Fuel Pump Replacement - 2009-2018 Ram 1500

In this Video I replace the fuel pump on my 2016 Ram 1500 to correct a code causing the check engine light. P0463: Fuel Level Sensor 1, Circuit Too High.

Yea , i cut a nice hole in my bed and it works perfectly. My tool box sits over it along with my 20 gallon fresh water tank. No crawling around on the ground in the dirt or snow or heat . No swearing or cussing, just smiles .

I've got an '09 Dodge Ram with 165K miles and I'm getting ready to change my original fuel pump out too. Hasn't failed yet but I'm sure it could happen any time.
I've heard about guys cutting a hole in the bed to access the fuel tank and thought about doing that too. Seems that it would be a lot easier and quicker. Was it hard to do that?

@@KevinHohlstein There is no serviceable fuel filter. The filter is actually integrated into the fuel pump assembly. Many modern cars are like this.
