CHI, it is always so fun to watch your videos. After having baby, the stomach area is never the same. Women with 6-packs after baby is rare. All these tips are very helpful for most women regardless how big a tummy she has. I especially like how comfortable you are in your own skin..... You show the real women's imperfections and teach us how to dress to look our best. I love how real and practical you are.
Yes, and I did get thin again, even though second child weighed 9 lbs, 9 oz.! But I should have exercised anyways. Now at 66, tummy pops right back out. Mommies: do some tummy toning, even if you think you don't need it, your older self will thank you. That said, six pack abs are not what new moms should worry about, unless their profession requires it.
Don't feel bad, I've never had children and my stomach is an issue in my forties, as well. I'm sure my thyroid issue doesn't do me any favors though. It looks like I would do well to watch more of her videos, myself.
My daughter got her 6 pack, after big weight gain, and 2 babies. But she really had to work for it. You really can only do it by eating in a way that is impossible to maintain and working out with weights daily.
@@johannaholmgren8088 it does take hard work to stay fit. Your daughter is very determined and works extremely hard to get her six pack back. That is a great achievement. For me, I hate weights although I know it is necessary to maintain bone density. I swim two or three times a week, with a core routine in the GYM. It has served me well. I don’t have six pack, but lean and proportional. It is a lot easier to maintain the exercise routine when it is not extreme. Remember what it must feel like to short round people when someone who is tall and slim is ashamed of a sightly stretched or pooched stomach. If that is something to hide then how can we even leave the house?
You made this one for me. I had a flat stomach a long time ago. I’m ok with my older woman figure but still want to look nice. These are great tips along with focusing the outfit on another part of my body: neckline, shoulders, ankles and legs. Thanks for another great video!

Chi, I love this video. Your videos are so well done. You put your heart and soul into this channel and your content is amazing. You also deliver your content in such a clear and concise way that I can remember what to do. You present the problem, give examples and then provide the solution. I am so engaged right from the beginning. I stumbled upon your channel 2 weeks ago as I decided to clear out everything in my closet that I do not wear and only keep the things that I wear all the time. Your channel has helped me to purge while helping me understand my own aesthetic. It is also helping me to be more organized. I have even been taking pictures of myself in the outfits that I like and that I wear on a regular basis so I can take a good look at my style. This makes my life less dressed and more organized and on time😀I turned 50 on the 14th and I now only have items in my closet that work best for me. Thank you for your content and thank you for the hard work that you put into sharing your tips and wisdom around petite dressing.

I know my weight is not the problem, but I do have a tummy that I accentuate daily! I will try your advices for sure! This is a timeless video for women of all age!
Good to know those tips. I don't have big tummy, but I suffer from IBS and I often have belly that looks like I was pregnant. That's why I also have problems with belts, trousers, skirts, that are not elastic enough or have gum on top, so it's not squizzing my stomach to the point I cannot breathe. Maybe you can show some tips for bloaters like me? 😊
You made a perfect video. Thank you. I wondered why sometimes I looked so trim and other clothing I wore made me look bigger? It was the exact way you were describing it on what I was wearing.
I wear low rise jeans because I am short waisted and other jeans are not at all comfortable when I'm sitting. I do have a tummy and I get your point. I'm 5'5 with a 32" inseam size 3 Jr's. I haven't found many good options on the market that look nice and fit comfortably. Thank you for your video.
Thank you for this! I recently have a pooch from health issues and it’s really hard to feel good in my clothing (especially being used to a smaller belly) I needed some info to feel good 😊 💕
Thank you soooooo much for those tips! While I’m comfortable in my own body now, all the pregnancy jokes cuz of my tummy nearly turned me bulimic (especially as a 21 year old), and these tips will definitely help stop those comments!

"no where to go but to pop out" - oh this is so real! I love these timely tips as i am planning to feast during the chinese new year and that tummy is surely going to seek attention!
A few years ago I got a pleated jeans from my mom. She used to wear it before she got pregnant with me, and didn't fit into it anymore afterwards. The jeans lay in my wardrobe for such a long time unused, as I didn't want to wear it because I thought it looked sooo old fashioned. I have recently rediscovered it and I love it! It also has some stitched ornament at the top, that looks like it simulates a v-hem. My new favorite jeans 😊
this was pretty informative! my mother is in her senior years and loves to dress herself up, but she gets really conscious of her belly (she underwent C-section for all us siblings) ... she mostly ends up wearing new clothes twice or thrice then getting shy to wear them again which i think is a waste, not to mention she has a lot of clothes that will work with the tips in this video i want to support her since she seems to have fun dressing up, but i dont know much about fashion either hahaha ill help her out with arranging her clothes next time she goes out
I like living with the illusion that my tummy issues are the same as this beautiful woman's (ha!). But seriously, thank you for the tips and the honesty. Much appreciated!
Such an excellent video! I would just add: posture! It's incredible how much bad posture can make you stick out your tummy and lose control of your abs. I know going to chiropractors is expensive but I assure you it's worth it! The benefits are so integral to your whole being, psychologically as well as physically 🙏
I am happy to see such video as I looked everywhere and have never seen anyone with the same body as mine. Even though I'm pretty skinny I carry a lot fat in my stomach which has always made me insecure. I feel less alone in my pyhsique and now I finally have some advice how to be more confident in my body in clothes! (Sorry for any bad English)

Great tips. Although I am not overweight, I will never have a flat tummy after having 3 kids, never did anyway. I've spent my life "holding my tummy in", also I am 5' 1" so being short doesn't help either. I love you channel. Thanks.

I know you only wanna help, and I appreciate it a lot! But all through this video I couldn't stop thinking: "What if society just accepted that People have tummys and we didn't have to hide them to feel beautiful?" Can you even imagine how that would feel? ❤️
I felt the same way. I am petite and have a tummy and I just don't care =)
And I thought you look beautiful in almost all the outfits, hidden tummy or not hidden tummy 🤷
Yes I feel the same way society suck but at the same time I wanna look pretty so this video is for meeee😂
Society doesn’t care. It’s mostly you (in general) who care.
You don’t have to hide it - but this video is for people who want/choose to.
That would feel wonderful ❤️
People won't be body shamed anywhere ever 💜
Thanks for the distinction on different styles of pleated pants. I wrote those off years ago, but will now know to to look. Great video overall, Chi!
Yes! You're welcome!
This is fabulous! I’ve always had a stomach, even when I weighed 125 pounds. It’s always been my conscience spot. Thank you so much! Now to add this to the big bust video….
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like them and it was helpful! ❤️❤️
Happy birthday!! 🥳
Wonderful tips! You looked fabulous in every outfit. It's so nice to have someone who actually has a tummy showing ideas.
I love your tips and tricks! Thank you so much for sharing these! I'm a 5'1" woman that used to be thin, but gained some curves after children and during perimenopause. It really boosts one's confidence when you feel good about how you look.
You're so welcome!
...you make me laugh!...all, such truthful hints!....people don't realize these points....good job! 😊💕👍
I love to get peplum blouses, they are so hard to come by especially for petite sizes though, and the same goes with pleated pants too. Thank you for sharing these tips, more power to you and your channel🤲
Thank you, Glenda! Glad you like it!
ive got a petite frame but not petite length , peplems are to high on me .. past my natural waist ...
If you have some sewing skills, you may want to buy some fabric and add the ruffles to your other blouses.
Thank You for the basic tips that’ll help but the problem i don’t have budget to redo my old style that really makes me look bigger
I'm a bigger size and I just love watching your videos because they are so practical and body positive
Glad you like it!
I love the 3 colums of colour hack! It's so easy and effective 😊
I have made all the mistakes you mentioned and I'm gonna keep everything you said in mind, thanks
Thank you so much! I'm quite small and young, but since I never had a sense of fashion, I make almost every mistake mentioned in this video! I know my weight is not the problem, but I do have a tummy that I accentuate daily! I will try your advices for sure! This is a timeless video for women of all age!
You're welcome! ❣️
I love how you combine your helpful tips and your sense of humor!! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you like them!
Thank you for these great tips! Wearing all black with a different color jacket is one of my fav 😏
For sure!
Ditto
You made a perfect video. Thank you. I wondered why sometimes I looked so trim and other clothing I wore made me look bigger? It was the exact way you were describing it on what I was wearing.
Thank you so much Chi. I do have a bit of a belly and no waist. I hope these tips will help
I recently have a pooch from health issues and it’s really hard to feel good in my clothing (especially being used to a smaller belly) I needed some info to feel good 😊 💕
Loves these tips. Nothing wrong with a belly as long as you are healthy.
Ive always done the layer trick! I always get compliments when I do that.
I am addicted to your channel! Love the humor and expertise! Thank you!!
I'm so happy to hear that, Tatiana! I really appreciate you ✨❤️
Thank you soooooo much for those tips! While I’m comfortable in my own body now, all the pregnancy jokes cuz of my tummy nearly turned me bulimic (especially as a 21 year old), and these tips will definitely help stop those comments!
Your tips and tricks are always spot on..you don’t have to wear it just because its trendy
This was very helpful and well done! I’m not petite but I do share the tummy issue and I will take these recommendations to my wardrobe. Thank you
Love your videos- they are straight forward and just make sense . Love the 3 columns tip totally works . I'm 52 and have learnt loads from your videos !!! Could you do one about dressing your age but not looking frumpy and petite dressing when you have a short waist , big boots. Thankyou
This is the best video I've watched about this topic. As a personal stylist I struggle finding good examples for my clients with this case, and this is perfect! 👌🏼
Thanks Lida! 🥰
Hi ! Chili ,
Thank you , so much for your wisdom and advice , I've been watching your videos for some time now , and have even taken serious notes and drawn diagrams to help me make right choices , but watching your videos always brings a big smile to my face , and complete enjoyment as you entertainingly show us the way !
Thank you again ! 💓 Catherine .
Thank you so much, Catherine!
This is great. I'm 5ft 3 & small all over, apart from my tummy. I've always had one, even before I had my 3 children. I thought I was abnormal..I'm glad I'm not alone 🙂
You are such fun! I love your practical advice combined with a good sense of humor. ♥
"no where to go but to pop out" - oh this is so real! I love these timely tips as i am planning to feast during the chinese new year and that tummy is surely going to seek attention!
Glad this was helpful in any ways ❤️
Loved this! However, peplum tops are tricky for me. And I will never do low rise jeans again!🤣 I'm keeping them in the late 90's /early aughts.
My new favorite jeans 😊
this was pretty informative! my mother is in her senior years and loves to dress herself up, but she gets really conscious of her belly (she underwent C-section for all us siblings) ... she mostly ends up wearing new clothes twice or thrice then getting shy to wear them again which i think is a waste, not to mention she has a lot of clothes that will work with the tips in this video
i want to support her since she seems to have fun dressing up, but i dont know much about fashion either hahaha ill help her out with arranging her clothes next time she goes out
I like living with the illusion that my tummy issues are the same as this beautiful woman's (ha!).
Love your presentation ! I found your video helpful and with a great sense of humour. Thank you so much
Thank you so much, thank you for being relatable and thank you for normalizing body types like us.
I clicked on this as I’m 5’4 and over 40 and got that mid- life tummy - thank you for this - helpful 🌷
Chi you are so funny, thank you for showing your character 🥰 I appreciate you
This was great! I'm 4'11, apple-shapped, with a tummy OMG!!!!!
Very clever ideas, Chi. I like your style and choices. Thanks for the advice - very helpful.
Best wishes from here in London.
I want to remind everyone it is totally okay if your tammy shows. This is just IF you wanna hide it! You're all perfect 😘
You are fantastic. You combine such useful information with a sense of humor. When I see your videos, I always laugh. Thank you for starting my day on an uplift.
Thanks for making me smile. After 7 babies there is no way I will not have a tummy. Even when I was a sz 4 and excessive dieting it was never flat. I have lost 28 lbs. over a year, but have stalled because of health issues. I want to lose 15 more, but will always have that tummy. Love peplums!
I'm glad that I make you smile! ☺️❤️
This is so useful for me. I'm 5'0" and I have a tummy. Very funny video too. Greetings from Argentina.
Great tips. Although I am not overweight, I will never have a flat tummy after having 3 kids, never did anyway. I've spent my life "holding my tummy in", also I am 5' 1" so being short doesn't help either. I love you channel. Thanks.
This was great! I like that you help us feel more comfortable and confident in our clothes. 💕
Thank you so much to make this video for those having a big tummy like me ! Must follow you and see how to make myself much prettier in future .
thank you for sharing this! i struggle with huge belly since i am on medication for years and have gained a lot of weight especially in the belly
Thank you Rachael! I am glad to be useful!!
Chi! You are so funny and very informative! All of your tips are wonderful! Thank you so much 😊
Thanks! So glad you like it!
i laughed out loud when you sat down in those low rise jeans (been there done that 😂). i tried to explain to my husband why i was laughing. He didn’t get it which made me laugh again.
Oh goodness I can’t live without your videos! This was awesome and very informative!!
Wow, thank you!
