- This video is a mixture of vanlife reality, fixing things that break, more enjoyment of the British countryside specifically Derwentwater in a boat, and a challenging walk up the famous Cat Bells in the Lake District and finally our first channel giveaway.

This is episode 113 in a series of videos cataloguing our post retirement adventures. We are Kath and Sue and we are travelling the UK with our two dogs Archie and Fudge and living full time in our Burstner Elegance Motorhome. We have given up conventional living for a new van-life, enjoying the freedom of the road and plenty of time outdoors taking in the beautiful countryside the UK has to offer.

#hellomuddaddy….thought I’d better get that in first before my menopausal brain forgets🤣🐶😂 It’s obviously an invaluable piece of kit for you guys…..Sasha is getting so many baths at the moment as the fields are so wet: in the interests of saving water we’ve actually just got a collapsible bath to wash her outside the van/at home as we too like to make the process a bit more bearable by adding hot water to her footpath scrubber thingy or any little baths she has. Incredible that they’ll all happily go into the streams etc but complain about a little wash in cold water!!! Bless them. So enjoy the incredible scenery. It must warm your ♥️ hearts and souls. Fab clever gadget! My 3 sausages detest the bath, they also detest rain, mud, cold and anything else that doesn’t involve barking from the pile of blankets on the sofa providing full view out of the bay windows 😂 so have oodles of fun with the giveaway #hellomuddaddy

I've noticed you have a ketchup bottle next to you when shampooing the dogs, may I ask why please. 🎉🎉
Ah! Now that’s a top tip Sue got from the radio many years ago. It eliminates the horrible smell of fox poo. Apparently the Canadians use tomatoes to neutralise the smell of a skunk. Ketchup works on fox poo so the trick is to use it like shampoo first and then shampoo afterwards. Hope that helps. 🤗🙏🚌❤️
