2 questions.... first, why does it take a single cop an average of 12 hours to respond to a violent call, but this gang of 15 showed up in minutes? And why are there 15 cops with about 100+ weapons on them collectively, and they are harassing an unarmed journalist with a camera standing on the public sidewalk? @cvaline I think that's definitely possible. Exposing corruption even from within is not easy. The corruption sits at the top, so it's very difficult for a good man by himself to make change. Teaming up with a journalist like Sean seems to a great idea. One day I would like to see police chiefs welcome auditors and applaud them for their service just like law enforcement is often applauded for their service. Just because you aren't paid by the government, doesn't mean you aren't a public servant. Sean is surely a great public servant

the first officer, Carey #2057, is violating department uniform policy... some may say whats the big deal, so he's wearing multiple bracelets, including a political bracelet, but it goes to attention to detail and adhering to mandates, not just for the officer, but the supervisor tasked with ensuring officers are following those mandates... so when you see patrol officers violating them and supervisors failing to catch them, it shows a lack of quality and care in adhering to those carefully crafted mandates which exist not just to protect officers but the public from officers... so when you see little signs like this (which other officers weren't violating) its a warning sign which cops are FAR more likely to step outside the bounds of laws, when they can't even follow simple uniform policies, something they must deal with daily. (which likely explains his aggression and attempt to suggest ID was required because "maybe he broke a law" but maybe he didn't also, which means its not mandatory) P.S. you'll also note the older snarky officer repeatedly saying "oh a first amendment auditor" was also one who was violating uniform policy with numerous bracelets including a political bracelet, once again, against department policy... its the little details that provide the best warning signs...

There are clearly no benefits being granted to the Commissioner, everyone who calls 911 gets 7 cars coming with lights and sirens for a journalist asking you questions at their door. This is a great example of how much money is being wasted by the police on a regular basis.
