I'm about 15 minutes deep and I feel like I'm learning SO MUCH about Dead Cells just by osmosis hahaha, you guys are awesome I'm right on the border of finishing my first ever 0BC run, and have really been loving your videos as I'm learning man! Hope you keep it going, either with DC or Rogue Prince of Persia if you end up digging it ❤️

man back in the day on my nintendo switch 0bc was pretty easy but i couldnt beat 1 bc, now on my ps5 new account sometimes i can barely get to high peak castle
Should have rerolled the carbine to get bonus to poison. I definitely pick wish a ton too. Almost every run I go for something with Wish in Ancient Sewers or if I see an early cursed biome.
I feel that hemorrhage works great with throwing knife. You can kill annoying bundled mobs with the knife and the hemorrhage can wreck the big strong elites and bosses, plus instant crit because of the throwing knife.
Thank you both, it was a joy to watch. I've got a couple of questions for Modesto. why ignore the chest doors ( it was on one of the sewer biomes and in the cavern)? Why do you dislike melee? I got really used to it and for me it helps with the parry timings. What are your thoughts on playing on custom mode? Did you use it back when you still had less experience with all the different colors/builds?
Glad you enjoyed! I think skipping chest doors is to save time since you'll get better item quality is in shops - Modesto does that all the time in his showcases when he's usually using just one or a couple of specific things in custom mode. Will leave the questions to him if he has a chance to answer, though!
Hello ! Thanks for the comment ❤ So I'm gonna try to answer every question: I usually skip doors for the time save, as DG mentioned. I've come to enjoy melee a bit more over time, but I still really dislike that it changes the enemy's attack animations, I'd rather parry or dodge than just slow them down. And I'm 100% ok with using custom mode, it's what I do when I'm trying to do a specific showcase for something, and I always recommend it to people that are starting out or having a hard time with the game.

@@matesajben5274 Thanks again ! I'm glad you're still playing, custom mode is awesome ! Also I just prefer to hack away with the katana, I fell like I do more dps by just slicing, but I never learned all the katana tech there is so I might be using it wrong
This really would’ve helped until I realized I was using my friends netflix to play deadcells and can’t play nomoh since he changed passes (75 hours gone 😭😭😭😭😭😭)
Tbh the enemies from the end is nigh update are so non-threatening. It really feels like they were really careful not to make them too dangerous. The crow kid is so often near crowds of enemies, that you kill him and instantly cure the curse The soviet grandma looking only applies 1 stack. And her stun can just be avoided by rolling The witch is somewhat threatening. It usually just turns into a dance when in a room with her. That or you parry the curse.
Hi, can u guys tell me whats is the green squares around secrets in walls and ground? Can it be enabled somewhere in settings or its modification? Thanks!
