We’re about to retire and are thoroughly studying the fifth wheel models and manufacturers. Have identified 2: Grand Design and Brinkley. Initially was leaning toward Grand Design bc I was concerned that Brinkley may have a few beginner kinks to work out. Then, we did a side by side comparison at the Grayslake RV show this Spring. Hands down, we’re buying a Brinkley. The Brinkley rep patiently answered every question I had, offered new info and displayed an engaged energetic demeanor. He respected my knowledge of his product (thanks Josh) and didn’t assume anything. Walked over to the Grand Design unit and the interaction couldn’t have been more different. Salesperson sat the entire time on the sofa, loudly slurped a beverage and dissed Brinkley whenever possible. When I asked him how he sells his product against Brinkley he scoffed and said he didn’t have to. He said they were in different leagues. Well, he was right. We’re buying a Brinkley this Spring.
@@fozzybear9114 Just saw a video where an alliance unit had a failed clothes washer drain that was not even glued together. When you can't plumb an RV, you shouldn't be building them. It comes down to craftsmanship, not slap and go. The RV industry for the most part put's out crap and it's about time for manufactures that care to call out all the others.
The reality is that there's to spite the dozens and dozens of different 5th makes and models you'll see... There all made by the same handful of companies in Indiana...Most of which are owned by Warren Buffet....Same 5th wheels just different wrappers! .....My advice is don't focus on manufacturer Grand Design vs. Keystone vs. whoever.... there all built the same and with universal components to cut cost.....Focus on finding the floorplan that you like best... DON'T BUY ANY UNIT that's been sitting on a the dealer lot for more than 3 months... and, when you buy, bring someone with RV experience for the walk through... AND GO THROUGH EVERY SQUARE INCH OF THE UNIT YOUR BUYING , CHECK EVERY SYSTEM...Dealers usually only allot 2 hrs for this...I wouldn't care if it takes all day.. DO NOT SIGN OFF UNTIL YOUR SATISFIED.... Once you leave the lot, which is what the sales guy wants, it's yours!!! Any issues after that are the Service dept / Warranty depts problem and dealing with that is a nightmare!
I worked at GD as a tech for several years. These are better and their facility is astonishingly better than anyone I’ve ever seen or worked for. 35 years building RV’s in Elkhart county, so I know what I’m saying is true. Culture is a new word altogether in this industry. I applaud this. It’s been a long time coming and it’s about time.
I left GD for Brinkley a couple weeks back, taking a pay cut (for now til we get to producing more units at least!) doing so. One of the selling points for me was the AC controlled plant that will be opening up soon. I’ve been welding in RVs for about 10 years now and none of those companies thought twice about getting us AC. Summers in Indiana are HUMID as I’m sure you know, so yes Brinkley has done some major game changing things. I agree 100% with retention being a big factor in quality aspect of RVs. It’s no coincidence that GDRV has/had good quality when they pay the best in the industry currently. I left there after almost 4 years and I was still basically one of the “new” guys. No other rv place has that. Hard to hold people accountable when it’s a different person doing the job every other week. All in all, awesome video, I’m so excited to help Brinkley grow and do my part to get customers the best quality they can. Too many people in this industry just don’t care that people are spending $100k+ on these units and can barely use them because they’re junk and constantly needing fixed. Good video!
For ten years I delivered supplies to RV industry. Walk around while waiting. This is truly impressive. Climate control work space Really long over due.
I really would like to get a Brinkley. I’m still trying to make up my mind, which is about 80% towards a Super C a big one. Only because of the towing abilities, like even a double stacker. Or pulling a workshop. So many possibilities. We don’t have a home base anymore. Just a 5th wheel, which for being as old as it is, is in great shape. We left it in Arizona, we are in Missouri now, staying at my daughters condo that she is selling, because she moved to Florida. We are bringing down the stuff she had no room left in the uhaul. We were going to store our RV in a shaded storage area, but couldn’t find our title and registration papers. So it’s cooking in the Arizona sun right now. We needed to do some roof work that didn’t get done. Might be time to get a different rig, after our fix it work. I’m Loving watching the process of the build. The one we have is a 2002 Alpin Light but built well, and heavy. Solid wood throughout. Just want a more modern one.
This is vastly superior to any place I worked in my 20 years in RV. They have a lot of ideas implemented that I suggested so many times over the years but was handily dismissed. I'm glad to see someone finally modernizing the RV industry. It's not that they are the most innovative, I've seen plenty of capable innovators, I was one, but the dedication to their employees, the thought that went into giving them an overall better and safer work experience, that's someone I only dreamed of.
I've watched dozens of your videos Josh but his one jumps to #1. The way you conducted the tour, sharing appropriate information along the way was world class, you could do this for a living! I have to say that the Brinkley management philosophy is right on: keep the employees happy and they will look after you. It's obvious that they care about the work they do and want the company to be successful. Not only does the organization provide a top class product at a reasonable price they also appear to have a happy customer base. Thank you to Brinkley Management for allowing you Josh this insider access, everyone benefits.
I am seriously impressed by their facilities. I truly appreciate the cleaning of the units. It makes a difference and the shaking is a outstanding feature.
So glad to see a company put people first. The workers and the customers! Can you imagine having a job you are proud to go to? That the RV you help build is what the company owner camps in? That's amazing.
Their company care for customers and their employees is a great thing to see. Keeping your employees happy and loyal to their product makes a big difference in the quality and innovation of their products.
Quite some years back Rosie and I were traveling with the Grandsons through Indiana and at the time we owned a Reflection fifth wheel. We stopped in and took a tour of a fairly new factory called Grand Design. The folks were very nice, and we met the owners. We first met Micah at this time and even have pictures of the grand kids in his office. Over the years I have gone back and forth with Micah and he has bent over backwards to help us. When we saw he was all in with this new company we went to an early RV show in San Diego and ordered our new Brinkley shortly after. Now we are proud owners and back with Micah at the helm. Burlington Bill here, busking on the road and on you tube!
Super impressed with this. Love how you showed just how well they insulated everything especially that front cap. Not something many do. Was equally impressed when the issue was found how like you said everything was an all stop until issue was figured out. Very impressive. Brinkley will be at the top of my list when I look to replace my current camper. Keep up the good work!!!!
That is a thing I hear about at Japanese (Toyota I think) auto factories. Any worker has the ability to stop the line to figure out/fix a problem. If they can become the "Toyota of RV/TTs" I'd love to buy one of theirs when the times comes. Maybe not the most luxurious or newest gadgets, but built well and to last. I'm not much of a handyman, so the thing that scares me the most about TTs is how prone things are to breaking on them and needing fixing. Let's hope they are able to keep this level of quality sustainable!
I'm from Elkhart county. I remember what the old "factories" were like. You could easily lose 5 lbs. a day in sweat in the summer. BTW, we just picked up our Model Z 3100 June 1st. Great product. We got to meet 4 of the 5 owners and they all seemed like honest up standing people, especially Nate who we spent most of our time with having questions answered.
Thank you for making this video. We took the tour October 2023. Ordered our Z3100 January 2024. Taking another tour February 28 to see ours on the line. You capture the true heart of this company and its values and work ethic. Loved seeing Micah on the roof!
Brinkley seems like a what can happen when people stop complaining and start creating. These people came out of situations they didn't like, compiled a list, and said this is HOW to do it. It's definitely a company worth keeping an eye on. The fact that they are the only ones doing a jiggle test is going to become a new standard. When consumers know, smart companies follow. Can't wait to see their travel trailers started.
It was really eye opening hearing so much consistency from the team members. Off camera I spoke with a lot of the laborers. They were all saying the same things about respecting leadership, finally having a chance to do something better, feeling appreciated Alliance is the only other factory I've toured with THAT level of "We love it here"
@Josh the RV Nerd at Bish's RV that's awesome. Makes me happy because Alliance is one of the companies I've been looking at. Happy, respected work forces supply better quality for sure.
Just great Josh Now I want a Brinkley.Very well built unit.I love the one piece fiberglass shower unit. That alone is the reason I now want one. Keep up the factory tours.
I have to say that’s a camper for me . What pride put into manufacturing this is what brings manufacturing back into the USA Great products built in America by Americans . I’ll pay any difference for the best. God Bless this company and its staff!!! Great job.
This video was extremely impressive and well done! I have recently looked at both the 2900 and 3100 Brinkley 5th wheel units, I believe they are one of the cleanest, crisp looking modern units on the market. Your video has convinced me that when I am ready for a 5th wheel unit this will be the brand I buy. Thanks for your efforts in putting this together.
My wife and I just purchased a Z3100 and are waiting for a few extras (slide toppers, etc.) to be installed before we take delivery. This video is very reassuring that we made a good decision. Very excited for our first trip which is soon.
Great review. I'm signing papers on a Z2900 this week. When I did the PDI, I didn't find any debris, unlike other trailers I have owned. My first Forest River, the floor vents were packed with saw dust! I like the way Brinkley keeps it clean throughout the building process, and fixes issues as it goes. I saw the Forest River factory tour video, and they just mark errors with tape to then fix at the end of the production line, so of course its rush rush and fix it later. Impressive the owner is out there snooping around, his attention to detail makes it all happen. Company culture helps a lot, I can tell they really mean it. Reminds me of when I worked for Waste Management, they had a company culture similar, and making the employees feel valued goes a long way. My only gripe, is no Max Air covers for the roof vents, seems like a small detail they could take care of for a high end unit. The covers tend to crack or break, especially in hot environments, which is why I always install Max Air covers. When spending 100k for a 5th wheel, you would think they would throw in some Max Air covers. The rigidity of the Island is amazing. Friends have a Montana, and the Island is loose from the factory and there's no good way to secure it after the fact. Also the heat vents from the Island is brilliant. The bedroom has tons of storage, as well as throughout the trailer. I'm sure I will be losing things, not remembering which cabinet I put things in lol. Great review Josh, appreciate you going through every last detail. Another plus, is that there are no seams to caulk. They use 3M tape under joints so going around with a caulking gun every six months has been eliminated.
Very detailed and thorough. In case you're wondering if anyone actually watched every minute of it: it seems that there's a leak in a front seal at 54:07, as bubbles are forming. (Perhaps someone else already said this below; there are a LOT of comments.) Anyway, again, great video. Thank you.
Josh, hats off to you and Brinkley for letting us see firsthand inside a game changing company and how they do it. I am just floored at the attention to details given to every individual 5th wheel as it’s built. That gives me the confidence that should something happen to one I buy from Brinkley they went above and beyond behind the scene to keep that to a minimum as much as possible. This is very much an all inclusive Employ, Management Company team effort.
Incredibly impressive to see one of the owners/founders Micah Staley not just at the plant, but after hours climbing around on the roof, inspecting it. That is crazy. As an employee, when you see the owner care that much, it makes you care. As a prospective buyer, it gives you confidence in the product. That facility looks like a showroom rather than a factory (so clean and organized). THANK YOU BRINKLEY for giving us modern styling inside and out. THANK YOU JOSH for all you do.
Yeah I was kinda surprised. Production had ended about 2 hours ago by that point. I wrapped up around 4pm. Production stopped around noon. Micah and his team were still there .
Talking to a camera is difficult, takes practice and the guys at the beginning did well. Glad to see a company trying to do it RIGHT! I spent my day crawling under and over my camper. And lets just say Forest River is not even in the same ball park. I have a red wire sticking out the bottom between the frame and tarp material,, had that black foam sprayed at where it was suppose to seal around the gas line entry, had the black foam covering one of the low point drains, have the under belly held with two screws on one side of the camper someone missed the other two for the other side, the roof membrane was beautifully done on the camp side......and not sealed at all for a foot on the other side (some damage there already), have the camp kitchen drawer sagging so it auto opens and you have to lift up on it to pull the griddle out, dumped the grey tank and a chunk of wood comes out, piles of saw dust and cutouts left in the cabinets and every hidden spot, but it's what I could afford. If Brinkley would make a small 1/2 ton towable that is a good boon docker for hunters at something we could afford.....the market is there.
THANK YOU for the thorough detailed video of Brinkley. I have seen other Brinkley factory tours but his was mostly opinions and talking about things which were not Brinkley related. Your video is extremely informative, useful and funny. Now back to the aggressive laundry folding. 😅
My husband and I will be getting a RV in the coming years. Our first choice is an Oliver. I do really like the Brinkley. First RV that’s even come close to the Oliver.
I’m glad I saw this video as we are looking at a 3515. It gives us more confidence in the product especially when we are spending $$$$ on it. Thanks for the tour.
Outstanding video Josh once again! Thanks for all the hard work showing all the details in the process they take creating the Best RV's ever and so looking forward to the new designs coming soon!
This is beyond impressive. I don’t know about RV manufacturing, but I own an RV (full time), and have worked in manufacturing. When I see such investment in equipment and company culture, I can see this company stands out like a crown jewel of RV manufacturers. I can only hope to own one someday…or maybe work for them, lol! Great video tour!
Fantastic video! Fantastic company! I want one. I’ve been looking at the grand designs, but after doing a little bit more research and watching this video , I am heavily leaning towards the Brinkley 3100.. I am impressed with the quality and the cleanliness of the factory. When you take care of your employees, and treat them right, they will take care of the company…in any industry. Glad to see that pride has again returned to the American workforce.
Josh thanks SO MUCH for this video. My spouse and I are placing an order later this week for a Z 3100 and seeing this video sealed the deal for us for Brinkley. Feels so good going into this major purchase making an informed decision. Folks like yourself are a big part of that informed decision making!!
Very interesting video. They seem like a very good trailer manufacturer who keeps their shop clean. Was great to see a video dedicated to the manufacturing process. AS a retired manufacturing engineer who managed a quality management system in manufacturing it would be nice to see bar codes on parts that are getting installed on each trailer. This ensures, (1) they are using the latest and greatest part as well as the correct part number on that trailer, and (2) it would allow them to track supplier data on each part in case they had a quality issue in the field with a part they used 5 months ago and they would know exactly which trailers had it. Also, not sure why manufacturers don't use power tools that are set to specified torques by the engineers. This would avoid over-tightening fasteners, especially when fastening to wood.
Great video! We are getting ready to pull the trigger on a 3950! This video you made has just sealed the deal for me! I wanted to go to the factory and see for myself how things were done, I now know that they are the best camper built! About as close as you can get to being hand built! The fact that they might not produce more units in a day as most.....is a good thing!! I'd take quality over quantity anyway of the week! Thanks for making this video! GO BRINKLEY!!
Thanks for this tour Josh, I like what Brinkley is doing, if I was looking for a 5th wheel, it would be either Brinkley, or Alliance. Looking forward to what they will come with in the future!
my local jayco dealer sells alliance. the deliver guy gets chatty he says alliance has been terrible for them. units leaking before they even hit the dealership.
Thanks for bringing this factory tour to us. Overall, looks like a company that I need to study more. Quality looks high. My only concern is the overcuts on the OSB sub-flooring.
Wow! Just wow! What an amazing and in depth and informative and detail rich factory tour video. You outdid yourself, Josh and you've sold me on a Brinkley. GREAT job!
Great video Josh!!, great manufacturer, Love the company's culture. Love the integrity level. This has given me hope back in humanity. ❤ Thank you for showing this. 👍
So so many things about this company that they are doing correctly! Bravo Brinkley! Looking forward to a travel trailer. Love the 2900 though. Thanks Josh today for some laughs, had a hard couple of weeks and you have become a free stress reducer.
Josh, right before this point 1:01:35 you mentioned the Amish gentleman that didn’t want to be on camera. I live in Pennsylvania about an hour and a half from Lancaster county, where the largest Amish population in the country resides. The Amish are very much about craftsmanship. From the farms to the barn raising and other construction they make. Living where we live, we actively look for Amish craftsmanship in things we buy, especially high ticket items. Watching the Brinkley factory tours video on the Brinkley webpage I noticed what I first thought were Mennonite workers on the assembly line, (Mennonite is a more “modern” version of the Amish). In either case pride in craftsmanship is a cornerstone of both cultures. Brinkley is doing it as right as it can be humanly done. Kudos to you for doing what you do & to Brinkley for doing what they do the CORRECT way.
Excellent video & facility tour. Brinkley is fantastic. It’s really hard to adequately describe how I feel about Brinkley. All I can say is I need to watch for their towable travel trailer launches and find an Eastern Canadian Dealer close to my city in Saint John NB otherwise I’ll be driving to Indiana and picking it up myself at the factory haha. From what I have seen, thanks largely in part to your videos, Brinkley is offering extraordinary products and their processes are just stellar. Thanks Josh!
I really really like this brand.. I love the build quality accountability.. I love that the owner is personally invested and on the floor... It really looks Like the build quality is there.. I think it's worth the price, but it's just out of my personal realm of ownership, at least new build just for my family.. I don't think we'll see used ones in any great number on local lots in the following years, which is also a good ( not so good) thing.. Man, they are good looking well built units.. C'mon lotto! Daddy wants to buy momma a new brinkley!
Josh, those 17.5 tires are the same ones that I use on my Murray low bed trailer. Haven’t had a blowout with them yet, And don’t plan on one. Tire pressure and condition are key factors in avoiding tire problems.
Super great documentary on this product Josh. Good work. I enjoyed learning all the construction details and oversight. That is commendable to have a superior product and employee focused business but.....what is extremely important for the customer is CUSTOMER SUPPORT and backing their warranty. Too often the buyer has to fight and fight to get work authorized and completed. Only time will tell on this portion of Brinkley. I prefer the drop-down storage because it's much easier to view and access all my stored items, to install solar system components, and other customization.
Hey Josh, seen a number of your factory tours and this is without a doubt the very best I’ve ever seen. We’re seriously looking at a Grand Design , but we have to take the trip go to a dealer farther away who is a Brinkley dealer. I think that’ll be worth the time, effort, and potentially cost savings over the life of our time that we will be using an RV. Thank you for your outstanding work!
Love how these are made! Only two things I'd really love to see (not show stoppers, but would be above and beyond.) 1: Double Azdel, even the tiniest bit of water can destroy Luan. 2: Pressure treated flooring! No one does this. Wallboards and cabinets can be replaced simi easily, but replacing a water damaged floor is a Total PITA! Will be looking to buy one soon! Thanks for the tour!
Culture is the most important thing any company can work on. Brinkley looks to be a company that actually gets the importance whereas most companies don't put the emphasis on it. Great video.
We bought a Flagstaff and one of reasons is bc of the factory walk through at Rockwood. This one makes me want a Brinkley! Thank you for taking the time to show us this amazing company and their product.
Josh, Love your personality! I also love your tours, we are near retirment and are thinking of moving to more RV time. That being said, we have been watching lots of videos - Grand Design, Alliance, Brinkley . So far the information you have shared has helped us make some educated decisions! Thanks!!! Hope to come see you when we buy!
I am about a year out from purchasing an RV. I am going full time and I really like what I am seeing here. Josh you are providing a great service with these tours. Right now it comes down to Brinkley and Alliance. Keep them coming please.
We purchased a 2022 c class, it was the higher end model, it was one of the best recommended brand/model even from some of the best RV UA-camrs. I discovered over three dozen problems. I sent a letter telling them how bad it was and I give my recommendations on how to fix some problems even offer to visit to help solve problems. I’m a mechanic worked on boat fleets, snowmobiles, snowcats, vehicles, helicopters, aircrafts and jet engines. I brought in new equipment which saved tens of thousands to a hundred thousand of dollars and weeks on a single job. Did many improvements to our shop to make it more efficient than others across the country. Brinkley solved some of the problems I stated in my letter that would had made their RVs a better product. I do recommend they bring in or check out other industry experts from the boating and aircraft industry. I hope they build C classes with a bunkhouse. Because I would definitely get one.
I am totally sold. Quality and investment in their staff. The one thing that would make me jump is if they would design a twin bed option for people who cannot navigate around the sides of a traditional bed and it would be great for companion travelers.
This was a very cool and informative video got me to watch. Thank you! I’m buying to park at an RV resort and live full time while I find land to build a tiny home. So many things to consider. Appreciate your hard work Josh! 💕
Josh, first thanks for your efforts to be straight with us about RV products and the RV industry. Now about Brinkley, I think the new Z 2900 is awesome. A couple things I would like to see is another color for the theater chairs as an option. Also, offer the front cap lights in a changing color option, which is important especially when staying in an RV park, some neighbors might not like white lights. Plus make them able to be dimmer capable.
@JoshtheRVNerd we haven't seen them in-person, but will definitely make it to our Florida dealership maybe this week. The Brinkley RVs look like they are a very quality built product
These look like very well built trailers especially in that front area where a lot of people are experiencing frame failures now. This shows that 5th wheel can be built to withstand the stresses people put them under. It also points out that it costs money to build this level of quality and perhaps people need to adjust their expectations to that reality. If you want better, stronger structures, you need to be willing to pay for them. Thanks for sharing this, another great job.
Most FWs today are doing just fine there. But we have certainly recently seen a significant uptick in specific models from specific builders. I'm peeling thru that whole onion now in hopes of better understand the cause and potential resolutions
Awesome! Thank you . Quality build is important . Even if it means us spending the little Xtra money to ensure a we get a quality product. Rv buyers would rather wait to have a quality built RV these days. When fast production and quality cuts takes priority over building quality RVs Manufacturers sales will decline and doesn't do well for future sales. Keep up the good work brinkley!❤
Thanks Josh I found this video real interesting because when we're ready to buy, we decided the Brinkley model G 3500 is what we want. I'm happy to hear their starting on the toy haulers. And about your video, could you do the weird head thing that you did in the beginning more often? I love to laugh. 😛 Kim
Amazing video!! I love how you explain all the details for us people that don’t know a whole lot about RV production. It was your detailed walk through video of the model G prototype that made my husband and I start looking at Brinkley. We go this month for a factory tour and can’t wait to walk through a completed model G. Thank you for all your hard work.
As they say, "You get what you pay." Brinkley (a couple of others, too) is doing great letting you show their dedication and attention to detail; I thank them! If I figure out how to take buy it, it's MINE! Something smaller (TT?) would better suite my needs, but, who knows. Thanks to Brinkley and you, Josh, for giving us some great insight. Y'all Be Safe!
I have the honor of working for a dealership that sells Brinkley. They are pushing the industry in a way the industry has needed to be pushed for a very long time!
So excited for the Brinkley RV to get a model with a small desk for the people that work remotely. Love the 345GK from GD but waiting on something similar from Brinkley. Good Work Guys!!!
Josh. good talking to you last week. You always put in the extra effort to bring in good info and content. I have worked on a couple of Brinkleys recently, and I was impressed with the product. Now I know why because of your video. Mike
I saw one this weekend being hauled by a transport driver. I walked all around it, and man it was pretty! I can't wait to see their TTs and what else they come up with!
josh they are fantastic , that unit is built like a tank and its beautiful. they are 1000% on target. my pop used to tell me all the time (YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR) . you buy cheap , you get cheep, you pay more you get more. i don't know what they get for these units but it has to be expensive . after your walk around and looking at how they build them and the materials they use it is worth every penny , it is built better then a home. any one that looks at an R.V. that is similar to the brinkley and then a brinkley and buys the other unit because it is cheaper is a total fool. these things no matter who makes them are a big ticket item but for me if i am paying for it i am not buying junk . i will be happy to pay more for brinkley qulity up front and have a unit that will last. or you can pay the very least that you can and have some thing that gives me heart aches all the time. showing how they built that roof sold me right there alone . but you kept coming up with things one after the other that just would make any one an idiot for not wanting a brinkley . then after all of that they Q.C. test the S%$& out of it, even the boss looking the work over when every one is gone for the day tell me he really cares how they are put together . to me i want to do business with his company even if it cost more. not some cookie cutter card board company. (YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR) , any dealer in there right mind would want to sell these things and not junk that will make people hate them. the only thing that i want to know is will they customize a little like put in a washer / dryer and more solar . also why did they not use a nice heavy fiberglass roof over that beautiful wood roof that they made so smooth. fiberglass would take beautiful to that nice smooth rounded wood roof. i built a thirty foot work boat once , fiberglass on ply wood and never had a leak the twenty years i had it.. you did a great walk a round video on this unit. if you sell these units tell the people when they start to walk away because of price , (YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR) buy cheep, get cheep , pay more, get more.
I was so glad so see that the people that build them camp and surprised to see the care to every detail…we have been full timing for 2 years now and would definitely consider buying a Brinkley for quality reasons Peace from Ontario Canada currently in Nanaimo B.C. Snowbirding
Thank you for the tour! What we have seen so far is impressive. Husband and I would like to travel the country but we would really like something 30 feet or just under. Not necessarily lighter, just possibly shorter. We also like the north/south beds with actual drawers in the night stands (thank you Brinkley). Looking forward to see the TT line and what else they have planned. Oh yeah and the idea of a window in the front cap is a good one. 😊
one of the things i like about them over others is the quality of the insulation and thickness looks far better. the aluminum frame work looked like it was welded which i think is better too. they just seem to be better built to me. if i decide to get a 5th wheel they will be the first i look into. good vid
I am really glad to see this Brinkley RV factory tour! I can see they are above and beyond the other rv factory builders! I definitely would love to get rid of this Keystone Cougar 367 FLS and get a Brinkley RV for sure! Thank you for the tour!!
Excellent review, Josh. This is an awesome product! They’re filling a huge gap in the 5th wheel area and doing it with style, with class, with intention and with purpose. I love their business philosophy. And I can’t leave out the interior design folks. The very awesome interior design folks! The competition is, largely, flunking here (and in plenty of other categories). I’ll be living 9 months/year in this thing and of course I’d love to have a lovely environment. Who wouldn’t? Well done and thanks!

Wow.. strong praise. TY for sharing
Gotta look at alliance! Grand design Nuttin special

TY for sharing :)
Good video!
Wow ty for sharing
❤the fact that their first priority is happy employees that give out a better product SPEAKS VOLUMES....❤❤❤❤
For ten years I delivered supplies to RV industry. Walk around while waiting. This is truly impressive. Climate control work space Really long over due.
Ty for the insights Michael!
Ty for sharing. I appreciate your experience and insight
Wow.. thank you!!
Impressive. That’s all I’m saying. For an owner to take that much pride in his company is just impressive!❤
Every time I am there he’s crawling around the plant.
Every. Single. Time.
I am seriously impressed by their facilities. I truly appreciate the cleaning of the units. It makes a difference and the shaking is a outstanding feature.
Nicest factory I've visited yet
So glad to see a company put people first. The workers and the customers! Can you imagine having a job you are proud to go to? That the RV you help build is what the company owner camps in? That's amazing.
I totally can. Have been proud of my work for years. It's a big reason I think investing in people makes a difference
Their company care for customers and their employees is a great thing to see. Keeping your employees happy and loyal to their product makes a big difference in the quality and innovation of their products.
Yeah I don’t think those factors are unrelated by any means
The more Brinkley tours you do just makes my mind up that I'll buy one as my next camper. Thanks for the great tour uncle Josh! #Nerdherd
Awesome ty 😊
Super impressed with this. Love how you showed just how well they insulated everything especially that front cap. Not something many do. Was equally impressed when the issue was found how like you said everything was an all stop until issue was figured out. Very impressive. Brinkley will be at the top of my list when I look to replace my current camper.
Keep up the good work!!!!
That truly impressed me. I think they spent a half hour on a single slide adjustment to make sure it was right
That is a thing I hear about at Japanese (Toyota I think) auto factories.
Oh wow! Ty for sharing
Thank you for making this video. We took the tour October 2023. Ordered our Z3100 January 2024. Taking another tour February 28 to see ours on the line. You capture the true heart of this company and its values and work ethic. Loved seeing Micah on the roof!
He's a seriously dedicated workaholic. He's ALWAYS in the plant when I'm there
Brinkley seems like a what can happen when people stop complaining and start creating.
They were all saying the same things about respecting leadership, finally having a chance to do something better, feeling appreciated
Alliance is the only other factory I've toured with THAT level of "We love it here"
@Josh the RV Nerd at Bish's RV that's awesome.
Will do!
I have to say that’s a camper for me . What pride put into manufacturing this is what brings manufacturing back into the USA Great products built in America by Americans . I’ll pay any difference for the best. God Bless this company and its staff!!! Great job.
😊
We just did a walk thru of the 2900 and its built right....All quality material used, great suspension wheels and especially tires.
TY for sharing! :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
My wife and I just purchased a Z3100 and are waiting for a few extras (slide toppers, etc.) to be installed before we take delivery. This video is very reassuring that we made a good decision. Very excited for our first trip which is soon.
My pleasure!
Thank you.
👍🏻 ty for tuning in 😃
Josh, hats off to you and Brinkley for letting us see firsthand inside a game changing company and how they do it.
Thank you so much! These vids take like an entire day to put together but you can learn so much from factory tours
Yeah respect to anyone that steps up like that
THANK YOU for the thorough detailed video of Brinkley. I have seen other Brinkley factory tours but his was mostly opinions and talking about things which were not Brinkley related. Your video is extremely informative, useful and funny. Now back to the aggressive laundry folding. 😅
Make sure to stretch first lol
@@JoshtheRVNerd absolutely!
My pleasure! Glad it helped!
Outstanding video Josh once again! Thanks for all the hard work showing all the details in the process they take creating the Best RV's ever and so looking forward to the new designs coming soon!
wow TY! It was a pleasure going thru this one :)
Ty Ginny
They are doing things that ALL of the RV industry needs to implement. Quality assurance during production, what a concept!! #Sarcasm.
😆 🤦🏻♂️
Fantastic video! Fantastic company! I want one. I’ve been looking at the grand designs, but after doing a little bit more research and watching this video , I am heavily leaning towards the Brinkley 3100.. I am impressed with the quality and the cleanliness of the factory. When you take care of your employees, and treat them right, they will take care of the company…in any industry. Glad to see that pride has again returned to the American workforce.
Right on!
This tour sent me over on my decision between Brinkley, GD and FR. I am now on the hunt for a full body paint 3950, Thank you!!!
Glad to be of service
Josh thanks SO MUCH for this video. My spouse and I are placing an order later this week for a Z 3100 and seeing this video sealed the deal for us for Brinkley. Feels so good going into this major purchase making an informed decision. Folks like yourself are a big part of that informed decision making!!
Glad I could help! Would you mind dropping me a quick review in return for the helping hand at g.page/r/CdPcitNVx2nDEAg/review by any chance
We look forward to having you as member of the Brinkley family!
Very impressive overview of their processes and details. A quality built process that appears to be heads and shoulders above their competitors.
I'll be surprised if some of what you see here doesn't get adopted by a few other brands at some point
@ 39:30 that was my next question!! I do appreciate that effort!!
Ty!!
☺ TY. Glad this was helpful!
Mind dropping me a quick review for the helping hand at g.page/r/CdPcitNVx2nDEAg/review by chance?
Great tour Josh! I'm so glad UA-cam shared your channel! 😊
😊 welcome aboard!
Thanks for this tour Josh, I like what Brinkley is doing, if I was looking for a 5th wheel, it would be either Brinkley, or Alliance. Looking forward to what they will come with in the future!
I see a lot of similarities between things they’re doing there for sure
I agree, only these two.
my local jayco dealer sells alliance. the deliver guy gets chatty he says alliance has been terrible for them. units leaking before they even hit the dealership.
Thanks for bringing this factory tour to us. Overall, looks like a company that I need to study more. Quality looks high. My only concern is the overcuts on the OSB sub-flooring.
Thx for watching!
Wow! Just wow! What an amazing and in depth and informative and detail rich factory tour video. You outdid yourself, Josh and you've sold me on a Brinkley. GREAT job!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video Josh!!, great manufacturer, Love the company's culture.
Love the integrity level.
This has given me hope back in humanity. ❤
Thank you for showing this. 👍
Lol glad to be of service
So so many things about this company that they are doing correctly! Bravo Brinkley! Looking forward to a travel trailer. Love the 2900 though. Thanks Josh today for some laughs, had a hard couple of weeks and you have become a free stress reducer.
Sorry to hear that Barbara. Glad I could be a little ray of sunshine for you!
Lot of people don’t realize the Mennonite orders predate the Amish orders as well
@@JoshtheRVNerd I didn’t know that. I thought it was the other way around.
Yeah seeing one of the owners hanging out WELL after hours and checking on work was confidence inspiring
Josh, those 17.5 tires are the same ones that I use on my Murray low bed trailer. Haven’t had a blowout with them yet, And don’t plan on one. Tire pressure and condition are key factors in avoiding tire problems.
That’s great to know thank you
Super great documentary on this product Josh.
Yeah what I see in owners groups is good fulfillment so far
One of the best tours I’ve seen. Great quality and one that I can dream about! Thanks for taking us along!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow, thanks!
TY Steve. Appreciate you sharing! :)
Culture is the most important thing any company can work on. Brinkley looks to be a company that actually gets the importance whereas most companies don't put the emphasis on it. Great video.
Seems to be the foundation of what they do
We bought a Flagstaff and one of reasons is bc of the factory walk through at Rockwood. This one makes me want a Brinkley! Thank you for taking the time to show us this amazing company and their product.
Glad it was helpful to you. I still feel extremely good about rockstaff and what they do
Josh, Love your personality! I also love your tours, we are near retirment and are thinking of moving to more RV time. That being said, we have been watching lots of videos - Grand Design, Alliance, Brinkley . So far the information you have shared has helped us make some educated decisions! Thanks!!! Hope to come see you when we buy!
Awesome! Thank you! Glad to be of assistance
I am about a year out from purchasing an RV. I am going full time and I really like what I am seeing here. Josh you are providing a great service with these tours. Right now it comes down to Brinkley and Alliance. Keep them coming please.
Awesome! Thank you!
Same!!
Wow, you've got a lot of expertise & experience. 👍
I am totally sold. Quality and investment in their staff. The one thing that would make me jump is if they would design a twin bed option for people who cannot navigate around the sides of a traditional bed and it would be great for companion travelers.
I don’t see that happening from the factory anytime soon but who knows what the future holds
Thanks!
Wow super kind of you. Tyvm! 😊 🙏🏻
This was a very cool and informative video got me to watch. Thank you! I’m buying to park at an RV resort and live full time while I find land to build a tiny home. So many things to consider. Appreciate your hard work Josh! 💕
Glad to hear it! It's a process for sure but great to hear you're thinking it through
What a great factory tour! What an awesome well manufactured RV.
It really is!
Thanks for the fascinating tour of the Brinkley facility. Amazing how they build those beautiful, high-end RV's.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great and informative video can't wait to see them make travel trailers. I would definitely buy one of those.
All in time!
We will have our travel trailer line starting late this year or early 2024.
Thank you for sharing. I’m curious if you’ve seen one in person. The colors in person or definitely a lot nicer than just off my video.
😛 Kim
Sorry - which weird thing? I need you to narrow that down
@@JoshtheRVNerd Ok, Your head kinda got shaped like a lightbulb and your mouth got tiny. Sorry laughing remembering it 😀
Amazing video!! I love how you explain all the details for us people that don’t know a whole lot about RV production. It was your detailed walk through video of the model G prototype that made my husband and I start looking at Brinkley. We go this month for a factory tour and can’t wait to walk through a completed model G. Thank you for all your hard work.
Glad it was helpful!
Now we have to live up to Josh's tour when you come! Not fair!
@@BrinkleyRV I am sure it will be just as awesome!! We are excited to meet everyone and have lots of questions.
Thank you for the tour Josh.
My pleasure! Enjoy! I know you can’t have finished it yet :)
Best video ever done josh. I love the product and seeing how well they are built I’m impressed
Wow ty Jim!
Awesome video!! If I was going to buy a 5th wheel it would definitely be a Brinkley, all based on this video
Wow TY Matthew! :)
Ty Raymond
Wow, I watched the whole video very impressive. Thanks for sharing!!
She's a long one. That's for sure. Didn't intend for that to be the case but every step of the way I found more to talk about
I have the honor of working for a dealership that sells Brinkley. They are pushing the industry in a way the industry has needed to be pushed for a very long time!
👍🏻
So excited for the Brinkley RV to get a model with a small desk for the people that work remotely. Love the 345GK from GD but waiting on something similar from Brinkley. Good Work Guys!!!
Fingers crossed!
Wow, thanks for the tour.
My pleasure!
Quality and quality control is definitely the best.
Josh. good talking to you last week. You always put in the extra effort to bring in good info and content. I have worked on a couple of Brinkleys recently, and I was impressed with the product. Now I know why because of your video. Mike
TY for sharing, Mike! They are definitely putting in some effort!
I saw one this weekend being hauled by a transport driver. I walked all around it, and man it was pretty! I can't wait to see their TTs and what else they come up with!
Yeah they have a heck of a look!!
Needed to refresh my memory so final stop number fiver down the rabbit hole of factory tours! Thanks Nerd!
Awesome tour, you hit all key points. It reassured me we made the right decision in our purchased of a Brinkley. Keep up the great work!
Congratulations
Wow. Looks like a winner. Bish Josh and Brinkley how can you go wrong. Thanks Josh. Maybe one of these days.
This was by far my favorite factory that I have been to, great video. QUALITY
Awesome! Thank you!
josh they are fantastic , that unit is built like a tank and its beautiful. they are 1000% on target. my pop used to tell me all the time (YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR) . you buy cheap , you get cheep, you pay more you get more. i don't know what they get for these units but it has to be expensive . after your walk around and looking at how they build them and the materials they use it is worth every penny , it is built better then a home. any one that looks at an R.V. that is similar to the brinkley and then a brinkley and buys the other unit because it is cheaper is a total fool. these things no matter who makes them are a big ticket item but for me if i am paying for it i am not buying junk . i will be happy to pay more for brinkley qulity up front and have a unit that will last. or you can pay the very least that you can and have some thing that gives me heart aches all the time. showing how they built that roof sold me right there alone . but you kept coming up with things one after the other that just would make any one an idiot for not wanting a brinkley . then after all of that they Q.C. test the S%$& out of it, even the boss looking the work over when every one is gone for the day tell me he really cares how they are put together . to me i want to do business with his company even if it cost more. not some cookie cutter card board company.
I'm sold. This is the type of product I want to be spending my money on when it is time to purchase our RV!!
TY For Watching!
Excellent video! Love the Brinkley RVs. If another RV is in my future, Brinkley is the one I'm going to first!
Good choice!
Ty for watching!
Thanks for this tour. Very informative and makes me want to look at the Brinkley line even more.
Hope you like what you find as much as I did :)
one of the things i like about them over others is the quality of the insulation and thickness looks far better. the aluminum frame work looked like it was welded which i think is better too. they just seem to be better built to me. if i decide to get a 5th wheel they will be the first i look into. good vid
Ty Justin. Glad you enjoyed
I love that these factories are opening up to you, really enjoy these videos!!
I learn a LOT about the brands when I get to do this as well
Brinkley will be my next camper. A sales rep at the Louisiana RV Show hinted at a midbunk model coming out soon.
Yep yep! I got to see the proto when there

Did they let you shoot a video of the kid bunk???!!!
This was such an excellent video. Very helpful to new Brinkley owners. Thanks Josh!
our pleasure! TY for watching
Love your videos and watching your Brinkley videos has assured me, without a doubt, that we made the correct decision in buying a Brinkley!
Nice!
I am really glad to see this Brinkley RV factory tour! I can see they are above and beyond the other rv factory builders! I definitely would love to get rid of this Keystone Cougar 367 FLS and get a Brinkley RV for sure! Thank you for the tour!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This was an amazing video. Thank you!
My pleasure! ty 😊
Impressive! Love to see it here in the good old USA! Go Brinkleys
Glad you enjoyed it
Excellent review, Josh.
