Just noticed that almost all the dancers were from eastern Europe!!! Is there something in the water there that makes them such fabulous dancers🤩🤩👏👏❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦
Something like that. Dance in Russia is supported on a government level. Besides being something they define themselves as. Think of how Americans think football defines their greatness. Same for dance in Russia. Russia had a long history of seeing male dancers as masculine, America does not. Hence why we have so few homegrown male dancers that make it to pro level.

Today at Korea Open(Latin) such big names like Troels/Ina, Pavel/Polina, Nino/Andra, Kirill/Valeria and Massimo/Laura, etc come to compete w/legends like.Ricardo/Julia(until retirement) and Michael/Joanna(a few times?)....
