I have no idea why I am so interested in this flight. Loved the show many years ago and excited to see Mikey doing well in the business. His Dad, Buffalo Joe, must be just so proud of him. He really has taken over the family business and I cannot wait to see this company expand even more. Its such a Canadian thing I can see them branching out maybe one day to cities all over Canada.
You should watch mikey and a team of volunteers rescue a rotting dc3 on his Hanney called it planesavers.. A year of prep and in 60 days they got a vandalised rotting bird back in the sky with help of his uncle ronnie
For the north and the people who depend on Buffalo Airways, 2ESKA is a very special bird indeed - yet one more game-changer in a long line of game-changers for Buffalo!
Thanks for sharing this historic event for Mikey, Buffalo Airways, and us patriotic Canadian fans of Buffalo Airways! This is the right move for Buffalo Airways to keep competive in air freight industry, though my heart goes out to propeller powered aircraft and still does!
Yep, she landed here in Edmonton a few days ago, and it’s great. I love the 737-300, I’ve flown on it personally and it’s great to see Buffalo Airways start to “modernize” their fleet a little bit! (As much as I love their vintage DC-3 fleet haha)
The old reliable 300, my fav 737. Paint looks great, I'm sure Mikey and Joe will love it! Joe will have to start buying old CFM56's now! LOL 8). They must have an arrival video, I'll have to go congrat them. Thanks for putting this up!! --gary
Was in Yellowknife a few days before the arrival of the Boeing, such electric excitement around the hanger etc about its potential arrival. Would have liked to have been there a few days longer. Koodoo’s to Poppa Joe and Mikey’s. Regards to you both for the excellent tour of the facility and the treatment like we were part of the crew Regards Jim and Elona W
Appreciate your efforts and quality Editing & Camera work a absolutely amazing view of this amazing plane for Buffalo Air Cheers from Sask Canada!🙂✌🏼👍🏼
Thank you buddy! Ahh not spoke to you for awhile glad to see your channel is still going well! I switched to aviation I’m a huge AVgeek haha! Yeh the vids have done really well, Gona be hard to match these in future vids! Was an awesome day filming.
Buffalo enters the jet age, proper. Yes, I know the Electras are turbo props, but this is an proper jet propelled aircraft. Is it full of Electra parts? LOL
Fitting that there should be so much jet wash on the runway,,,, almost looks like a winter takeoff in Canadas’s north Congrats to Mike his dad Joe and all the Buffalo team Well deserved
@@Nomadicv1 well done great video and yes would have been great video as mikey said 2nd most tracked flight yesterday. You caputered history buffalo airways enters jet age
Is chuck still around and if so what does he think of the new jet 737 ,he always complained about the prop planes , he might just be out of a job . I still watch the old tv shows and would love to see mikey and the crew in the modern version on tv with the new 737 .
Trust Buffalo to get a "new"non EFIS 733 in this day and age of touchscreen glass in flight decks everywhere else! This is the reason they have such a visceral appeal!!
The one thing that grievesme is that the original 737 was a design put forward in response to a specification BA ste out. Then when de Havilland tendered it BA turned round and said "sorry, we're not in the market for that type of aircraft. I've never had much time for BA since. Not a particularly good airline anyway.
Awesome watch and how amazing for Buffalo! Joe will be so proud of Mikey and his team! Why's it wearing a Guernsey 2- registration?? It's even got KA on nose gear door. Or is that it's new rego?
Does anyone know if these boys still have those DC3's that started Buffalo Air??? These guys have worked so hard for so many years to serve so many people up there in the North 👍👍👍 Congrats to the Buffalo family 👏👏👏
I think you shall find that Buffalo have operated the CL44 previously, I have mentioned to Mikey previously that this was in storage at Bournemouth....should he wish to save another aeroplane
It was a different Buffalo Airways that operated the Conroy CL44 Skymonster. AFAIK, this is the last surviving complete CL44. There is a thread in the PPRuNe forum that suggested that the log books had gone missing and, for that and a number of other reasons, it was very unlikely to fly again. Despite that, engine runs have taken place on a number of occasions since it arrived at Bournemouth about 20 years ago.

Let’s hope so! This is a huge step forward for them 🙏 it’s great to see

Think of the possibilities!
Please tell me what kind of show it was ? I’m never heard about this airline before.
Awesome, it exciting, takes me way back to the excitement I felt when I got my Red Schwinn for Christmas five decades ago.
Ok, seeing the CL-44 Guppy fully intact in the background just made this twice as good
Haha ✈️
I'm happy for you guys. Arny would have been ecstatic. Looks beautiful in the Buffalo livery

An absolute pleasure
I'm not a cCanadian and have never flown with Buffalo but I have a soft spot for them. A small family run concern what's not to like?
Absolutely remarkable 🇨🇦
Bush bush pilot to 737
What and achievement
I love Joe ❤️
Watched every episode over and over
😊Empty take off like a rocket 🚀
You know, in some ways we all fly for Buffalo Airways. I think the reaction and enthusiasm re this 737 coming on strength speaks to that.
There is certainly a lot of love
Impressive jet blast during takeoff 🙂 Nice close up walk around. Well made video mate !
Thank you buddy appreciate it ✈️
Waoo is wonderfull this airplane and good the power engine .Congratulations
i was tearin up when she took off!
That CL-44 Guppy on the airfield would be a useful addition to the Buffalo fleet too 😁
Pretty sure it would interest Joe a lot more! Looks similar to the Electra from what I could tell in the video.
Beutiful aircraft...congrats, Mikey and Buffalo Air..
Great shots loving the wet rwy departure ...cool!!!
Thanks 🙏
Now that's a proper classic, steam gauges and everything! Love it!
Great to see Bournemouth summer holiday weather doesn’t disappoint 😂

Watched the first several years of Buffalo flying shows. Nice to see this addition to their capabilities. Continued success.

Good video as always and the plane is good and takeoff as well!! 🙌✈️🛫🛫

Absolutely, be sure to stay tuned I have all the cockpit footage from the flight
2ESKA just north of Lynn Lake, Manitoba.

So very happy for all at Buffalo. How cool is it to fly a 737...in your street clothes?!? Best wishes to Buffalo! ❤🛫
...and as the Lead Singer of Iron Maiden!
Any mods planned for it like the Quiet Wing flap droop system, auxiliary fuel tanks, or winglets?
I’m unsure what there plans are mate
I'm surprised they didn't put bids on on Canadian Norths 732's when they were being retired, i think they had gravel kits and all.
It's about time Buffalo Airways modernize its fleet!
Did you guys put new engines on it, or did it come with those?
I'm surprised no gravel kit.
Looks dope!
awesome!
😎
Awesome watch and how amazing for Buffalo!

Why's it wearing a Guernsey 2- registration??
It's even got KA on nose gear door.

Even though this is a cargo only aircraft I am surprised that there is no emergency slide pack attached to the forward left cabin door.

Just landed! 😁👍
Awesome
Will you be bringing this bird to Springbrook AB. 🇨🇦
I was trying to see her go off on a flight tracker.what time did she depart in the end
14:52 she was rolling down the runway

Almost there 55 minutes before landing in Edmonton
Do you think they will add the livery into msfs
I believe it already is
Maybe I missed it, but it would have been nice to know where it was flying from, UK I guess, as it was wet 🤣🤣. Hope all goes well.👍🛫
Yes Bournemouth in the Southwest England
I hope Buffalo has spares for this bird, especially landing gear…
Saludos amigo estoy emocionado por buffalo airwais y su nuevo 737
Why were the Buffalo colors and markings put on before arriving in Canada ?
Probably was cheaper to do it in the uk
Deffo cheaper to do it in the UK.
Thank you so much for doing this for Mikey bro and for the rest of us who follow his channel. That plane sure stands out. Safe travels. Ken in NZ.
No problems at all it was a blast!
