Welcome to an ambitious adventure that we're calling "Around The World In 80ish Days" which takes us to the Caribbean, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Iceland, the British Isles, France, and Bermuda over the course of 81 days of travel and 7 different cruises! This third leg of the trip is a seven-day Western Caribbean sailing from April 15-22, 2023 out of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with stops in Cozumel, Mahogany Bay, Belize, and Costa Maya... let's do this thing!! :D

I'm definitely a clapper when it comes to showing appreciation for the musicians around the ship. Even if no one else is clapping, I'll at least do it a few times to let the musicians know that I hear them and am enjoying their music.

I always bring a pad of super sticky post-it’s and I peel a couple off to cover sensors and all the little annoying lights in the room. I also bring binder clips to hold the drapes closed. I like my room DARK. 😁
I’ve started wrapping painters tape around a pen and then cover the sensors to stop the motion lights. For the closet we would pull it back during the day so the light works and cover at night.
I’m a leftie too Dee! It’s definitely a right handed world!
Our floor lights would come on just by turning over in bed and the comforter would move. So we took the little decorative pillows and laid them on the floor in front of the nightstands every night to stop that. Next time we will just take painters tape.
That’s a great ship is coming to Port Canaveral which makes me very happy!!

Fact about the night club on that class is that on the grand princess it caused the ship to sail bow high and burn more fuel. After removing the night club it actually did the opposite. Future ships of that class had the club just after the funnel instead. Such a great venue
We used blue painters tape on the sensor in the closet on the Regal. We didn’t have the night stand lights though. Someone said they put bandaids over the sensors.
I was really starting to wonder if no one did trip vlogs in Princess cruises? We just booked our first cruise an pretty much the same trip you are doing but on the enchanted princess.
We both love good food so I’m glad you did the little food review at the end here.
We were on that ship in April. The closet light didn't stay on long enough to grab something out of the closet and the night light by the bed drove us nuts! Ended up covering the light by the bed with something. Lol

The Good Spirits bar on Ruby didn't have that special menu. We were really disappointed because we were so looking forward to trying them all. Guess we'll have to try a different Princess ship!
Same thing happened to us with the night light so we put a cushion in front of the draws.

Agree about putting the decorative pillow in front of draws at night. We also pack masking tape and can easily cover the electric eye on the overhead light at the closet. We make sure to remove it at the end of the cruise. Works great!
You didn't love the piano guy in Crooner's Lounge? Tommy McPhee was probably my favourite thing of my entire Caribbean Princess cruise last month.
Okay, Tommy was my second favourite. I competed on stage for The Voice though I didn't win.
Dinner dishing with the ding dongs. I don't know about the new Princess love boat dream. The old one was my favorite to get. I guess add that to the very long list of things to fight with Jay about.
We love your show! Dine with DEEJAY is fun but I wish you could give a rating for the food and cruise like you do for shower....this cruise video is rated 7.5

how has the internet been? I am cruising on the Dawn in November.
On Princess? We had the highest level package and it worked well for everything we needed. It can vary drastically from ship to ship though, it seems!! :P

Do you have a choice of set dinner time or anytime dining? We will be on this ship in Oct 2023 From Canada.
Their MDR times are a bit convoluted at the moment. It looks like everything runs through the “Dine My Way” section of their app. But you can supposedly still select a traditional set dining time, though you might not know exactly when it will be… see the third bullet point on the first page here… www.princess.com/downloads/pdf/ships-and-experience/food-and-dining/dine-my-way/dine-my-way-faqs.pdf
Hi did your casino cruise deal also came with a free drink package ? An I just came off the Ruby princess how's the coffee ruby was bad watered down coffee I think they just changed venders but still ? Why would that be anything difference ?

Why do your videos take a month to come out, after you are long gone, when other creators videos take maybe a week?
We’re in the midst of an 81-day trip, which makes it difficult to find time to edit while still making time to experience and document the experience onboard each ship that we sail. We normally take three or four hours each day to work, which allows for every-other-day vlog posts. We could do something like once or twice a week, which would be easier to maintain, but we prefer to get as much content out as quickly as we can!! :P ~Jay
