This so often happens when a chief of police is ( allegedly ) running an illegal private security business. These illegal businesses use our tax payer equipment, desks, lights, telephones, cop man power and in many cases double bill the city and bill the paying customer that needs the private security services. The cop then pays the button nose chief of police a bit something something.. This is called RACKETEERING. 3 OF the criteria for RACKETEERING is hierarchy, intimidation, and fraud. There is no time off for bad cops. To the public it looks like they are on paid vacation, but mostly the cops work this illegal private security business. The only one fooled here is YOU!!!!!! Also, most cops drink vodka to sleep at night. They may have pulled you over and you would never know. Or could you. The big giveaway is the menacing, belligerent, confrontational, aggressive dangerous grainy VODKA VOICE. When you get pulled over , make as little contact with an alcoholic cop. Like any alcoholic, they are dangerous with a license to carry a gun and kill. They will testilie against you and get away with it. You are dealing with a gang with a badge.. Sometimes , with the judges there are many conflicts of interest, but you will never know. Sink your teeth into this and pass it on....And please, learn some law because obviously, the cops follow protocol not the Constitution.. Get Constitutional Law for dummies or any book. Cops don't have continuing education. Because of the rampant alcoholism, they should be breathalyzed after every incident and before they can start our tax payer police cars.. Many of these guys are void of empathy. We the People need to enforce the law.

The law of Terry Stops is going to have to catch up. When that case was handed down, very few people had the right to carry concealed weapons. Today, 2-3% of all Americans have a permit and at least a quarter of citizens live in states where no permit is required. Given that the entire premise of the case seems to be that a weapon concealed is ipso facto an indicia of criminality, that no longer seems to hold true.

Reminds of back when we had all the protests in Madison against the governor Scott Walker. A large group of people went into the capital to sing songs in protest of him in the open lobby area. He didn’t like it and tried to have a law passed where any gathering of more than 5-10 people would be considered an “event” and would need a permit that had to be signed by him, it didn’t pass. However cops still were arresting the singers for not having a permit, AND arresting SPECTATORS for “supporting an unlawful event”.
Lots of jurisdictions have permit requirements for like...large signs as part of a demonstration. But that is for like erecting makeshift billboards, having big screens on big stages, COMPLETELY different things. And this cop knows it.
Finally I found an "auditor" that's actually about something besides their own views and subscriptions!

@@dabadore. Then I'd line it out for them. I can easily prove in any court of law that any given officer broke his oath. I've taken that same oath four times now in my life. If is the topic of a paper I wrote for one of my CJ classes in undergrad.
I broke down the standard oath using the oath I swore when I entered military service in the Navy as the example.
It is amazing how many people ( including Judges, Law School Professors, and Legal Scholars in general are unaware of the logical necessity surrounding the issue of who constitutes a "Domestic Enemy of the State" and why. It is no wonder then that nearly all LEOs are unaware that by breaking their oath in the _specific_ context of nearly all audit videos, they violate federal law and ironically _become_ that from which they swore to protect us.
Why aren't they held accountable? Because only a federal prosecutor can prosecute them for the Title 18 violation and try finding a federal prosecutor who will take the time to prosecute a LEO for what is typically a misdemeanor.
Unless you have a federal prosecutor who owes you a favor, you'll not see a single LEO nationwide ever prosecuted for their criminal acts on the issue. Conclusion: the one law that could consistently be used to prosecute bad cops is window dressing with no actual useful purpose.

In Canada, the cop STILL has to have reasonable suspicion to check your outer clothes for objects, as in a pat down. Record him with your camera and THEN talk to the camera and explain that the officer can only do a pat down IF he has a raised suspicion of personal safety, like something protruding from your pockets ...so when he checks your right pocket and NOTHING is in that pocket, you just proved he DID NOT have reasonable suspicion .... why would a cop check an empty pocket first. ...he is trained to go for the object that " raised" his suspicion....right? ........

Instead of arguing "I don't need a permit, I'm not using a loudhailer", really should have countered with "Of course I have a permit, it's called the first amendment."
Actually it is very reasonable to require a permit and it wasn’t the police officers who made that law, obviously. They’re required when a protest will obstruct people’s daily life.
