Grand Design, Keystone AND Jayco would not allow us to even take pictures during their factory tours. Alliance were TOTALLY transparent!!! You can definitely see the quality difference between Alliance vs other manufacturers!! Our next RV WILL BE an Alliance!!! Great video!
You have some Amish workers there that do not want their photos or video taken for religious reasons. Furthermore, Chevy Ford Toyota and Dodge don’t allow anyone to even tour their factories let alone film.
We purchased the Paradigm 310rl in January, so this year has been all about getting the warranty work completed. So far Alliance has stood by their motto "Do The Right Thing" and we're very pleased with their customer service. We absolutely love our rig and look forward to being full time this December!
I transport RV's from Elkhart to a dealer in Texas. This explains why I have never had an issue with Alliance units. Can't say the same for some other manufacturers.
What a great video. I do find the video intro screen misleading. Luckily I had an hour to watch the video to see the amazing effort Alliance is putting into producing a high quality product. If I had only scrolled past the video and didn’t have time to watch it I would have been left with the impression that Alliance was knowingly putting out a poor quality product and trying to hide it.
Great job Alliance, you are an impressive RV manufacturer. Your focus on quality and continuous improvement is important. You will definitely be at the top of our list.
This is so cool!!! Thanks to Alliance for letting you film all this and share it with everyone!! Doing it right the first time. I could get behind this, for sure! Thank you!!🙌🏼🙌🏼
I bought an Alliance 390mp 2 years ago. I love the coach but there were issues. I'm not bashing nor an angry poster looking for revenge. Just honestly adding my evaluation. I've owned other RV's and must say up front the Alliance folks truly are the most transparent and upfront helpful people. Met a lot of the "big wigs" 2 years ago at the Florida show and was absolutely convinced I needed an Alliance coach. Everyone was helpful, pleasant, and took the time to explain and answer every question I could think of, as well as some I couldn't!. I'm sitting in the mp room of my coach writing this!. The quality control on this unit was not poor but was not complete either. In all fairness some of the issues were with the dealership. I could not take the time here to explain how poorly this "major" dealership handled the transfer and delivery of the unit. Anyhow to deal with the Alliance quality control..... The issues I have had with this coach were connection and build issues mostly. That's why I am writing this. I have not posted anywhere else nor will I. This is a short incomplete list of some issues. None of the cable or satellite hookups were attached on the inside of the coach. Not one. Quality control or dealership? Wiring inside and under the coach was routed and twisted, sometimes to a dangerous level, around water pipes and other electrical connections. Lots of water connections needed tightened as they leaked upon first use. Again I am not bashing Alliance just saying their quality control, no matter how transparent them seem, could have been better. I am able to fix most everything on an RV. Haven't taken any RV courses. I'm handy and simply know from "on the job training" of other of my RV's. Got some of the cables hooked up, not all. They are very hard to trace at times. All of the water connections tightened and had to reroute some others. Tightened all the wiring in the fuse panel which was causing outages, blown fuses, and blinking lights. I pulled the main fuse panel one day looking for electrical issues and found thrown together wiring. Had to rebuild one of the cabinets in the island as it was thrown together. Screws were missing. Drawers were not closing. One drawer feel apart. Simple things that I feel the factory should have caught. Once I got most the bugs worked out it is now in a seasonable/permanent campsite in Ohio. We did travel with it but this site became available so we jumped on it. The folks at Alliance have been as helpful as they could over the phone. Taking it back to the any dealership would be a major undertaking now that it is on a permanent site with a wood deck on the side. Taking a 43ft coach back to a dealership after I bought it and during the pandemic would have meant going without the coach for months. That with no guarantee any of the build issues would have been addressed. (I dislike most dealerships.) The coach is now our second home since I've been able to hook up and fix most of the build issues. Took two years as I am a full time doctor. I am happy with this coach and company overall and would buy from them again. I feel the majority of the coaches built today are not worthy of the major price tags they carry. Alliance does have the attention to the little things most RV owners would want. I feel they needed to step up a little on the quality side of this coach is why I'm writing.
I have to say this was a very fair review. Informative though didn't change my opinion on purchasing. I wouldn't be surprised if they saw this (you obviously aren't beating a dead dog trashing them on every platform available) and they offer some type of free upgrade or some sort of gesture of goodwill? Your opinion, considering the circumstances is the one I'm going to value most. Hiccups can happen so their method of rectifying things is going to go a long way in my decision of purchasing. This was an excellent video and I am very impressed how this company is ran. They obviously care about their reputation. It's a nice little process when done right!! This comment was very educational also, i really respect you not going on a bash fest. You are a great customer still so fill us in on details if you feel compelled. LOL
So..I don't want to bust your bubble..but I wouldn't buy a new rv through the covid pandemic...we were in the market..but decided to get a used rv..because of parts problems,,and worker's not showing up for work...we saw in almost all..the different rv companies during that time,,soo..it wasn't just alliance,,even now I wouldn't buy any used rv..that's a 2020..to..2022..just saying
This video was awesome. My wife and I have been looking at a Grand Design and an Alliance. This video has just convinced us to buy an Alliance. I have heard great things about Allaince. But until you know, you don't know. This video is full of knowledge, so now we know. Great Job
If someone reads your headline and watches the intro and stops there , my guess is they will think alliance is a bad product. I almost did just that. I already researched the brand therefore I knew it was a good brand but even I for a second thought maybe you discovered something bad I didn’t know. People with light to no research sees the beginning might stop the vid and have a bad thought on alliance. I think you should change the wording and the intro. It’s deceiving and gives the appearance of making alliance look bad. Other then that AWESOME video.
Irene Iron Travels bought an Alliance. The washer drain pipe was totally disconnected and they had water pour into the storage dept. PDI must not have worked in that case. If selling to a big You Tube channel probably should check the unit carefully.
I’m guess is that piles or hoses moved during transport because that smoke test although good , it’s smoke. Once you start using it for the first time after transport and using water pressure things can happen to the best of them. I’d recommend hiring a professional certified inspector/technician to test it all before leaving the lot. Or do it yourself if your aware of what to check and how to test everything and what to look for. I was leaning towards a Stryker 2313 toy hauler , grand design 21g and valor 21t15 and we narrowed it down to the valor. I definitely will hire a independent inspector before I take it off the lot.
Recently had all the plumbing (piping) in our home replaced/upgraded to pex. The municipal plumbing code required a pressure check of the entire system (using compressed air) as part of the final Inspection. This is a standard procedure in our city. Our plumber has a simple portable compressor that he brings into the home and connects it to the plumbing system and it’s brought up to the specified pressure. Takes about 10 minutes to set up. The Inspector checks the pressure then carries out the rest of his inspection and re-checks pressure after 30 minutes. If no pressure drop then it’s a pass. Smoke is not as good as a pressure test!
We are looking to buy a small fifth wheel Alliance. A 22 or 23, which are really about 28 feet. So far, I'm liking what I'm seeing about the builder. Now, if I could just find one close to Tucson!
A great question would have been "how will Alliance change their manufacturing levels to meet or exceed that of Brinkley RV?" I'm sorry, but Alliance has gone from my #1 choice to my distant 2nd choice for my next 5th wheel purchase. Please do a Brinkley RV plant tour and let us know how you compare the two companies.
We were sold a brand new defective Alliance with missing slide piece. Did so much damage that it was unlivable. If RV was inspected, they would have found this. We have videos, phone call and email records back and forth. After 1 1/2 years we gave up. We are extremely happy with another brand and feel safe now. I’m hoping they have improved and no one else has to go through this nightmare.
I believe there should be an independent inspector coming in during the biuld process to inspect each unit . Just like a house gets inspected during the construction
Thank you for taking us with ya'll inside Alliance manufacturing tour. I hope to see your take on the Brinkley such as the G models. The wife and I along with our four legged companions have been full-time rv dwellers for six years(and counting). We are now ready to let our current Outdoors RV trailer go to another family as we continue our journey on a 5th wheel toy hauler to carry our junks on the road. We looked really hard on G.D. Momentum's then Alliance Valor then back to Momentum's again but we are now seriously considering the Brisket oh I mean Brinkley G4000 since it has the biggest available garage for our off road vehicle(s). Thank you for your service in the RV Dwellers/Nomads Community. Safe travels and take the less traveled path. -Howdy, from the Nevada Desert!🤠🏜🏕
Boy, there is a ton of cool things about this company! I mean, they didn't have to implement that water manifold distribution system in the Valor....but they did! That is huge when a problem arises!
Regarding your discussion about traveling with a full fresh tank, I was told by three people at Alliance RV that it is NOT recommended to travel with much water in the tank. This was after our fresh tank broke free on one side of the angle bracket at the rear of the tank because the tank was full and we were on a very rough stretch of road in Rolla, MO. We happened to be traveling near Elkhart and they got us in and out in three hours to replace the angle iron that was bent sort of like this\______/. Kudos to the folks at Alliance for that but again they told me not to travel with a full tank. I recommended they use a thicker angle iron to support the tank but I'm sure it fell on deaf ears.
Im definitely getting an alliance unit later when I retire and ready for traveling Seeing this video and how deeply detailed they are in the process of their product is amazing Great job 👏 on the video and big thanks to alliance pulling back the curtain and for allowing you to film them and the process 👍❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for this. Our RV is back in Indiana for repair. I have pictures and videos to share and they will not replace the unit. Would love to find people interested in lawsuits for them not living up to their company mission
Great video but I wish you would have ask about Future Solar improvements and if they are working on electric powered wheel units to assist tow vehicle like electric trucks. Maybe I missed those key points.
Tom, watch iron Irene washer drain video in their new Alliance, then have them explain how the smoke test in PDI didn’t catch that lack of glue the joint work done in the plumbing.
Without the smoke being pressurized, the friction fit of most pvc piping will not reveal lack of glue. I worked on a plumbing crew for a remodeler a few years ago and found several instances of non-glued vents and a few drains.
I have a 2022 Alliance valor 43v13, Unfortunately the PDI isn't as great as they say it is. I just purchased it brand new in sept 2023 and haven't even stayed in it yet and already have 3 recalls, 1 warranty issue for the fiberglass cracked and chipped on the slide and a bunch of trim that's falling off the walls. I am not upset about the trim as this is normal for ALL trailer manufacturers, over all the quality is really good otherwise and I hope to enjoy my new toy hauler. I normally do all of my own minor repairs for trim etc, it's bound to come loose when you drive long distances on bumpy roads and hot and cold temperatures. That being said, I contacted Alliance and they were awesome with the recall info and getting me everything needed to deal with the warranty issues. They also went above and beyond with some of my concerns for some added components on the trailer. I wish I could attend the rally to show off my trailer but it's always scheduled around the time we have a big event back home and I can't miss it.
Did you ask any questions about the employees/ line workers? Do they enjoy their job and does a Alliance provide a good standard of living and benefits for them? Their quality is directly related through their employees and we all know that happy employees make better quality products.
The guy talked about that throughout. Mention of flexible hours, not treating employees like a number, employee retention of 97%, the amenities at the campus etc. At an hour and one minute is an example.
I know that many of the RV factories in northern Indiana employ Amish workers, and therefore do not allow photos and filming during operating hours out of respect for their beliefs.
Know a family who bought an Alliance a couple years ago. Had to go back to the factory 4 times. Major issues. Unacceptable, really. An Alliance bigwig met up with them at the Florida RV show, I guess the most recent one, and offered to take back their RV and offered them $30k toward a different Alliance. Not bad, but should it have gone that far and long? I'm not one to promote government regulations, but this industry needs it. We bought a used 2018 FR Columbus 1492 that never needed to go back to the factory for anything. However the laborer who installed the roof AC unit missed the studs and water got in. We were able to salvage our situation, but others needed to replace the entire roof. Of course no one discovered this widespread issue until the unit was out of warranty. Since this was a factory defect, FR should have done the right thing and did a recall on these, but of course that did not happen.
Not sure about Alliance, we've recently seen 3 Valors from 2022 model year and not impressed. Ceilings falling down, trim peeling, uneven under slide corners that look like they weren't put together properly. Dealership won't even bring anymore in because of the poor quality. Maybe it was too early or blame it on Covid. Hope to see better quality for 2024 Valors.
I think the problem with quality in the RV industry is the common practice of piece rate pay. Workers just want to knock out the units to leave the line and go home.
70% of what every manufacturer says in these plant videos as " we're the only one....." is completely false. One simple example, the comment about the v-brackets in the leaf spring shackles. My 2 model year old 2022 keystone has them and also has the tube stiffener welded on the bottom i-beam frame flange. So, how are they the only one???? Complete BS. As an architect, I can spot issues from every manufacturer. I could consult in ways to improve build quality, and provide solutions that don't cost much more if anything at all. But, they don't want that. Maybe Brinkley, but the jury is still deliberating...
we run the camper pros here in nc. it took us 1 full year to get a water heater replaced by alliance and we will have not got paid for it they even wanted us to send the old heater back like they didnot trust us.. im not saying they make a bad product at all i think its pritty good over all! the problem i have we work really hard and they really gave us a hard time for over 1 year my poor customer was not to happy. and the customer takes it out on us witch its not our fault . i would say i would 100 percent buy an alliance i have friends that are hight up there but i would say if your a 3d party tech careful on getting paid to work on one.. you will wait up to 1 year to get anything out of them! Once again they make a vary good product but service after that is really not to great..
I have a 2022 Avenue. Not impressed with their quality control. None of the windows were sealed and already have water damage on two slides. If they don't make it right I'll contine to tell others of their low quality.
@EnjoyTheJourneyLife Am going to soon. Sealed the windows myself with Lexel and used eternabond tape on the slides in the meantime. I did purchase the extended warranty so we'll see how useful that is. Point is their quality control is not what they say it is in your video. The mark of an advanced society is when we've mastered changing our genders yet can't build an RV that doesn't have major issues beyond a year.
Two complaints Tom, change the title!!! The reason why I am just now seeing this video is because I dont like videos that bash companies or products. Its just bad taste. Today I had an hour to kill and I said to You Tube ok, ok stop nagging me i will watch this video. I was pleasantly surprised. I can only imagine how many people skip this video because of the title. Also, too many commercials. Enough said. My next RV will most likely be a Alliance.
Yup there is we went to lazy days trying to upgrade to a larger unit NOT only did they give an insulting price on our current unit but only took off 10% off msrp on the new one, the salesman didn’t even try to explain his managers offer he knew it was total BS 🤷♂️
Every Alliance 5th wheel I've been on has major QC issues! Mis-aligned trim, doors and cabinets that don't properly close, paint and finish chipping or missing. Absolutely horrible!! I'd rather buy a clapped out wholesale 5th wheel and restore it my self then buy a new piece of Alliance garbage.
There is no quality which long lasts on an wooden RV except these all Aluminum Azdel no wood ATC and the like RV's. Wood will eventually leak and then rott. Obviously. Since RV's are not built like cars with robots standardisized but all manually by humans, there will be way more failures. Then the biggest problem is the non modular way of building RVs. You can not really fix them but have to rip everything apart. Because everything is built into and onto the trailer. No standalone furniture and the wholething is constantly shaking. So things get loose over time, misalign, warp and water gets in. Then wood is rotting. So eighter it is all stainless steel, aluminum and Azdel or nothing. Then you can not really use screws on aluminum since threads on aluminum strip and screws get loose. Weldings on aluminum cracks often. That is why even ATC RVs have frame cracks and leak. So the worst one can do is to buy an fancy RV which contains wood. Any wood is to be avoided and pipes and electric cables should be exposed for easy repairs. Avoid any electronics since those will fail. All residential switches, furniture and appliances is advised. No built in furniture since that is basically not repairable if it leaks underneath.
Try not misleading viewers with the title of this video. Trying to up your views with misleading titles is ethically wrong. Never watching another of your videos again.
I am going to start a youtube channel to show how poorly these RVs are actually built and nobody will buy them. Het ready people its going to blow your mind!!!!!! Its all the manufacturers not just alliance
Stop trying to sell shit to people and make money off of them and be truthful about all RVs and the frames made by lippert and breaking, every manufacturer period. People dont by RVs
Interesting -- BUT -- Why do you constantly respond with "..hahaha right, OK.. haha". You might want to check your interview skills as this repeated weirdo response is called "nervous laughter" and it is very effem of you. Just speak like a proper man and knock off of this fake "hahaha right ok" nonsense. It is really a turn off for women to watch a man struggle like that.

Wait until you see what we changed on the Paradigm 380MP!
Yes, I need to get back over there to check it out!
We will be buying an alliance delta soon! Love this manufacture, attention to detail, customer service and how they listen to their customers!
This video was awesome. My wife and I have been looking at a Grand Design and an Alliance. This video has just convinced us to buy an Alliance. I have heard great things about Allaince. But until you know, you don't know. This video is full of knowledge, so now we know. Great Job
Glad it was helpful!
That's interesting, I wonder if the smoke test would have detected that problem?
Smoke test should have filled the storage area!!!!
We just ordered a Paradigm 370FB and we can't WAIT to get it!! This video makes me feel even better with our choice.
We purchased our Alliance 310RL because of their attention to detail and quality! Great video, thanks for making it
Glad you like it!
Bought a new Alliance Valor today because of this video. Thanks!
Boy, there is a ton of cool things about this company! I mean, they didn't have to implement that water manifold distribution system in the Valor....but they did! That is huge when a problem arises!
Yes, I was really impressed by that!
Im definitely getting an alliance unit later when I retire and ready for traveling
Seeing this video and how deeply detailed they are in the process of their product is amazing
Great job 👏 on the video and big thanks to alliance pulling back the curtain and for allowing you to film them and the process 👍❤❤❤❤❤
Glad it was helpful!
I don’t know if anyone else does this, but a heated floor would be a great idea especially if you’re in a colder area!
Thanks Alliance for allowing Joe to do this!
Thanks for watching!
AWESOME JOB...That was a Very Impressive Factory Tour..Very Insightful..Definitely not a "Entry Level " Facility..Very Impressed
Great show and hope you didnt get a copyright strike from the music that was playing.
No worries, it cleared because it was in the background.
Awesome sales video. I'm sure Alliance will get a bump in sales do this video.
Way cool Alliance. Thanks to Tom & Alliance for letting us see this.
Great video Tom!!!
Looks like y’all are going to move into a new Alliance toy hauler.
👍😃🍻
I think he is proud of the Alliance RV
Tom that was awesome, thank you!
I own an Alliance PAradigm 370fb and I love it. Is it perfect, no but I know if I have issues service is great.
Alliance is Top Knoctch Company & Has Great customer service over other RV companies 👍
So Tom did you put in your order for a Valor. We Absolutely love our 40v13 👍
LOL! Not yet!
36:29 you mean I actually get free water as an employee! I’m so glad I run my own company.
This was interesting. Thanks alliance.
Glad you enjoyed it
The other manufacturers have to be holding the heads in shame. This can only help the entire RV industry. My next trailer (
Great video!!!!. Keep up the amazing job.😊
Thanks so much for watching!
Good job thanks for the info.
I know that many of the RV factories in northern Indiana employ Amish workers, and therefore do not allow photos and filming during operating hours out of respect for their beliefs.
Sounds like a good excuse.
PDI? Really? The Alliance workers were sloppy and the PDI crew was on vacation when my unit came through.
Hope you can someday control the quality of frames, axles, etc.
Actually recording those solutions right now!
So, unlike the "auto" industry, you want a unit built on Monday, since the walls were sitting over the weekend, letting the adhesive cure really well.
I have a 2022 Avenue. Not impressed with their quality control. None of the windows were sealed and already have water damage on two slides. If they don't make it right I'll contine to tell others of their low quality.
Have you contacted customer service?
My next RV will most likely be a Alliance.
love the allience ❤
Nice job
I think I like the Valor
There’s over 500k new rv’s on lots in Florida alone.
Yup there is we went to lazy days trying to upgrade to a larger unit NOT only did they give an insulting price on our current unit but only took off 10% off msrp on the new one, the salesman didn’t even try to explain his managers offer he knew it was total BS 🤷♂️
Wow, I've heard some RV manufacturers have over produced and now dealers are stuck with aging inventory.
@@EnjoyTheJourneyLife yah my neighbor said the boom was over last year or two+?
pretty sure I will be buying an alliance toy hauler
Every Alliance 5th wheel I've been on has major QC issues! Mis-aligned trim, doors and cabinets that don't properly close, paint and finish chipping or missing. Absolutely horrible!! I'd rather buy a clapped out wholesale 5th wheel and restore it my self then buy a new piece of Alliance garbage.
Why do you think they're making all these service bays for these RVS? Because they are all breaking, they're all fn junk.
A lot of brand exclusive claims that aren't factual. Alliance is an amazing brand. But don't claim falsehoods.
Add a class A to your group.
If only US builders could come close to what the Europeans are putting out. Their stuff is AMAZING!!
And still crappy PEC plumbing.....
Exposed indeed
Wait till you see the whole video!
@@EnjoyTheJourneyLife I did and it was very informative. Makes you wonder what the others are waiting for. Great video as usual 🧚♀️
If they made the r v's properly they wouldn't need all these service bays
When I buy another RV, it will be an Alliance brand.
too many commercials
Are you an Alliance owner, or will you be an Alliance owner. If so, why? If not, why?
🤡🤡🤡🤡
Stop trying to sell shit to people and make money off of them and be truthful about all RVs and the frames made by lippert and breaking, every manufacturer period. People dont by RVs
Interesting -- BUT -- Why do you constantly respond with "..hahaha right, OK.. haha". You might want to check your interview skills as this repeated weirdo response is called "nervous laughter" and it is very effem of you. Just speak like a proper man and knock off of this fake "hahaha right ok" nonsense. It is really a turn off for women to watch a man struggle like that.
