only to use the things I already own, but through a modern twist work with them and make them feel hew and more current
I really like your voice, so gentle, and thank you for encouraging the audience to discover new style with using our old clothes. It’s so nice!! Greeting from Taiwan!
I love the fact that you are 5'3, which is happens to be my height too! I follow very few fashion blogger, and you are my favorite. The fact that we're in the same height makes things more awesome, as it will makes it easier for me to take inspiration from you. 💖 I always enjoy your videos. There's a simplicity and gracefulness in you and your creations that makes everything so calming and inspiring to watch.
I loved this video! I struggle with weight gain-weight loss-weight gain and so forth, so it's very hard for me to keep tabs on my wardrobe. So many items that don't fit that each season I end up buying stuff I don't really need. I need to go back to basics, and this video helped me a lot.
Hi Audrey, it's winter here in Australia but it's 28c today! You have inspired me to work with all the awesome clothing I have, I still need to down size and simplify my wardrobe. I have also realised I have a few go-to pieces that I love to wear too, so thanks so much xx
Loved this! I don't hv comparison pics, but I did do this (used an inspo pic to experiment with my clothes in a new way) last weekend and I got three verbal compliments on my style! I credited pintrest's library, but recognized the emergence of my own personal style! I've really appreciated your inspiration and cool, calm, reserve towards a closet/consumption on this first year of my journey. I started out not even knowing my style (not sure I can name it, yet) and now I'm developing an eye for peices/outfits I like!
Hi Audrey. Yes, please make videos for winter, spring and summer. I'd love to see them. I'm also sharing them on FB. Please also make videos about how to dress for occasions, Christmas parties, new year's eve parties, July 4 bbq, hosting a dinner party/cocktail party. The possibilities are endless. Thanks! =)
Thank you ! I really enjoyed all the tips and you inspired me to gather my collection of favourites. While watching this, remembered to buy a black blouse for fall that I didn’t replaced in 3 years!
Hi Audrey, I always do this inspiration technique, such fun. All the outfits were classic and beautiful but the pieces you coordinated from your own wardrobe were by far the most stunning! Thank you.
This was absolutely wonderful. I’m a new mom and I got into a fashion slump, post baby. You invigorated my love of some of my pieces to style into Fall. I discovered you recently and have really been digging in - love your channel!
Audrey, your videos are so helpful. Seeing this one got me wondering how you organize your closet. Do you group seasonal outfits together in any way. Or reorganize clothes/shoes/jewelry as part of this process.
I have a white midi skirt just like the one you've styled for my elopement... I'm so glad I've seen it and got inspiration on how to use it again after the ceremoney! xxx
I loved your video: the fact that you broke your analysis into pieces made me realize that I can also do this! By myself! I would love more videos like this one!
I use my Style board in Pinterest to do this a lot. I always come up with combos and styling I can do with pieces I own and feel like I have a fresh outfit. You’re right, it’s fun! Great video
I love this idea and YES, Audrey, please do some more of these videos....I learned from my Pinterest inspirations that I am very much into the lighter neutrals and monochromatic looks, and also into pairing more feminine or summery items with "tougher" elements like vegan leather moto jackets and ankle boots. Luckily, as you point out, all of these items are already in my wardrobe, about 98% of them are good quality pieces purchased second hand from eBay, Goodwill, Thred UP, etc. I have only two items on my fall wardrobe "wants": some cognac colored vegan leather mules and a dark camel or caramel t-shirt. Bring on the fall!
It's fun to people watch, too, to get ideas. Of course, I use the other ways you've mentioned (Currently have a recently received InStyle Magazine that I have started reading...). 😊 Thanks for yet another video...I, along with so many others, appreciate your delightful demeanor and voice, plus the opening music, too.
Happy fall outfit planning 🤗❤️
Another fabulous video ... would love to see more videos for fall fashion. LOVE the content you present... Many Blessings and Peace to you and yours !!!
I love these kind of videos. I would love it if you could make more of these as you suggested at the end.
Echo MarH & Sanne C ..
Me, too! More please! 💞💞♾♾
Yes please!
Thanks so much for sharing so much knowledge and breaking down things we take for granted or we don't notice!!! Kudos
I love that you don't encourage unsustainable buying but remind us to reconsider what we already own.
And she provides practical tips that most can apply.
I love this woman. She is the Bob Ross of fashion.
etohprn exactly!!!
That’s exactly it!!
omg...
What a compliment! To her AND Bob Ross!
Yes!!! I agree!!
Can this video get more likes please? Here's someone who's teaching us to be practical and not fall prey to wasteful consumerism and she definitely deserves more recognition! ❤

I love the contrast of the edgy leather jacket with the classic lines of your silk skirt.
I agree - and the blazer look was different but still lovely.
I could not love you more! I keep talking about you to my husband - and he's like "who"? - because I talk about you like we are friends!! Your videos are all fire!
You just made my day! Thank you so much ❤️❤️

is hard to find good videos that it does not require shopping
So true.
Hear, hear!
Yes please! More re-dos of existing wardrobe pieces! Inspired!! And combinations taken from updated photos!

Your channel is delightfully refreshing and enJOYable in a loud world of “hauls, steals and deals.”
Nicole, great point.
I have been looking for a channel like this! Classy means smart, attentive to details and quality, and being stylish.
I love your style! Very classic and minimalistic. So many possibilities with this kind of wardrobe. As you mentioned, all you need is inspiration.
"Remind myself that I already have what I need." You are a delight and an inspiration! Thanks for all you do. xo
I’m trying not to buy just to have something “new”. Thanks for showing a way to do that and to feel refreshed too!
"Play in my closet" is my favorite game!💕
I shop in my closet! LoL 😍

Hi Lynda. I'm older too, but my biggest problem is weight gain. Most things I love just don't look good on me.
I would love more videos like this, such an amazing idea!
I agree - genius idea Audrey!
Ami Pinks yes, I just love seeing the practical application where Audrey takes the next step and shows us how she used the inspiration with her own pieces. That just completes the process for me in a concrete way. I would LOVE to see more!
I liked the way you explained the process and the "details." Thank you so much (Audrey on a TUESDAY = SOOO GOOOOOD!!!)
For me personally, this is the most useful video you have posted for some time. Yes, please do this again for winter, spring and summer! Re-thinking existing wardrobe items is so helpful to avoid denuding the planet we all share. I’m trying to avoid buying anything new. Thank you!
Wow, reverse searching is a genius idea! I would never have thought to do that.
yes! I am all about shopping your closet and socks with shoes! Great video as always Audrey! xx
This is a great tutorial for people, like me, that are fashion-challenged. I would love more videos like this.
Thank you for more great info! Please do create more videos like this.
Please consider creating videos on:
- choosing the right neutrals for your skin tone and how many neutrals should pick
- colors that go well with each set of neutrals
-mixing neutrals
- working with gray. I can never get it quite right
-how to find a good scarf second hand
- wearing hair accessories like barrettes, headbands, without looking like a little girl or over done
- maintaining or fixing clothing and how to work with a tailor
- DIY fixes like adding new buttons and where to find great buttons, adding trim etc
- 10 ways to wear: a belt, blazer, long sleeved t, flats, white button up, lace up shoes like wingtips, cardigan, leggings, basic black or single colored midi dress
- working with camel and beige as neutrals. For example, if you wear a camel skirt in winter, what color tights do you wear?
- how to choose things like canes or flat shoes for women with mobility disabilities
- wearing pins or brooches
- tricky winter layers like tights, umbrellas, raincoats
- basic no makeup makeup look
- styling earrings or bracelets.
Thank you 😊
All the looks you re-created are so beautiful, uncluttered and simply sophisticated.
What a great way to look at the pieces that you already own. Great technique.
Yes Audrey ❇️ Please continue to do this type of styling our wardrobe vid ❇️
Ellie Roberts I had to google wingtips, as I’ve never heard that before. We call them brogues, but wingtips sounds more fun!
I can’t wait to get to this point; I’m still trying to build a curated closet of things that fit me.
I would love for you to do more of these videos.
Audrey, I love your channel, but especially this series of fall wardrobe inspiration. especially this video inspired me not only to use the things I already own, but through a modern twist work with them and make them feel hew and more current
I like that you don’t take white out of option on fall or winter. Thank you for you advises. I love your Chanel.
Well said...btw I'm 5'3 also😊
She doesn't look 5'3" either!
Audrey, in every case, you IMPROVED the inspiration outfit.
Wonderful tips to rethink our wardrobes. Please do this seasonally. Would love it if you did!
Shopping in my own closet and pairing with new eyes is going to be fun! Thanks for some style inspiration!
The pre loved slingback is beautiful
I loved this video! I struggle with weight gain-weight loss-weight gain and so forth, so it's very hard for me to keep tabs on my wardrobe. So many items that don't fit that each season I end up buying stuff I don't really need. I need to go back to basics, and this video helped me a lot.
Thank you for making these videos! I'll say that even as a guy, there are things we can learn from these styling tips as well. Appreciate it.
Love your version of the black and camel with the b\w coat!!!!💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Hi Audrey, I always do this inspiration technique, such fun. All the outfits were classic and beautiful but the pieces you coordinated from your own wardrobe were by far the most stunning! Thank you.
This was absolutely wonderful. I’m a new mom and I got into a fashion slump, post baby. You invigorated my love of some of my pieces to style into Fall. I discovered you recently and have really been digging in - love your channel!
I love listening to your soothing voice and the styling tips you generously share. 😊
Audrey, your videos are so helpful. Seeing this one got me wondering how you organize your closet. Do you group seasonal outfits together in any way. Or reorganize clothes/shoes/jewelry as part of this process.
So look for to your gracious, graceful, grace-filled videos Audrey! You have so inspired me, thank you.
I have a white midi skirt just like the one you've styled for my elopement... I'm so glad I've seen it and got inspiration on how to use it again after the ceremoney! xxx
Great ideas….love the socks with wing tips…..one of my favorites!
I loved your video: the fact that you broke your analysis into pieces made me realize that I can also do this! By myself!
I would love more videos like this one!
„Fashion should be FUN!“ With Your videos it is fun. Many thanks from Germany! 🥰
