    Actually there is a way to discover Fatty Liver, my fatty liver showed up in an Ultrasound
    I happened to accidentally find out after having got kneed in the ribs, the doctors said I didn't need an x-ray as that will just heal in 6 weeks, but they said we will check you for internal organ damage... found no damage, yet my liver shined up white on the ultrasound, which is a key symptom of fatty liver
    I was able to reverse it because I changed my whole diets around fixing the fatty liver, and weight just fell off

    Yes. I have fatty liver. 20 lbs overweight. Pre diabetic. ( Which means I'm diabetic) A1C is 58. I'm doing Keto, with lots of leafy green vegetables. And intermittent fasting. Exercise 5 X a week. I've lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks. Hope to be cured by 01/01/2023.

    Thank a lot🤗 , so accurate, this is exactly what I'm going through now, I discovered it 3 weeks ago, fatty liver, and all because I didn't exercise for two and a half years since the start of the COVID19, three months ago I started by walking for half an hour and increased it to an hour and 40 minutes, about a month ago I went back to working out at the gym, now that I've been on a protein and some vegetables diet for a month (minimum carbohydrates) I'm starting to see results, I've lost weight (20 kilos from starting process) , my stomach has really shrunk and now I also see an improvement in my body structure.
    You've strengthened me, the process is slow and the beginning was hard, not easy, I just have to keep going...

    Hypothyroid was the obvious thing I thought of when I went from 170 pounds to 200 in just a couple weeks in spite of walking 10 miles a day. It was because the doctor and I could not figure out how to get my fasting blood sugar down that I continued to the point of going on diabetes meds even after the thyroid issues were supposedly corrected. {Weight gain of this type was my canary.} I am on my 2nd endocrinologist because the first one kept giving me bad advice and refused to accept certain limitations that a disabled person has. The new one not only understood that I have problems testing my own blood sugar, but also has me see a dietician on a regular basis to keep me accountable to myself and my goals. Right now I am about the same weight as I was when half the age I am now. The dietician thinks it's amazing that I weigh the 184 that I was when I was 26. It would not surprise me if my A1C has dropped still further than it was 2 months ago, but of course the insurance company will not let me test until next month. At this point it is nearly a year since I was told that my hepatic enzyme test have returned to acceptable. I am continuing intermittent fasting and using apple cider vinegar because I want better than "acceptable." Your thoughts as well as those of Dr Eric Berg - another UA-cam person - have helped a great deal.

    Was diagnosed with NASH cirrhosis about a year ago. Many doctors don't know what to do. If your liver enzymes are high get looked at by a liver specialist. It wasn't till I changed doctors found out how serious this was. I'm trying like hell to turn this around just hoping its not to late. Ive lost 65 lbs through Keto and Intermittent Fasting and exercise.

    CORRECTION:
    There IS a test for fatty liver!
    An ULTRASOUND absolutely will detect fatty liver.
    An ultrasound will reveal whether or not you have fatty liver.
    I was diagnosed w/ fatty liver after an ultrasound & after 2 blood tests were negative.
    I can verify that all the possible symptoms you described are associated w/ fatty liver.
    There is a 'therapy' to treat fatty liver.
    It involves strict keto to lower blood glucose but the main 'therapy' is extended fasting.
    Extended fasting may be the more important but nutrition is also very important.
    Certain supplements are also needed to treat fatty liver.
    Milk thistle & dandelion are very useful but some amino acids are required too.
    Another sign of fatty liver is red hands but that fades as it progresses.
    When treating fatty liver w/ keto & extended fasting the red hands may return as the liver cycles back thru that stage as it begins healing.
    At least that has been my experience.
    The liver can regenerate to some degree tho that seems to be variable.
    In any case 48-72 hour fasts (in ketosis) are key as that acts to burn fat out of the liver.
    Even longer fasts may accelerate the process.
    Hopefully helpful.
    Have a GREAT day, Neighbor!

      Eat some nuts (good fats) to prevent developing GALLSTONES.This is another issue to watch out when doing long fasting and the gallbladder bile is stagnant and not draining often, it slowly the bile could turn thick and become sludge and eventually into those painful Gallstones...
      Every few hours at least have some a spoon of Olive oil or a small hand of nuts just to recycle fresh bile.

    • @KingsDaughter.
      @KingsDaughter. Рік тому +2

      Add TUDCA supplement to help with sludge while fasting. And healing fatty liver.
      What blood test shows fatty liver?

    • @Eros13adios
      @Eros13adios Рік тому

      @TheDay HeMade
      In between like at least every 8 hours..If you dont want carbs then avoid the nuts and go with ONE BIG TABLE SPOON of Olive Oil..As long as you get some Fat to "stimulate" the gallbladder to release the Bile (that's the only way-- by eating some type of Fat or Saturated Fat).

    • @Eros13adios
      @Eros13adios Рік тому

      @TheDay HeMade
      The only way to trigger bile release is by your small intestine triggering some hormone ( I forget the name) to release bile when it senses Fat, because Fat is harder to break or digest.

    I have been hypothyroid since birth, grew up on a farm but then moved to uni, my activity level dropped and 10 years of a desk job and commuting, poor diet "letting myself go" resulted in fatty liver and a real risk if diabetes given family history. Fatty liver confirmed by ultrasound and I have shifted 2.5 stones and my levothyroxine dose has reduced as my body is adapting to a better metabolism. Thank you for explaining this, it is easy to understand.

    I have this. I don’t ever have high sugar. I have a reactive insulinoma. And it makes 20 times the normal amount of insulin. I had an ultrasound in 2012 that showed my liver at 13 cm. Then this tumor progressed rapidly and my liver measured at 20 cm by 2016. My enzymes were fine. And I wouldn’t have known if it wasn’t for the ultrasound. Besides the fact that I had gained 50lbs in 2 years with a keto diet and cardio and strength training. (This was before I discovered the magic of fasting). Once I learned how to do extended and intermittent fasting, I got my liver down to 16.9 cm. My CRP
    Was high as well. And now it’s down to normal. I still have work to do. But it’s nice to see progress. Getting a ultrasound every couple of years to measure the liver helps a lot.

    Hi Thomas you are doing a great job. I have a point of difference in your statement that if one is insulin resistant and obese then there are 3.5 times more
    chances of getting a fatty liver. I'm convinced that one can be obese only if someone is insulin resistant. Insulin resistance is the root cause of all non infectious lifestyle diseases. So by equating both together people can get confused and think both are separate things. No one can be overweight without becoming insulin resistant. In terms of hierarchy of villains IR is the top boss.

    I found out about ALT, AST BS rubbish the hard way. They only show 30% of the fibrosis/ chirrhosis situation. Therefore, i tell all alcoholics like myself to do ultrasound and not trust liver panel.Was drinking because the enzymes were perfect.... now, I'm pretty sure that I have fibrosis. The only ways to find out is to do ultrasound or MRI, there's also another blood test which is not performing in the USA because insurance wouldn't cover. It tells me that they want us sick. That test is very definitive. I'm trying to reduce alcohol consumption, I've also been on low carb/ keto for years and exercising for years intensely. Plus, I take CBD and milk thistle. I hope to survive because I have small children. I am not trashed, but I drink low carb beer or dry wine every day ( was).

    I just want you to say that if you have these symptoms GO TO THE DR FOR DIAGNOSIS do not just try to self treat this on your own because the same symptoms of this is the same symptoms as VERY MANY other conditions, diseases, and disorders. Even if you do have inflammation in the liver and don’t drink you could also have something like LUPUS causing it so treating with food won’t be enough to prevent the damage to the liver. You need to find out the EXACT cause of what is causing it and that is with trial and error and testing under medical supervision. Not treated on your own at home but yes this is great information to people.

      I’ve fasted a lot over the last few years.Remember that hunger comes in waves. Fasting is temporary pain for lasting results. Keep your mind occupied on something else when the hunger pangs come, drink some water, remind yourself of your goal, anything to push through. The more often you fast, the easier it becomes. Stay strict and regimented with it at the beginning and it will eventually become a healthy routine habit. Good luck!

      It depends on how severe it is. I can tell you that at 500 pounds with a fatty liver, a week of fasting isn't enough, I've done that, still have it.
      I've lost 125 pounds in the last year doing intermittent fasting and mostly keto, still have a fatty liver.

    it literally just comes down to obesity, fast food is a cancer on America. Think about what you're funding, you're rewarding fast food when you go there, to kill yourself, and other Americans, or wherever you are. It's incredibly inspirational, and hard to lose weight, but you won't lose it unless you stop going to get food made for you, and learn to make it yourself, and do some cardio DAILY. If you are struggling to lose weight, implement 15-30 minutes of cardio every day, do it for a week, and you'll make progress. Sometimes it takes 2 weeks, but push hard, find something that makes you feel good, it's out there. I grew up biking, found I hated it, took it up with a punching bag, changed my life. I have type 1 diabetes, I'm losing weight for the first time in decades. You'll figure it out, but you need to challenge yourself.
