- This video starts with a party to celebrate a friends special birthday. We then travel north again where we spend a few nights at a Marina and campsite near New Mills in the Peak District. We stumble across some history of the local area and some clever and beautiful architecture associated with a footbridge.
Then we move on to another marina campsite with metered electric and an expensive dog wash before I abandon Sue at a small no frills CL site whilst I head south for dental treatment.
This is episode 112 in a series of videos cataloguing our post retirement adventures. We are Kath and Sue and we are travelling the UK with our two dogs Archie and Fudge and living full time in our Burstner Elegance Motorhome. We have given up conventional living for a new van-life, enjoying the freedom of the road and plenty of time outdoors taking in the beautiful countryside the UK has to offer.

I was impressed with your filming of the mills. You are very versatile in experimenting with different angles for your shots. These all work, with your editing skills to great effect. Fudge is a great fellow hiker on your adventures. We had a Labrador when I was a child and I know how they are just happy to be with you doing what you are doing. They are wonderful companions 🐾❤

The Marinas are great stops but I was surprised the paths weren’t completely flooded?! Down south in Somerset we seem to have nothing but flooded fields and footpaths so Sasha’s getting VERY muddy (& therefore needing lots of baths-Petcarium showers first from the back of the car/in the van!) each time we take her out….Because she’s only diddy (big for a toy poodle but much shorter than Fudge!!!) so despite having all in one coats on she’s getting very mucky indeed🤣🐶💕….Fudge’s reluctance to gonand get the first stick but then get the second much larger one made me smile! Sasha would’ve helped her out!! Enjoy more wonderful travels and time together!👍🐶🐶👯 💕👍🤣
🤣🤣🤣 she needs all the help she can get. I’m sure if Sasha was there Fudge would be a bit braver, although she has a habit of letting Archie do all the work then stealing off him at paddling depth. We are all looking forward to some drier weather and a little less mud. Happy Travels. 🙏🤗🚌❤️

Just been catching up, wow you certainly get around! I think that's 3 National Parks in 3 videos? Some lovely spots and walks as always. And welcome to the world of LPG 😁 I know when we switched from Calor it became easier, BUT still can be tricky sometimes to find lpg spots in the UK. Info online is usually 50/50 for reliability we find.
I think I may have asked before, but are you thinking of heading onto mainland Europe at any point? You would love it in France I'm sure, even if just for a couple of weeks. Safe travels ladies ❤
🤣🤣we have been a bit up and down the country recently. We were planning to go to France about now, but my elderly parents are moving house and we’ve volunteered to help move them so we are a little bit in limbo whilst we wait for a date. We are planning to be back in Scotland for the Summer so all things being well France in November is on the cards. The only thing that’s stopped us is our old man who is on loads of medication and a prescription diet and with Brexit we not sure if we can take it into France so still trying to work out what we can take. We can’t wait to get to France though. 🙏🤗🚌❤️

Kath, aren't you really, really fed-up with that guitarist following you everywhere?! ( That said ) just how big is your drone? I ask for it must be massive!!!! It would have to be in order to fly with a piano glued to it.
