Glad you posted affiliate links, I'll be getting the Harbour DLC for sure through it. Your videos have really helped me keep my city in +80% traffic! Was kinda hoping it'd flop so I could send it in and have it showcased but that's just me being greedy!
Overground metro was really overdue, nearly every metro station in my home city is overground because the bedrock is mad of solid granitic igneous plate here abd they couldn't drill the tunnels at all.
The thing is, it already existed as part of the Metro Overhaul Mod... and that allowed you to set a station with either rail OR metro lines, defeating the need for a separate station on the opposite side of the road... Which is far more like real life than this. Same goes for a lot of the 'new' transport features... metro/bus hubs already exist, metro's with multiple platforms in a variety of orientations... most oft he 'new' hubs are already out there. It actually pisses me off that they're taking other peoples ideas and packaging them up as 'new' features and charging people for it... instead of actually being creative and coming up with something new... stuff like this is just a money grab and people shouldn't buy it unless it's heavily discounted to a more reasonable price.
Next step is to have metro interchanges with lines that cross over, like in the new bus-metro hub. Also metro trains that look like metro trains, not small intercity trains.
@@HecklerUK The Metro Overhaul Mod is still available for those who don't want to purchase the new DLC so I don't see what the problem is. Trolley buses seem like such a good idea. Assuming they have more capacity than regular buses, they don't reduce lane count like a regular trolley. Looking forward to 8 lane roads with trolley bus wires.
I didn't know they were called that. I thought they were just called electric buses. Personally I would have preferred to be able to put overhead powerlines on any road, rather than be "stuck" with special trolley bus roads.

I've managed to make my own unique Metro-Bus-Tram-Taxi hubs that look fantastic stuck right in the center of my high density office/apartment areas. The Metro looks fantastic running down the middle of two rows of high rise buildings, and it was free! Disappointed that the underground didn't come with any new stations whatsoever, so I can't wait for the mods to come flooding in for it.

I am looking forward to this, they address a number of ideas I myself have had. Though, I find that the trolley busses are very close to the same as trams. Both needs one or more depots. They both need special roads. Trams have the extra advantage of possible separate tracks, trolley busses will always need a road. Except for variety or personal taste, is there really any major difference? Maybe in driving speed, capacity and cost. We will see. And I will add, thank you Biffa, for hours of enjoyable contents.
Biffa, I don't know if you check comments on old videos, so I'm here. A little over a month ago you posted a video about 100% traffic in Teaville. SAILBOAT FERRIES I believe it is the network extension mod, but you don't need to get rid of it, there are more features to use to fix the whole, what type of vehicle, gets chosen for that line, any transport line. When you download vehicle assets, the game will use them at random. What the network extension mod did was allow you to choose the vehicles you want on that line. The box that you seen when it said cruise ship, that's the mod allowing you to see what is being used on that line. When you go to (ughhh, I'm not turning the game on, the box that displays all the network info for every type of line, bus, tram, metro etc) you then go to each lines details and in there you can select the vehicles (from that list you seen that said cruise ship) and then remove what you don't want. After that you click the choose vehicle button, click the one you want and add as many as you want. I would get school busses on my bus lines, so I figured it out fast because all that yellow driving around was ugly. FERRY LINES Maybe you did it off camera, and I've never used ferries, but I assume the lines work the same as everything else. When you drew the 3 lines Mainland to Main Island Main Island to Second Island then Second Island to the back of Main Island then to the front of Main Island, 2 things. 1. When you drew the line from back of main island to front of main island, you said, "from there to there, just to give a little shortcut" If I'm correct, you have to draw a new line to be able to use that shortcut, the ferry will not go to a station unless a line is drawn to that station. 2. You merged the second and third line to make one. You connected it to the front of the island, I assume, so people from the second island don't have to go through the main island to get to the mainland. They can just go from second island, to the front of the main island and catch the other ferry to the mainland. You should have just went from the second island to the back of the main island, then straight to the mainland. Nobody on the main island will ever go to the bottom ferry, just to go all the way around the island just to get to the front ferry on the same island, they would just go to the front ferry, then to the main island. A long time ago I asked you about the mod that add nodes into road. A month or 2 back I heard you say in a video that you know those mods are out there, but they are not for you, I would like to make the argument on why that mod can be important. When you are on the road driving, when are you not allowed to merge into the next lane, only when there is a car beside you but except for that, you can merge into any lane at any time; It makes things more efficient. One thing we can use to our advantage in this game is that cars do not crash. They will line up forever, but they do not crash, so why would you not want to use a node tool to add 6-8 nodes in a segment that was only 2. I've talked a lot about the car pathing in the game, in your comments many times so I'm going to skip the details, just trust me when I say, because of the way the pathing works in the game, when you use the node tool on roundabouts, it completely eliminates the wonky bonky lane changing. Because of all the nodes, the game can path so much more efficiently. I'll never bring it up again, but that's my argument.
My favourite are the helicopter traffic jams. There are going to be so much things fyling around. Planes large and small, blimbs, helicopters, balloons, fire, police and disaster managing flyables. Wahoo I think we need more space in the air.
Biffa: you can't cause traffic jams that I can't fix

Congrats on 400k subscribers!
The helicopter jam had me in tears. What a great find.
Biffa, I don't know if you check comments on old videos, so I'm here. A little over a month ago you posted a video about 100% traffic in Teaville.
SAILBOAT FERRIES
I believe it is the network extension mod, but you don't need to get rid of it, there are more features to use to fix the whole, what type of vehicle, gets chosen for that line, any transport line.
FERRY LINES
Maybe you did it off camera, and I've never used ferries, but I assume the lines work the same as everything else. When you drew the 3 lines
Mainland to Main Island
Main Island to Second Island
then
Second Island to the back of Main Island then to the front of Main Island, 2 things.
I'll never bring it up again, but that's my argument.
congrats 400k!
Brilliant, helicopter traffic! Loved it!
Thank you for the walk through. Much appreciated.
Biffa: 4k
Me: Struggling to play it in 480p
Always solid content 👌
My favourite are the helicopter traffic jams.
There are going to be so much things fyling around. Planes large and small, blimbs, helicopters, balloons, fire, police and disaster managing flyables. Wahoo I think we need more space in the air.
genuinely very excited at the number of mods i no longer need thanks to this expansion
Yes! All the public transport options! Especially with integrated stations 😍😍😍😍😍
I came to YT saying "I need a Biffa video pleeeease" and there you go.. NICE...
6:50 the old regular bus driver are CLEARLY NOT HAPPY and shouting at the new trolley bus driver!
“Not sure if that’s just me that is privileged to get grass cars”
I was killing myself 😂😂
