when I noticed you worshipping the diablo at about :40 seconds, yeah, I unsubscribed and were no longer watching your videos, now I understand why you wewre on the TV and had a TV show. you guys sold yourselves, good luck.
I understand that the Iron Maiden Concert footage is out of context if you don’t know who Bruce Dickinson is. So for those who don’t, he is a 737, 747 and 757 pilot who also sings in a band called Iron Maiden who have been popular since the early 80’s. He was playing a concert in Edmonton the same time our Boeing was there too. He made sure that we got 27 tickets to the show so a lot of the Buffalo crew working on the 737 could go and have a night off. Why does Bruce care about our 737… he helped me find it and his company did the first inspection of the aircraft through a company he owns called Caerdav which is a MRO for Boeings (and other AC). We have been working with Bruce now for over ten years and has appeared in a few Ice Pilots Episodes and a handful of my UA-cam videos. 2nd, that is not the devil in the video, it’s Eddie and he is a zombie lol 😂
LMAO WAY TO OUT YOURSELF TO BE A NPC SMOOTH BRIAN CLOWN PLEB hahahah wow are u going to apologize now like a man, or hide in shame after that debacle of yours?
I'd prefer something for YT with less of the manufactured drama that Discovery put into Ice Pilots. More like what Tekamo HD do with their HD mechanics doing service calls etc, it's more realistic and would give people a better understanding of what goes into running a small-medium sized aviation business like Buffalo.
I am so glad to see Chuck is still with you guys. I watched ice pilots before I was an AME, and Chuck was my favorite. Now that I have been in the game for 13 years, I can really appreciate some of the knowledge and wisdom of the old timers, even though most of them are pretty jaded by times! Congrats on the 37, thats a massive change, hopefully for the better. New aircraft types are very intimidating to some of us. I'm not really able to discuss the company I work for, but we are going through so pretty hefty changes ourselves. Staffing of AMEs and pilots is very tight, but we will get there and be better for it, just like everyone at Buffalo will!
Same where I'm at, we're definitely feeling the pinch of the pilot and AME/LAME shortage here in Australia. I finished my apprenticeship in 2013, still enjoying the industry all these years later.
Damn it, Mikey, your videos always have a way of tugging at my heart strings. Ice Pilots, Planesavers, and the countless other videos you've shared - you guys may be 2000 miles away but seeing Buffalo and your amazing planes and people always warm my heart. Congratulations on the amazing new plane, may she give you many years of service. Thank you so much for sharing - and please keep sharing. I'll never grow tired of seeing new videos from you!
Yeah. Boeing is an abject lesson in why you NEVER put bean counter leading a company that's has a core value of safety and performance. They are absolutely clueless and almost downright malevolent and they'll end up ruining the company guaranteed, 100%.
@@windanthonystream It's important to note that the rudder servo valve was not unique to Boeing and not a Boeing design. It was designed and manufactured by Parker-Hannifin. And was used on several Aircraft models, not just the 737. It's also important to note that EVERY servo recovered from wreckage worked perfectly under extensive testing. It was only when a very specific set of parameters were met that it failed. This was NOT a case of lax quality control or corner cutting. Of course, it's much simpler and easier to just say it was a Boeing design flaw.
Love the 737! n Bruce Too! Lol so very cool to see! : ) Mikey,Joe! & The Buffalo family! Wow what a great edition to the fleet! It's a beautiful plane Mikey,Cheers!🍻To continued success, health & happiness.✌🏼💫
Thanks for the update Mikey, I’m sure you guys are all very busy getting the new 737 to pay for itself! I’m sure many of us would love to see some more regular (even short) updates. We miss you!
That's a beautiful airplane! Congratulations to the Buffalo team! You guys deserve this after all of the long hours and cold nights that you guys and gals have put in over the years. There is nothing sweeter than success. I hope you can do another series of Ice Pilots! Cheers!
Had the privilege to spend 45 mins on the flight deck of a 757 with Bruce back in 2001, when we worked for the same company. We talked planes for 45 mins, while he had a coffee (that the chief pilot made) he is such an awesome dude. Nice one Captain, well done Buffalo.
Best looking 737 ever.. love the livery.. Great team you have there, looking forward to more.. Im chuffed for your Dad he must be very proud you're following in his footsteps and growing the business.. I can imagine the tough decisions and sleepless nights to get this far.. best of luck and success keep it going.. 👍👍
I am glad I found your channel, I miss the gang since the ending of your Ice Pilots series, even my mother would watch them with my brother and I. I am very glad Bruce Dickinson was instrumental in getting you that nice jet, we all feel like you became part of our family. Lots of Love!
Awesome to see the -300 with Buffalo livery. I looked up the registration history and found it was delivered to Piedmont Airlines (yes the great airline) in 1986, and I rode jumpseat on N323P from IAH--CLT that very same year. What a great history this ole bird has, GO MIKEY.
So awesome to see y'all growing and thriving. Keep the old recips flying as long as you can, but gather a fleet of these excellent 737s for the future!
Alaska has always been a special aviation environment. I have an affection for the old commercial airlines like Markair, Reeve Aleutian Airways and Wien Air Alaska. I watch ice pilots and even though you are not a passenger carrier, it's still fascinating to see the everyday exploits. I'm glad that you finally got jet aircraft. Many blessings to you !!!
Great to hear from you Mikey and good to see the 737 put to work! She’s a beauty, it’d be interesting to hear about the efficiency gains using her from the guys who fly the routes. Speed, ease of loading, unloading, maintenance etc.
When I saw the title "Who is in the cockpit of our new Boeing?" my first reaction was : the FAA checking for loose bolts and missing pins. So I had a look at the video and I was wrong .....
I love it!! There is just something safe and reassuring about an all aluminum 737, with torque tubes, cables, no fly-by-wire. The sound of the zero, or near zero bypass engines! They really, really built them well!! I hope these stay around for a long time! And it looks great with the Buffalo logo on it!! Congrats to Mikey and everyone at Buffalo Air!!! 8) --gary
Welcome back to UA-cam, missed you up there. Good to see you guys with the Guppy. 50 years PanAm/United, know it well. Hope you get a chance to re evaluate your old projects, sure was afun time following you guys on that. As an A&P, it was fun to see that school and how you all do things, above the boarder. All those students,(a follow up) would be neat to see where they ended up. Well take care of tat new bird, good luck in its use. Only tip, make sure there is a FOD walk on those runways and taxiway, this aircraft is a whole lot less forgiving, and parts a twice as much!!
It's always a delight to watch your videos. And that arrival of the C46, filmed through the door of the 737, gave a superb character to this video. In one image, what Buffalo is. Apart from Bruce, of course, he is a unique character in his own right.
I miss your show… and this is awesome to see you have a newer piece of aviation gear to help you grow and service your customers up there. BRAVO!! btw. That is some of the smoothest Takeoff and landings I’ve seen.
So wonderful to see your Buffalo family's overall transition to the jet era. Sad in some ways but exhilarated in others knowing that your skies are so much wider now. Best of luck to you and the extended family we know and love, Mikey! Carry on the fine tradiition...

Did u delete my comment? why? @@MikeyMcBryan
@@KuostA I don’t see your comment anywhere. If it had a link. YT filters those out a lot of the times.
This new addition to the fleet should be the reason they make another series of ice pilots! I would watch it religiously, that 737 is gorgeous!
Addition.

@auntysocialist totally agree!
Nothing was more fun than Old Joe telling trans Canada to pound sand when he didn’t agree with something.
@4:45 "where's the props" I love that guy. Glad to see he's still around.
Post more please mike
yes!! Agree!
YEEEEEEESSSSSS PLEASE!
Yes please
He’s Canadian. He can only do so much.
Ice Pilots was a brilliant series, I still can't get enough of it tens years on.
From Ice Pilots to Plane Savers to a 737. What a ride, Mikey! Congratulations!
this is like seeing a bunch of old friends. You guy have to do some more episodes of ice pilots
for sure

Keep em coming Mikey 👍
Chuck has hardly changed in 10 years 😂
"Chuckie?".. YEAH....
He gets a birthday this year because its a leap year again! I remember when he turned 13! 🤣
Old engineers never change, they just get grumpier 😂
Chuck's just trying to prepare himself for the sheer number of things that can go wrong on an aircraft of this size and complexity.
Congrats! 737 is the work horse of the aviation world since 1969! Loved seeing Bruce Dickinson !
Good lookin' bird. Chuck. Master of Understated Enthusiasm.
My god! We need ice pilots back. It’s really is like remembering old story’s with mates at the Pub 😢 Love you guys ❤
I love that the panel is basically all steam gauges. That is so fitting for Buffalo.
Glad to see chuck still around.
She's a beauty. I know you all worked hard for this. So happy for the whole Buffalo Airways family!
Holy shit, you had Bruce Dickinson in the cockpit?!?! Awesome!
Bruce and Buffalo go back a ways.
It is awesome to see buffalo airways buying a Boeing 737

Great to see Buffalo back on UTube again. Love the paintwork on that 737.
Great to see you back on UA-cam, Mikey! More, please!
This is the good 737 to have, before the design flaws started to happen. Bruce is a special person, seems to be useful and good at whatever he touches
Yeah. Boeing is an abject lesson in why you NEVER put bean counter leading a company that's has a core value of safety and performance. They are absolutely clueless and almost downright malevolent and they'll end up ruining the company guaranteed, 100%.
My understanding is that Bruce was the one who lined this plane up for Mikey to buy.
Good to see he is continuing to support Buffalo.
This generation had design flaws when it first came out. The rudder servo valve that was fixed.
