    Two things I do: 1) blend two lemons in 1 litre cooled boiled water, include the pips, pith, everything. Keep it in the fridge. Then, once a day drink 200mls mixed with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. 2) mix a pot of Ayran with a small bottle of soda water and top it off with a few grounds of Himalayan salt. Keep it natural where possible

    Love learning more about the liver. Such a powerhouse in our bodies.
    I am always surprised when I happen to find myself amongst a group of adults I dont see often, how casual people are about drinking in my age group (mid 40s to early 50s)
    I am not against one or two drinks a week and I look like the nun a monastery. People just chug alcohol like it’s nothing. I have to bite my tongue not to start lecturing about the fact that we are no spring chickens and absolutely cannot afford alcohol at this stage of life. I am like a crazy person talking to myself. Luckily my hubby doesn’t drink so I am safe when it’s just the two of us LOL

    • @jordanxfile
      @jordanxfile Рік тому +4

      You do not get hangovers as long as you drink heavily every day. I am a heavy drinker, I stopped for 2 months, then tried to drink and felt so hungover the next day with even a few drinks. Just like cigarettes, the fewer or less regularly you smoke, the more you cough. Because your body reacts in the normal way. When you consume so much of a toxin, the body limits its reactions. if you watch Loren Lockman's videos on UA-cam, you would hear him mention how the body stops showing certain symptoms when it is dealing with more important things. This is also why you need to be fully adapted to actually "enjoy" these toxins; otherwise they will make you feel miserable, like they should.

      @PriusTurbo Рік тому +4

      Track your macros and scale weight every day. Stop OMAD. Get adequate protein (1g per pound of target body weight). Fill in rest of calories with fats and carbs. Exercise as much as you can handle even if it's just walking around in a pool. You must figure out a way to weight train to maintain as much muscle as possible regardless of your back problems. At least do body weight exercises or light dumbells. You WILL NOT gain weight (fat) unless you're eating surplus calories so track them. It's that simple.

      Sugar in drinks (even fruit juice) is more unhealthy than sugar in fruit for 2 reasons. 1) Quantity - Drinks can be consumed much more quickly than raw fruit and one glass can be equivalent to multiple items of fruit. 2) Speed of digestion - Removing the fibre in fruit to make a drink, means that it gets absorbed into your system much more quickly. A higher level of insulin is then released causing the sugar to be stored as fat in a battle against high blood sugar.

My gallbladder was even removed only to find zero stones. I would suggest doing a parasite cleanse if you are eating healthy and still gaining more people have these parasites than what our medical community tells us. It’s not a third world thing.

    I've seen a study that showed that consistently eating 4 servings of fruit a day can lead to NAFLD. I've also seen some speculation that suggests that a person should limit their daily fructose to 25 grams or less. Fruit used to have a useful purpose, increasing fat to prepare when food is scarce. Now, most of us don't have to worry about food availability so fruit has lost it's purpose.
