- The most perfectly sorted Daytona we have ever handled and breathtakingly beautiful in its original colour combination.
This example is 1 of only 158 UK right-hand drive cars, of which only 13 were finished in the stunning Marrone Metallizzato and fresh from a total refurbishment by marque experts Cremonini Carrozzeria and Autofficina Bonini.
Very few owners from new and single ownership since 1991, where it has resided alongside some of the worlds greatest cars.
The car still retains its original chassis, body and engine plus most of its original interior including the leather seats, carpets and its factory fitted air conditioning. Ferrari ‘Red Book’ Classiche certification has been applied for and acceptance is expected shortly.
Displaying only 21,566 miles, which is believed to be the original mileage from new and supported by its documented history file. It is also offered complete with books and a tool roll.
A truly stunning car and an absolute pleasure to get behind the wheel. - Авто та транспорт
The perfect example of a time when they still knew how to build cars with a soul. No contemporary car can even come close. Thank you. This made my day :)
This is how you do a UA-cam car video. Pure CLASS. Well done, Tom.
Thanks Richard!
Have to say credit where it's due. The restoration and rebuild has allowed the rebirth of an absolute stunner. Great work.
The car looks newer now than it did in 1972. Beautiful.
One of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen. It looks more stunning than ever in that color.
Absolutely beautiful, and well done for putting it back to its original colour. 🤎🤎🤎🤎
Not many cars look good in brown, but we couldn't resist putting this one back to its original colour.
I was accelerating hard down a freeway on-ramp in my Ferrari 308 GT4 when there was the sound like a huge sheet of tearing canvas. It was not my gearbox shredding but the sound made by the V12 of a yellow Daytona as it sped past me like I was standing still.
There are 3 Ferrari models that take my breath away. This is one of them. I wouldnt have guessed that I'd like this color combination as much as I do. But I love it! Gorgeous automobile!!!
What a stunning example the epitome of style
The color of this car should have never been changed. What an incredible color. Well done. Beautiful.
My goodness what a beautiful work of art and what a spectacular noise. This has always been my grail Ferrari, even when friends had the Testarossa pictures on their wall I had the Daytona.
A wonderful presentation of a stunning car.
Gorgeous Patek Phillipe too.
Thanks Jonathon!
Absolutely splendid Daytona! I've never seen a Daytona so thoroughly described and presented. Thank you!
Stunning car , beautiful interior , I loved the under bonnet shots , throttles opening up on the carbs .
What a amazing noise !
It's even better in person!
Absolute perfection on the restoration. Incredible 365 GTB.
This car fits you perfect, Tom.
Right decision on the color.
That paintwork and interior is beautiful. What a great place it must be to sit in.
It really is!
Fascinating video. That engine sounds really amazing on film , can't imagine what it's like in real life ! Superb car. Thanks for sharing 👍
Whenever you hear it on film, times it by 100 and it'll give you an idea of what it's like in real life!
A friend of my father showed up one rainy night with this exact car when it was brand-new. Awesome car.
In the exact car? Chassis #15981
@@TomHartleyJnrLtd No just the same model and color.
Simply stunning, absolutely gorgeous 😍.
Couldn't agree more!
I can't believe I'm actually about to say this but how plain does it look in red after you've seen it in that colour?
A stunning colour isn't it!?
Totally stunning love that colour it just pops
I love the dedication and the focus on small but important details!
Open trumpets...think that is a must. Another excellent video, thank you!
Restoring the original color was spot on. Truly a remarkable example of automotive genius and so well presented. Well done.
Thanks Gregg!
My absolute favorite car ... If I had to only choose 1 car forever , This is it !!
Good call!
My all time favourite car so beautiful.
Gorgeous colour. Great video. Thank you Mr H.
Thanks Martin - we'll keep them coming!
I love this colour combination!
Fantastic colour
Just stunning, loved the driving segment too :)
Thanks Dayno!
I love the sound of the V12 when he lets it go. What a fabulous car.
I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this! The last comment about the engine being built so well made me laugh out loud....it brought out the child in me! 😀
Tom you deserve a medal!
Thanks Tom
I can smell the car through the internet just looking at those black clocks. Wonderous.
I would never have thought that the F40 & Daytona were related in that sense.
If you haven't seen the film gumball rally 1976 you should, there's a red Daytona Spyder racing a cobra 427 for most of the film .
Tis car is absolutely beautiful. Great restoration work.
Beautiful and classy.
Really good video. The level of detail and knowledge you have is amazing. Very interesting. Thanks for making and publishing the video.
Lovely car done to perfection .
Tom makes a fabulous video he is so passionate a proper gentleman ..
That is just stunning. The colour really shows off the line . Great work Tom. Bella macchina ❤️
Tom... Spectacular automobile just a piece of art Bravo 👏👏
Thanks Sandy!
To think back in 1971, as a teenager, in Montreal these were selling for around $20,000 cad dollars! Incredible !
Stunning is often an overused word in the car world. This car is indeed STUNNING.
This is my favorite Ferrari. I lived in Las Vegas from 1973-1974 and there was a red/orange Daytona always parked at a hotel and I adored it. I agree that is the best color I have ever seen on a Ferrari. I never saw that color before. I saw another Ferrari Daytona and it seemed to have a glass roof over the seats. I appreciate all the work you have done. You have great taste my man and a fine report on this car.
Fabulous - I saw this on your website, and pleased you've featured it. Beautiful spec.
How could we not! Thanks James!
Had to watch again. Just class
A great video as always 🙂
I’d just like to say that whoever set up the in-car side view camera did a brilliant job. Being able to see a full view of you driving the car is a nice change from the typical UA-cam car vids where the camera is tight to the driver’s upper body and face. Being able to see the full interior view, the gear stick etc really makes me feel like I’m in the car with you and adds a lot to the viewing experience. Very well done
And what a gorgeous car 🤤
Thanks Chris - appreciate the feedback!
Amazingly attractive color.... Can't say I have ever seen that particular color on a Ferrari before
Fantastic! What a great presentation, thank you
Amazing! One of the best looking Ferraris imho. And in a fantastic color! Thank you for the video 👍
I am very envious of you Tom. That car is absolutely sublime. Those looks, that sound. The daytona always reminds me of Brigitte Bardot for some reason.
Thanks Aidan!
That is a gorgeous Daytona! Also really like the 5990 Nautilus you're wearing, great taste!
Absolutely stunning beautiful restoration.
What a car.
Nice touch having a camera on the throttles, beautiful car. 👍
Thanks Lyndon!
Just beautiful.... what else can one say ...
Love it Tom! Just so you know, I drop whatever I’m doing when I see you’ve made a video, and I watch it regardless
Great to hear Richard!
Now that was a great piece on the 250 SWB.
Well done Tom and the lads, that was a pleasure to watch.
This is a great channel, this gentleman knows how to present a car. Subbed
Magnificent 👍
Thanks Rob!
Stunning example.
Great video Tom, the test drive was the icing on the cake! Cheers, Chris
Thanks 👍
Besides the Framm orange cans of death, you spared no expense!
Had a friend with a Mondial back in the day in the same livery. Gorgeous!
Simply stunning!
Tom I think your stock is amazing but you are a very smart, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It would be hard to not buy from you. I sold family cars for 25 years and had a similar mind set. I loved it.
I used to feel special in a D plate Supra, with knackered tyres. Your cars look great and I like the fact you are prepared to get the cars perfect for the next owner.
You should have placed more audio in the video. That Daytona sounds phenomenal.
Really great car, sounded very good too.
The longer you watch the video the more the paint appeals. Well sorted. As you say.
Brilliant video, very enjoyable and educational thank you for sharing.
Our pleasure Gail - glad you enjoyed it!
Wow. Stunning and great noise
Love PP Nautilus matching this car’s design perfectly.
Just love the passion
Beautiful color! It gives a vintage look!
Another excellent video....great content and informative. Looking forward to the next.
.....nice watch also.
Thanks Jeff - much appreciated!
Great video, audio sorted too 👍 and what a beautifully restored car, thanks
Thanks Barrie - glad you enjoyed it!
Well done..... SUPER!
I clicked the like at number 365...sorry, now 366, more to come I'm sure. Gorgeous work Tom.
Thanks Trevor!
My dreamcar
Just imagine getting up everyday to go and do Toms job, certainly wouldn’t be hitting that snooze button! Fantastic car, great video 👍
Tom won’t need to hit the snooze button because the outrageous price he is going to ask for the car will keep him awake nights worrying he might have overplayed his hand. (I think he’s made a safe bet. Among the super-rich these days, rarity and originality are worth a huge premium on an already valuable car that seems poised for a big jump in demand among the fashionistas.)
My all time favourite Ferrari just looks the part also do like the 550 as well
Having had the pleasure of driving a Daytona over the Brecon Beacons a decade ago - I can vouch for need for the power steering upgrade - once up to speed it was absolutely fine, but for parking and low speed manoeuvres it was positively truck like. Glorious machines - and what a peach of an example. 👍
Another great video, I enjoyed that! 👌
Just Stunning. Thanks!
I never realized how similar the Ferrari Daytona and Datsun 240z side profiles were. They’re both so beautiful.
I love Daytona’s!! One day, just maybe one day I’ll win the lottery or earn enough to own one!🙏🏽 just maybe!
What a lovely car! Also lovin' your PP.
Waooww ! All m'y kingdom for this car !
I can't imagine how this must have felt when the majority around you were driving small cars with 50-70 hp. Also a time when you could actually drive how you wanted in most European countries and experience the full ferocity of this engine constantly. Now sadly there are only a handful of countries within the EU where you drive how you want without much fear from the law.
Perfect colour scheme, I'd have anything other than red. (Subscribed!)
What an incredible car Tom!
Thanks Scott!
He's right ! Spending large sums of money to restore a beautiful car like the Daytona makes sense. This currently is estimated at a million dollars, I believe. Very rare, and sought after by collectors. Stunning video review ! Thank You for sharing !
Just like heaven. What a car.
Bravo. I am a jealous jealous man.
Nice Video. I would love if could make a Tom talks episode about your Ferrari 288 GTO Prototype. Cheers!
My childhood crush.
It's a shame the owners of cars like these never bloody uses them. 😩
Cracking video / production 👏👏👏🇦🇺
Thanks Bondy - we'll keep them coming!!
Stunning car. We drove past you when you were filming it.
You can vouch for the noice then! 😏
